This guide was developed as a quick reference for reviewing and checking Cummins drawings. The purpose is to identify and
eliminate common errors that are found on released drawings. It is organized into categories of similar manufacturing processes and/or
part features. Within these categories, the guide is broken into sections that refer to views, dimensions and tolerances, notes, standards
and title, revision and structure blocks. It is mostly phrased in the form of questions. The questions are to be asked concerning your
particular drawing. It doesnt mean that everything mentioned will apply to your drawing. This guide is not intended to be a substitute for
the proper Cummins standards and practices. This guide was developed by the HHP Checking Forum Group. The group is still meeting
bimonthly and would like to continue to add content. If you would like to offer any comments and/or additions to this guide, please
contact Bruce Trotter.
