EMT REFRESHER COURSE

EMT REFRESHER COURSE

Class is Limited to 24 Students

Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) is pleased to be able to offer the only
100% online EMT Refresher Course in the Commonwealth. This 24-
Hour EMT Refresher online course is designed for currently certified
EMTs as well as those certified by the National Registry of Emergency
Medical Technicians (NREMT) who may need a 24-Hour EMT Refresher.

This course will be delivered in sections where the student will complete
10 hours of contentavailable anytime onlineas well as distance
classes delivered by EKU professors. The live sessions will be online
from 1830 until 2030 (EST) on Tuesdays. Students must complete both
the online content as well as the live sessions. Attendance is mandatory
for the online live sessions.

Students may choose from two initial sets of dates:

November 4, 2014December 16, 2014

February 3, 2015March 17, 2015

Requirements


As this course is offered completely online,
students should ensure they have the
required technology before registering
for the course.


Technology Requirements are as follows:

Computer connected to high-speed
internet.

Google Chrome, or Firefox (Internet
Explorer is not appropriate for this
course).

Audio speakers or Headset along with a
quiet room for the live online sessions
which will be conducted via
GoToMeeting.com.

An active email account which you check
frequently.
