Using the Portfolio Template for Washington State Standards

Below are sample projects and evidence of student learning for interns who are having trouble
determining a project. Please help by adding in other samples so that this document can be more
robust. Evidence should be 3-5 pages of clear evidence, rather than a volume of material for each
standard.

district building
populations; defined the
work to be completed and
outlined processes to
ensure success; established
protocols; periodically
reviewed curricular guides;
and assisted with
communication through
feedback sheets and
meeting notes.
data on student growth
using assistive technology

Example 3: Power Point
presentation of original
MCAT meeting, agendas,
feedback forms, fifth grade
curricular guide (weaker
data for a strong project

schools crisis plan by
creating various checklists,
flowcharts, and procedures
to further clarify and refine
the processes for
Example 1: Teacher
feedback collected
throughout the year,
student feedback and
reflection, correlation to
State MSP scores.

Example 2: Teacher
feedback, data in early
stages with new model
