WRITE-UP GUIDELINES
FOR GRADUATING SENIORS & SUPERSENIORS
Stories Untold
AEGIS 2015:
Stories Untold
Whether explicitly stated or slightly hidden between
the art of articulation and expression, a vast plethora of
experiences, memories, perspectives, and emotions are
contained in stories. As social beings, sharing and imparting
what has transpired is a fundamental part of everyday life.
This years theme aims to highlight your narratives and
anecdotes, what you have collected from the years you
spent as a student of the Loyola Schools. We want you to
reect on the events that left a mark on you -- from what a
certain professor said in a class to eeting moments with the
friends youve made during your stay.
The yearbook will serve as a chronicler, an old friend who will
remind you of who you were at a certain point in your life and
who will show you how you got to where you are now.
To aid you in that daunting task of putting everything into
writing, the Aegis team has put together the following set of
guidelines to choose from:
A rst person narrative recounting your fondest
memory, your unique experiences, or an event that
changed you as a student in the Ateneo.
An anecdote from someone you have profoundly
shared your stay with in Ateneoa story that
encompasses your true self and how this has
touched others
A day in your life, reecting the struggles and the
things that kept you strong through the years.

Maybe you have grown older since this photo was taken.
As you read this, remember those days in college when
you said, Ive had enough. Still, you know that in between
AISIS enlistments and heartbreaks, better things are ahead.
Laughing at how you went to school with mismatched socks,
remembering the encouraging words of a stern prof, and
feeling elated when you met your crushyou were always
optimistic. In times of disappointments, you look back at
these simple moments when you asked for nothing more.
Hopefully, thats something that remained in you over time.

I have poured bits of myself into the nooks and crannies of
the Ateneo, much so that I am a result of all the sleepless
nights and immeasurable highs. I am grateful that I have
been able to rediscover the world through the countless
people I have met and the experiences I have encountered. I
am the girl who went to the library in mismatched socks and
then sometimes, I was the heckler at Upper Box A.

If you asked me to dene who I am today, the truth is that it
would be rather difcult. Knowing that nothing ever stays the
same, I wholeheartedly embrace what will come to be, as
today, I celebrate all that I am.
