Pastors Notes:

The Lord continues to manifest

His presence among us in our
services. I stand in amazement
that a Holy God would come down among us and
bless us in the ways that He does. What a different service on Sunday..worship, testimonies,
people willingly stepping out to say I need some accountability partners and then others stepping
out to become those partners. God is truly moving!!!! Someone after the service said the Lord spoke
to them and said The Lord said the atmosphere is changing. GLORY TO GOD! That can happen
even in greater dimension when we come into the House of God with nothing else on our minds but
Him.when we have no other discussions than about Him.when our heart is turned towards
nothing else but Him. Then on Sunday night, we took our time to sing and PRAY. Theres a
thought.the church praying. Jesus said my House shall be called a House of Prayer. We often
spend more time taking prayer requests that we do praying for those requests. What we need are
prayers that elevate the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. We need prayers that build our
relationship with Him, convince Him that we really do love Him and that He is the most important
thing in our lives. Is He the most important thing in your life? If He is not #1, then it is time to pray.
If He is #1, then its time to pray.

This coming Wednesday evening at 7:00, our children & youth will be
coming into the sanctuary for us to pray over them before they start back
to school. This has been a practice of ours for many years.
Please be in the sanctuary promptly at 7:00 PM.

Then following the prayer, our Pastor Emeritus James Shealy will be continuing his series on
living a faithful life. He laid an awesome foundation last week, reminding us that the coming
of the Lord is near and how important living a faithful life is. Please do not miss the Wednesday
nights in August as he shares these important messages with us.

During August, I am bring a stewardship series
entitled eTithe. Our greatest blessing comes when
we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Other
blessing come our way because of obedient things we
do. Tithing & giving is one such practice that
absolutely brings the blessings of God. If you do not
tithe or have been inconsistent in tithing & giving, I
encourage you to begin to practice tithing & giving.
You will not be disappointed!

being the priest in the home.
