Objects Worked on:
• New Settlement Step Implementation for Value Forecasting: Creating and adding a new custom step to the
Settlement Procedure for the forecasting of profile values. The created profiles must be shown in the standard log
displayed after the Settlement Run. One of the parameters should also have the summation of all the profiles for
the different periods.
• New Settlement Step Implementation for generating missing profile values: Creating and adding a new custom
step to the Settlement Procedure which would generate the replacement values based on the Replacement Value
Group allocated to the current Settlement Procedure.
• New Settlement Step Implementation for calculating Formula Profiles: Creating and adding a new custom step to
the Settlement Procedure which would calculate the static formula profile values. The calculations will show up in
the Settlement log.
• New Settlement Step Implementation for calculating 12-month History of settlement data: Creating and adding a
new custom step to the Settlement Procedure which would calculate the 12 months history of settlement data.
• FTP Profile Value Upload Program: Based on the Settlement Document, all the result profiles are determined and
are uploaded to the FTP Server with their values.

Objects Worked on:
• Regional Structure Data Cleansing: This included development of several programs to perform data cleansing for
the addresses (City Name, Street Name, and Postal Code) for Connection Objects, Premises and Business
Partners. At a time, correction was possible for several objects and different objects. The Rollback feature was also
added using which the entire change can be rolled back if customer has again made some mistakes in the names
or the code. High level OOPS ALV concepts were used to make the screen very user friendly and interactive. The
data cleansing was possible at two levels with one being ‘with reference to the regional structure’ and another
being ‘without any reference to the regional structure’.
• INVOIC IDoc EDIFACT Program: A new report program which will generate the EDIFACT file for IDoc type INVOIC
for Budget Billing as well as for the Print Document in *.txt format which can later be passed to Customer-specific
Tool which will read the details and will display them the data which has come in.

performed for a given period. It also displays the replacement reason with the first/last meter readings.

Objects Worked on:
• Master Data creation for New Supplier: This transaction creates a new business partner and the technical master
data around it and a corresponding Service Provider. A settlement unit is created which is assigned the same
virtual PoD which is allocated to the installation created. Based on configuration table, if needed; profiles are
allocated to different registers using which data will be shared with corresponding Settlement Coordinators.
• Virtual PoD Report: An ALV report was prepared to display all the virtual PoD related details about the high/low
level Settlement Units.
• Profile Value Download Report: A complex ALV report was created which displays the profiles with their values for
a certain period based on the Settlement Document/PoD/Profile Number selected from the selection screen(for
both Electricity/Gas).

5) Client: TWL, Ludwigshafen, Germany.

Objects Worked on:
• Device Replacement Implementation: End to end implementation of Device Replacement IDoc flow from one
system to another system and its consequences.
• ‘ETRANSF’ Transaction Up gradation: New layouts are added to the standard transaction and corresponding
configuration changes were implemented along with applying the suitable OSS Notes.
• UTILMD IDoc Monitoring Report: The report observes the different segments of the UTILMD IDocs and displays a
report showing the reasons and different qualifiers based on the EDIFACT format as specified by German
Government.
• ‘INVMON’ Transaction Validation Function Modules: The standard Function Modules from the configuration used
for a multiple-step validation in ‘INVMON’ before actual processing were modified as per the client system.
• Backup Supply Issue: When an IDoc is received with ‘Z03’ qualifier in a particular segment, backup supply needs
to be executed which should require user intervention. It was implemented in the Workflow used for ‘Change of
Supplier’ scenario.
• Several other issues related to the deregulated scenarios were resolved for the client.

6) Client: SW FFO, Frankfurt, Germany.

creates the goods movement based on various movement types.

data is coming from EDI.
• Conversion: Several conversion programs were created to upload data provided by legacy system as excel-sheet.

• Dialog Programming: Created a Z transaction which provides a screen to the user to give the flexibility in
calculating the consumption adjustments needed due to meter leakage and to provide him the option to correct it
based on calculated average.
• ALV Report: Created an ALV report which displays a list of all the amount/consumption adjustments (credits,
debits, fees, reversals and rebilling of contract accounts).
• Smart Form: Customer account statement for open items, four different High bill complaints follow up letters (Re-
read exam letter, High Bill Customer Response letter, Over-read Letter and Re-read Inline Letter.
• SAP Script: Created the Service Order and Quality Notification Shop Papers. It included various types of complex
Shop papers like Disconnection Service Order, Move In/Out Service Order, Miscellaneous Service Order, Meter
Service Order, Meter Test and Water Quality Notification which were later configured with the standard transaction.
• Outbound Interface: Create an interface which calculates the new installations created or the installation which
have been changed and send the relevant details to another system from SAP system.
