Compact enclosures with mounting strips on the door for fast attachment of
support strips, cable conduit holders and covers. The door has an opening
angle of 130 (180 by request) and the rear panel is supplied with holes
prepared for wall mounting bracket or direct wall mounting, The single doors
are hinged on the right, but it is possible to swap these to the left on all except
the 200mm wide enclosures. The multi-folded enclosure protection channel
prevents dirt and water entering when the door is opened, there is also a PE
conductor connection facility on the enclosure, door and mounting plate. The
gland plates, which are made from sheet steel for self-assembly, may be
exchanged for pre-punched plates or plastic gland plates.

Terminal boxes with screw-fastened lid and profile strips with mounting holes
on both sides for the installation of cross rails or mounting plate. Cover may be
opened and securely locked in a flash, with a quick-action screw. Quarter turn
instead of thread ensures correct contact pressure of the seal. Available with or
without gland plates (enclosures with gland plates include sheet steel gland plates
with seals and assembly parts).
The KL range . . .
Compact system enclosures which combine the case benefits of the AE
compact enclosure with the installation diversity of the TS8 top enclosure
system. They are an excellent alternative to the larger enclosures in the AE
series. The single doors are hinged on the right, but it is possible to swap these
to the left. The enclosures are supplied with a mounting plate and open base
for individual cable entry.

These enclosures consist of two side panels and a roof that are made from one
piece of sheet steel, the rear panel of the enclosure is screwed on for easy
access and cable entry can be handled in a variety of ways using the integrated
base frame. The door and rear wall are electrically bonded to the enclosure
using a patented hardware system that requires no separate ground straps. The
two mounting levels integrated into the enclosure provide more room for
options, making better use of space while reducing installation time. The
enclosures are available as one and two door versions, the single doors are
hinged on the right, but it is possible to swap these to the left. The enclosed
basic frame helps to reduce debris and dirt collection making cleaning easier.
The enclosures are highly stable thanks to the self-supporting, integrated frame
construction. All standard TS8 accessories are compatible.

The TS8 floor standing enclosure is a baying system with a variety of mounting
possibilities. The strength and flexibility of these enclosures come from their
robust 16 fold, tubular frame which features a 25mm hole pattern that allows
components and accessories to be mounted horizontally or vertically. They
can support loads of up to 3,200lb. Combined with the included zinc-plated
mounting panel, the TS8 provides 15% more interior mounting space than
similar enclosures. Due to its modular design it is easily adaptable to your
unique requirements, each vertical section is able to accommodate the
hinges for an enclosure panel, ensuring the units are bayable on all sides.
The rear panel can easily be exchanged for a door and both side panels may
be hinged. The TS8 can protect critical equipment in even the most
demanding environments.

Trim panels at the front and rear with fitted
corner pieces and side trim panels.
Base/plinth
All screws, nuts, contact washers and
earthing strips needed to earth the cover.
Plinth which acts as a pallet once installed,
eliminating the need for a wooden pallet,
making it easy to move the enclosure
around. Tool-less assembly once the
corner blocks have been fitted.
With pre-punched holes (metric or PG) for
cable glands. Used for sealing standard
gland plates.
Temperature range: -40 to +70C
The gland and locknut are supplied in a
single pack, they have clamping
membranes for even tightening and strain
relief which protects the cables. Insulation
is via a plastic insert with optimum seal on
the connection thread thanks to the
O-ring. The locknut cuts automatically into
the spray finish, creating a conductive
connection.
For mounting in the enclosure. Suitable
for mounting on the sides, base and roof
areas.
For attaching to the enclosure from the
outside. Supplied with assembly parts.

approved for use with foodstuffs.
Easily fitted without drilling and allows the
covers to be opened upwards, even when
the terminal box below is bayed.
The cover hinge is simply screwed to the
enclosure protection channel and to the
edge fold.
For strain relief with cable entry. The
length of the cable clamp rail is tailored to
the width of the mounting plate. The
supplied mounting bracket can be
installed straight or tilted.
