LMA APPOINTED EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR OF VYGON BOUSSIGNAC

CPAP SYSTEM FOR THE UNITED STATES

Singapore, 28 February 2012 Mainboard-listed LMA International N.V. (LMA or the Group),
the worlds market leader in the laryngeal mask airway range of supraglottic airway management
devices, today announced that its subsidiary, LMA North America, Inc. (LMA North America), has
signed an Exclusive Distributor Agreement (Agreement) with Vygon Corporation.

The Agreement appoints LMA North America as the exclusive distributor in the United States of the
Boussignac CPAP System range of products and accessories. The products provide continuous
positive airway pressure (CPAP) to patients experiencing respiratory distress with a completely open
system that is small, lightweight, and easy to use. The Agreement leverages LMA North Americas
strong sales and marketing capability in both the hospital and EMS settings and is in line with the
Groups strategy of providing high quality and innovative Airway Management devices to
anaesthesiologists and airway customers.

Vygon Corporation is a French Multinational company dealing in Single Use Sterile Disposable
