Our country needs to be healed

Our country needs us in order to be healed. Everyone is complaining on how bad things are around here
and how corrupt are the officials but most of us do nothing.
I will start with the story of King Solomon from 2 Chronicles 7.
Tell them about the construction of the temple and the offerings that were made in the process of the
sanctification of the temple. Huge sacrifices were made 22000 cattle and 12000 sheep and goat.
Tell them about the elections for the European Parliament and how we can impact that by choosing the
right people.(there are a lot of Christians running for those spots)
2 Chronicles 7:14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek
my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and
will heal their land.
Our prayer is the most important thing that our country needs. Prayer, Fasting, reaching out, listening to
God`s voice and being sensitive to the things he is showing us around us.
How many people around the country are needy, and we just run past them every day. Our country can
change if we act the way God wants us to act.
Tell them story with me and the beggar with 10 lei.
2 Chronicles 7:15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
If we, as Christians decide to live holy lives, God`s eyes will be opened , his ears will start paying more
attention to our prayers, and our land will be healed.
Encourage them to pray for the country and the officials.
Pray!
In order to be able to change the country you will have to ask for wisdom and guidance from
God, everything can start from you. God is giving you the power to do the great things that you expect
for your life and your country`s life.
John 14:12
Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works
than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.
What else do we need other than this? If we believe in our hearts that Jesus is our Lord, he will change
in such a way that you will do the things He does and even greater things than He did on earth. He gives
us that power and makes us aware of the opportunities around us through the Holy Spirit.


SO LET`S START LIVING HOLY LIVES NOW!
Don`t delay your start of a clean life because you can`t know if you will live tomorrow or God will decide
that you had enough.
Matthew6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to
you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each
day has enough trouble of its own.

STEPS TO BE ABLE TO BECOME A WORLD CHANGER
1) Humble themsleves
Tell the story before the Last Supper when Jesus humbled himself and washed the feet of the
apostles.
Philippians 2:7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature[b] of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death
even death on a cross!
2) Pray
Types of prayer : Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Sanctification. Tell them a little about
each one and give example.
Turn from your wicked ways if you want others to turn from theirs. Be the first one to pray and
ask for forgiveness and for God to open your eyes to see what you are doing wrong.
Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lords people.

3) Seek the Lord
Make this a goal for each of your days. To seek the Lord. Seek the Lord`s will for you and His
guidance.
Isaiah 55:6 Seek the Lord while he may be found;
call on him while he is near.
7 Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for he will freely pardon.
4) Turn away from your wicked ways.
Repentance is the first stage in the turning from our wicked ways. Repentance is a three step
process, which consist of (a) admitting we are sinners, (b) confessing our sins and asking for
forgiveness of our sins, and (c) turning from our sins.
1 John 1:9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to
cleanse us from all wickedness. NLT

These requirements need to be met in order for God to heal the land. Do we need healing for
Romania? Yes we do, then let`s do this.

Look at verse 13:
2 Chronicles 7:13 13 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to
devour the land or send a plague among my people.
God`s mercy towards our wicked ways is not endless, we need to change fast so this doesn`t happen.
Tell them about the association between rain and the fact that God is the Living Water.
Let`s change before this happens and start healing Romania!
