Knowledge is the root of enhancing our society, but it can be a burden as well.

There are few

examples from literature classics as well as historical events. Among those famous examples are: the
book Frankenstein, Galileo Galilei, and the famous Edward Snowden.
The character of Victor Frankestein ein the book Frankenstein demonstrates how knowledge
can sometimes be a burden. depicts the story of how a scientist used knowledge to create a monster.
The famous book Frankenstein talks about Dr. Victor Frankenstein, a scientist who came up with the
idea to create life, tried to be God by using his superior knowledge of science. However, although Dr.
Frankestein was successful in his goal of creating life, it ultimately lead to an immense burden on him
because he had to be responsible for his invention. Victor went out and stole body parts from various
cemetery, he then assembled them to create a seven feet tall monster. Victor brought his invention
back to life using high voltage from the thunder under a stormy night. The monster brought him a
different aspect about life. Frankenstein (as the invention was named) went out and killed several
people, and found itself different from other. After Victor died, Frankenstein suicide and left behind an
assertion: to end my suffering, solitude, anger, and hatred Victor Frankenstein maybe smart, but
he created a life-form who suffered from loneliness and went out killed several lives. Thus, using
knowledge can create outweighing results.
Edward Snowdens discovery of the NSAs secret spying program also illustrates how knowledge
can sometimes be a burden. was the man who discovered something he that made him felt guilty, and
he now has to hide from the people who hate him. Mr. SnowdenEdward used to work for NSA, and he
found out they were collecting datae from peoples personal laptops, websites, as well as social media.
Once he obtained this knowledge, it was a great burden on him. He ultimately felt that it was his civic
duty to release the information to the public and he did so. However, Mr. Snowden paid severely for his
choice since he is now hiding in Russia and cannot return to his homeland without being prosecuted by
the government for the high crime of treason.
The invention of the atomic bomb during World War II depicts how knowledge can be a burden.
Although nuclear energy has great value to the human race, the The atomic bomb during World War
two was the result of testing uranium and nuclear energy. Sadly, the Americans dropped those bombs
down to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, with the belief of stopping World War II. However, both of the bombs
leveled those cities to the ground and left massive ruins and radiation leaks that killed thousands of
Japanese.

[conclusion]
In conclusion, it is clear that the notions show knowledge can sometimes be a burden. It can
create pain like Frankenstein, lost freedom like Edward He the felt guilty and released this information
or public to see. He had fled t Russia and hide from American government. The information took away
Edwards freedom, I proved that knowledge can sometimes be a burden.
