CAREER HISTORY & ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Chief Financial Officer, FSC Marketing Communications, 2000-Present. Report to CEO with $50M P&L
responsibility. Manage policy, develop financial modeling, oversee accounting, IT, human resources and other
functions. Developed and implemented 10-year business plan, leading to revenue growth from $25M to $50M.
Other contributions in systems development, office consolidation and profit improvement. Contributions include:
Developed and implemented 10-year business model. Company needed new roadmap to focus
growth. Developed and implemented clearly-defined business strategy including sales & marketing
objectives, staffing plans, financial performance metrics and other functions. Company increased
annual sales from $25M to $50M.
Replaced outdated hardware & systems, saving $500K annually. FSC Marketing Communications
found that production and communications issues were hurting productivity. Developed plans to

Developed new 401K and employee profit-sharing plan. Company planned to implement

Designed standardized pricing structure. SCC wanted to improve pricing processes. Developed
new pricing structure template by researching costs of three top competitors. Applied various cost
accounting models to best determine set pricing controls. Exceeded goal by 8%, producing $150K in
additional profit.
Controller, Exhibit Group/Giltspur Promotions, 1993-1996. Promoted to cash management position for Tradeshow
Division with $4M P&L responsibility. Recruited as Production Manager. Among personal contributions:
Designed and installed estimating/job costing system. Company needed new estimating/job
costing system. Developed and implemented an installed new automated system with built-in markups
for outside services and complete scheduling tracking. Project improved project profitability 14% and
increased billable hours 25%, generating profit gain of $325K.
Earlier: Early career experience at Perspectives, Inc. as a Estimator & Purchasing Agent. Started career with The
Sugar Loaf Agency in Creative Production. Accomplishments from those years include:
Implemented new inventory and purchasing systems. Perspectives inventory/purchase order
systems needed upgrading. Initiated and implemented systems to reduce a $400K inventory without
slowing down production. Cut inventory nearly 20% and eliminated duplicate ordering/payments.

Designed new employee evaluation and compensation system. The Sugarloaf Agency lacked
formal employee review systems. Developed new employee evaluation system & bonus program that
showed employees how their work tied into overall business performance. Estimates showed $375K
profit improvement first year.
Education: LaRoche College (BS in Administration/Management and a BS in Graphics Arts Management)
Education: Received full, four-year baseball scholarship (Team Captain for two years) and graduated
from LaRoche College with a BS degree in Graphics Arts Management.
