DNF: Did not Finish. A driver black
Flagged from a driving incident (3 DOT’s, 2 Calls,
parts or liberating fluid, signaling working on the
car on the track and tech DQ that does not result
in a 30 day suspension) will receive points for the
position they are
Scored in at the time of DNF. This includes any
driver that does not finish the race voluntarily
(broken car/parts). The driver must take at least
one lap under his or her own power to be scored
as a DNF.
Proposed Wording: DNF: Did not Finish. A driver black flagged from a
driving incident (3 DOT’s, 2 Calls, parts or
liberating fluid, signaling working on the car on
the track and tech DQ that does not result in a
30 day suspension) will receive points for the
position they are scored in by lap count after the
finish of the race in the order they left the track.
This includes any driver that does not finish the
race voluntarily (broken car/parts). The driver
must take at least on lap under his or her own
power to be scored as a DNF.
Reason for Change: The current wording on this rule implies that if a
car is in first place and has to leave the race etc.,
the car will get first place points even though
they didn’t finish the race. The proposed wording
will change tins to the original meaning that the
car leaving the track will be scored in the position
that they left the track.

or actual pill draw upon system failure or tower
decision.
Proposed Wording: Qualifying order will be decided by random pill
draw. Random pill draw will be completed by
MOSCORE or actual pill draw upon system failure or
tower decision. The order of racing will be
determined by a random pill draw during the pit
meeting of the first race. The order will then rotate
throughout the race season in QMA order. (i.e. Sr.
Honda is drawn for race 1 then Heavy Honda would
start 2nd, Junior Stock would start race 3, etc.)
Reason for Change: Allow classes to qualify and run at different times
of the day.

Proposed Wording: During driver sign-ins, each family is required to
select a race position (flag person, scorer, judge,
track director, etc.) to fill for at least one class
during that event. If a family does not sign in for
a position the driver will start at the back of the
first heat.

have to always be waiting on workers.
