POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vice President of Human Resources reports to and works with the CEO to frame the
strategic plan, goals and expectations of the HR function. The position is responsible for the
execution of the HR business plan to ensure that the programs and practices further the goals
of the business The position is responsible for compensation planning, payroll, benefits,
performance management, employee relations, recruitment and retention, and compliance
with all applicable federal, state and local laws. In addition, The Vice President is actively
involved in acquisition due diligence and integration.
The HR VP will lead the HR team to ensure alignment with the needs of the business. The
position will promote operational efficiency and continuous improvement on standard HR
offerings. The VP is attentive to progressive and leading edge practices which when
implemented will have measureable impact on employees effectiveness.

There are nine direct reports to this position including two HR Business Partners, Payroll and
HRIS Manager, Payroll Administrator, Senior Benefits Specialist, Talent Acquisition Manager,
Talent Acquisition Associate, and HR Administrator

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's human resource
function and performance as a strategic partner.
Evaluate and advise on best practices for programs/strategies to ensure a positive impact
on the attraction, motivation, development and retention of the employees of
ConvergeOne.
Translate the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans
to ensure that the HR team has the systems and competencies to support aggressive
growth, both organically and through Acquisitions.
Utilize HR metrics, performance standards, dashboards, key performance indicators, and
HR best practices to support the decision making process.
Talent Management
In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Manager develop staffing strategies to identify
and attract talent using progressive approaches (social media, employee referrals, etc)
Develop programs to allow ConvergeOne to embrace applicants and employees of all
backgrounds and to permit the full development and performance of all employees.
(onboarding, certifications, performance management)
Systems to track technical certifications to support the RFP process and our position as an
industry leader with technical expertise.
Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent
gaps and develop specific programs for the filling of the gaps. Areas of activity will include:
o Talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor
and management positions,
o Training and development programs for preparing employees, specifically high
potentials, for more significant responsibilities.
Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, Recognition)
Develop and deliver progressive and competitive compensation and benefit programs to
ensure that ConvergeOne attracts and retain top talent.
Responsible for the benefits program from strategy development to design to
implementation, while striking the proper balance between cost and market
competiveness.
Compensation framework
o Provide design guidance for merit pay, bonus and incentive programs
o Build out compensation programs to ensure alignment with meritocracy philosophy,
competitive pay, consistent practices, and the proper balance of base earnings and
incentive opportunities.

Systems, Policies and Technology
Continuous evaluation and incremental improvements of all the programs, policies,
practices and processes associated with meeting the strategic and day to day people
issues of the organization.
Identify and implement technology forward solutions based on a strong business case and
ROI that will result in improvement of the overall effectiveness of the HR team, employees
and business operations
Manage the human resource information systems (HRIS) and databases to ensure
accurate payroll processing, business reporting and analysis and easy access for
employees and managers.
Oversight of payroll processing
o Bi-weekly payroll
o Monthly commission calculations and payments
o Quarterly and annual bonus programs
Develop appropriate policies and programs for effective management of the people
resource, including, but not limited to the following programs- employee handbooks,
affirmative action plans, sexual harassment prevention, performance improvement plans
Acquisitions (A key component of ConvergeOnes growth strategy)
Lead the HR team through all facets of the acquisition process from frontend due diligence
through successful integration.

QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate will possess a bachelors degree; a Masters degree in business or
HR related degree is preferred. This individual will have a minimum of ten years progressive
experience leading all aspects of the HR function. He/She will also have direct experience with
the full cycle acquisition process from due diligence through integration.
It is vital that the VP of Human Resources Strong possess technology and HR application
knowledge and is well versed in the needs and business dynamics of dynamic technology
forward company.
The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual who possesses a strategic general
business focus as well as an operational, implementation and detail oriented perspective. The
ability to relate to people at all levels of the organization and maintain a positive team
orientation is essential. This individual will be skilled at gathering, assessing and sharing
information, and will serve as a coach, mentor and facilitator. This key position requires an
ability to communicate effectively on complex topics to employee groups and experience
supporting and presenting business rationale to senior leaders.


COMPENSATION

The compensation for this position is highly competitive and consists of a base salary,
management bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits program.
