Plug Top Driver Data.
027-22065-0:- Encapsulated 24VDC, 250mA Plug top driver for use with the
Denison hydraulics flange mounted F5C flow control valve.
The unit will either accept an external signal of 0-10VDC or has an onboard voltage reference
generator for quick connection to a standard 10K potentiometer / joystick. There is an on-
board green LED which lights to indicate an output to the coil is present. Dither frequency is
fixed internally to suit the valve and only I Max adjustment is needed to limit the maximum
flow relative to the command input signal. Connections are made via the attached 3 metre, 4
core cable. The unit has an IP 67 seal rating.
All of the plug top drivers are fully encapsulated in flame proof resin, have met all of the current CE testing
requirements and come with full descriptive literature for quick successful application.
Plug Top Drivers
027-22066-0:- Encapsulated 24VDC, 800mA Plug top driver for use with the
Denison hydraulics VP01 (24v) Pressure control valve.
The unit will either accept an external signal of 0-10VDC or has an onboard voltage reference
generator for quick connection to a standard 10K potentiometer / joystick. There is an on-
board green LED which lights to indicate an output to the coil is present. Dither frequency is
fixed internally to suit the valve. Separate adjustments for Ramp UP and Ramp DOWN are
provided to allow smooth pressure control and only an I Max adjustment is then needed to
limit the maximum pressure relative to the command input signal. Connections are made via the
attached 3 metre, 4 core cable. The unit has an IP 67 seal rating.

Material Spreader Data.
027-22043-0:- The Material Spreader Controller has been designed
to allow full and simple control of two individual proportional and a
single ON/OFF hydraulic products to allow a complete system to be
controlled from one unit.
The unit has full diagnostic LED displays ( with dimmer option for night
operation ) for speed setting and all auxiliary features. Each proportional
channel has upto 16 speed settings available via the front panel heavy duty
rotary switch and the x1 or x2 speed select switch. The speeds for each
channel have only two adjustment potentiometers, one for minimum speed
and one for maximum speed with all other switch positions falling equally
between these two set-points.
This unit has met the current CE testing requirements and come with full descriptive literature for quick
successful application.
The channel designated as number one (1) has an extra position which allows a standard On/Off valve to be operated before
anything else to allow the pump to be brought on line. Facilities for a Blast function ( separately adjustable speeds for both
proportional channels activated by a push-and-hold switch ) and a material sensor with audio / visual alarm are both provided for.
For ease of application, pre-made connection cables for both power ( 027-22044-0 ) and valve / sensor connection ( 027-22045-0 )
are available for this unit. The housing is made from die-cast aluminium and the unit designed to be dropped into ( top mounting )
a simple rectangular cut-out in any panel. Electrical connections are all made via polarised and latching connectors on the rear
face of the housing.

Material Sensor Data.
027-22046-0:- This material Sensor unit has been designed to
operate continuously under the most arduous conditions involving
vibration, temperature extremes and corrosive spreading medium.
The sensor is constructed from a highly visible flexible red material which
allows for vibration absorption while keeping the internal electronics fully
sealed and protected from the external environment. This design frees the
user to select a mounting position for the sensor which suits the application
including the direct line of spread from the Spinner blades without causing
damage or malfunction.
The internal electronics are tuned to detect solid particles hitting the probe
while ignoring fluids. There are NO moving parts in the sensor to fail and with
the solid construction and materials used in manufacture, the life and
operational expectancy is excellent and will exceed present sensors of a
similar type. The unit comes complete with a 2 metre long high visibility
orange cable to maintain the units unique sealed structure.
The unit will operate from +10 to +30VDC and will interface with existing
spreader controllers or the Denison Hydraulics unit ( 027-22043-0 ).
This unit comes with full descriptive literature for quick successful application.

Other Products & Facilities.
In-House Test Equipment:-
A range of stand-alone test equipment has been designed to allow the user
to correctly connect a driver card to the chosen valve product and conduct
product proving testing.
One of the advantages of this unit is the robust, easy to use, foolproof design
which when combined with a reference card and valve can be used to allow
fast prototype system set-ups, Card set-up pre delivery to customer, card
checking for full functionality, valve operation proving e.t.c.
These units have the further advantage of being totally self contained and
need only the local mains supply ( 110/240 @ 50/60Hz selectable ) to allow
operation.
Local command is available on the front panel via a potentiometer as is an input for
an external command signal if desired. An emergency stop feature is also included
to ensure safe operation.
The user can select ramp On/Off ( if applicable ) as well as being able to see the status of the supply voltage and card supply via
two indicators. Main user monitor and signal input points are provided through 4mm socket test points on the unit rear face as
are the connections for the valve coils and where necessary, valve feedback inputs.

Other Products & Facilities.
This unit has been developed with the field / service engineer in
mind and will allow them to operate any open loop proportional
product ( 12 or 24V coils ) with no input from the host system.
The unit is powered from non leak gel-pak rechargeable batteries
( so it can be used in any position ) which will sustain a 12 volt coil
for upto 6 hours continuos usage.
The user can select dither frequency and monitor coil current. All
monitor / output points are via 4mm socket test points.
Voltage outputs(via 4mm socket test points ) for +24vdc, +15v & -
15v are also provided to allow auxiliary equipment to also be
powered from this unit if required.
The unit also incorporates a charging unit with voltage selectable
input ( 110/240Vac @ 50/60Hz ) and only need connecting to the
local mains supply for approx. 12 hours to be fully charged.
There is an Emergency stop feature on the test panel to ensure
operational safety as well as a low battery warning indicator.
