This event is FREE and will satisfy the 3 hour lactation management training requirement for the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative!

Target Audience: OB/GYNs and Pediatricians

Planners: Have no relevant financial/commercial support or conflict of interests to report.
There is no commercial support associated with this program.
Educational Objectives:
Physicians will be able to identify the importance of early referral to a lactation specialist.
Physicians will be able recite 3 risk factors for breastfeeding problems.
Physicians will be able to name 3 clinical skills any practitioner can use to support exclusive breastfeeding in
the early postpartum period.
Physicians will be able to create a timeline of critical lactation events occurring during the early postpartum
period.
