Ensure instrument air compressor in service and header pressure normal. Ensure Main MOVs panel supply incomers available. Ensure CRH to ASH MIV and its BYPASS MIV is in CLOSED condition. Ensure CRH to ASH MOV power supply ON and CLOSED condition. Ensure CRH to ASH control valve is operating and CLOSED condition Ensure MS to ASH MIV in CLOSED condition. Ensure MS to ASH PCV air line charge condition Ensure MS to ASH control valve is operating and CLOSED condition. Ensure MS to ASH Spray control valve operating and CLOSED condition (I/L MIV in open condition) Ensure adjacent units ASH interconnection MOVs CLOSED condition. Ensure ASH interconnecting MOVs to other units CLOSE condition and its drain to atmosphere OPEN condition. Ensure other unit ASH pressure normal and its CRH control valve in auto with set point 8.0 Kg/cm2 Ensure ASH to Mill line main MIV CLOSED condition. Ensure ASH to Dearator Main MIV close and MOV power supply ON and CLOSE condition. Ensure ASH to DEA control valve CLOSE condition Ensure ASH drains to Flash tank OPEN Condition. Ensure ASH header pressure gauge is lined up.And also Ensure ASH drains to flash tank is open condition POST START Confirm from local operator that APRDS header normal condition: a) No abnormal sound. b) No steam and water Leakage. Maintain header pressure & Temperature Description Slowly open the adjacent unit ASH interconnecting MOV towards charging unit from that end. Slowly open the ASH interconnecting valve in this side after condensate is drained. Observe the ASH pressure in local gauge. Further slowly open the adjacent unit ASH interconnecting MOV towards charging unit from that end. (Monitor the CRH to ASH control valve opening and header pressure) Further open the ASH interconnecting valve in this side and charge up to the rated pressure. STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE 2.3 System charging from adjacent unit Auxiliary Steam Header: Throttle the ASH drains so as to achieve the rated temperature of ASH. Interconnecting line drain line steam trap to be LINED UP and open to atmosphere line drain to be CLOSED. Required parameters are: Pressure: 10.5 Kg/cm2 Temperature: 320 0 C The same procedure to be followed for charging from the other unit. When the CRH pressure reaches 15 Kg/cm2, CRH steam can supply ASH a)OPEN after PCV drain to atmosphere. b)OPEN CRH to ASH MOV and drain the condensate. c)OPEN CRH to ASH MIV. d)Take the CRH to ASH pressure control valve into auto with set point 10.0 Kg. Description Ensure boiler in lighted up condition and main steam parameter meet the requirement of Auxiliary steam system. Ensure at least one CEP in running condition. Ensure MS to ASH line before PCV drain open condition. Ensure MS to ASH line after control valve drain to atmosphere open condition. After draining the condensate OPEN the main MIV. Gradually OPEN the after MIV control valve and drain the condensate Open the LT APRDS main MOV and its header drain Control the ASH pressure & temperature with help of control valve and spray control valve. Both before MOV and after control valve drain line steam trap to be LINED UP and CLOSE the direct drain. When the CRH pressure reaches 1.6 Mpa, CRH steam can supply ASH a)OPEN after PCV drain to atmosphere. b)OPEN CRH to ASH MOV and drain the condensate. c)OPEN CRH to ASH MOV. d)Take the CRH to ASH pressure control valve into auto with set point 10.5 Kg 3 System charging with only one unit running: Ensure all PTWs related to ASH of all maintenance department stands cancelled and system is ready for charging. Jindal India Thermal power Limited, Derang, Angul, Odisha (2x600 MW TPP) 3.0 APRDS Stop Procedure No. Activity 1 Close ASH to DEA line control valve and its MOVs and OPEN all drains. 2 Close ASH to Mill line MIV, MOV and OPEN all drains 3 Close CRH to ASH MIV, MOV and its control valve and OPEN all drains. 4 Close MS to ASH MIV and PCV OPEN all drains. 5 Close interconnecting MOVs of others units and OPEN the I/C drains to atmosphere. 6 Full Open drains of ASH header. 7 Observe the header depressurization and hand tight the MOVs in this end. 4 STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE 4.0 4.1 No. 1 2 4 5 6 Note: 5 Follow recommended procedure to issue PTW,isolation & nomalisation STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE JINDAL INDIA THERMAL POWER LTD.(2*600 MW)DERANG ANGUL Isolation pocedure /safety aspects(PTW) Isolation procedure ofAPRDS Description Isolate the MS Line to PRDS Isolate the CRH Line to PRDS Isolate spray line from CEP Discharge for LT PRDS Isolate the spray line from BFP Discharge to HTPRDS Open Drains of all steam line 5.0 No. 1 2 1 1 1 2 1 1 6 STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE JINDAL INDIA THERMAL POWER LTD.(2*600 MW)DERANG ANGUL Emergency operation of APRDS Description Case 1.:PRDS pressure high/low Causes: Effect: Action: Case 2.:PRDS temp high/low Causes: Effect: Action: Jindal India Thermal power Limited, Derang, Angul, Odisha (2x600 MW TPP) STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE 7.0 Reference No. Description Feeder 1 BOILER O & M manual 8
