DISCIPLESHIP
ADULT SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL: Join us
each week, at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship
Hall. Next week, August 30, Brian Baird will
lead the class, and Kaete Unterzuber will be
leading the class on September 6.
CONNECTIONS CLASS: is open to all ages;
it is a discussion-based class, which
encourages participation from attendees.
This year’s main topic is that of prayer: how
we pray, how we can pray, and, of course,
praying. Class is fun and engaging. We
welcome you to visit or join!
CLASSES FOR CHILDREN: Children’s classes
will continue to meet in their respective
rooms at the usual times. We offer creative
classes designed to help all our children
know and follow Christ in all of life.

FELLOWSHIP
COMMUNITY GROUPS: In Community
Groups we seek to live life together under
the gospel as we build relationships with
God, each other, and our neighbors. Join
us each Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in the Social
Room as we gather for fellowship, Bible
study, and prayer, followed by a meal. There
is also a group just for men that meets on
the first, third, and fifth Tuesdays at the
home of Brian Baird, 1704 Hanover
Avenue. We usually listen to and talk about
a sermon, catch up on life, and pray for
each other. This is an open group. For more

RICHMOND CHRISTIAN STUDY CENTER:
Conference coming up beginning this Friday
evening (August 28) at 7:00 p.m. at Third
Presbyterian Church, with guest speaker Ken
Myers of Mars Hill, Charlottesville. The
conference will continue of Saturday
morning, from 9:00-11:45 a.m., with guest
speaker Dr. Amy Sherman of Charlottesville.

COMMUNITY HOUSE: Food donations may

MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST: CALL FOR
VOLUNTEERS! October 18-24, 2009, are
the dates of the next mission trip led by

HONDURAS 2010: The next mission trip to
Honduras is scheduled for January 10-16,
