We have plans for a communion

and water baptism service on

Sunday evening, November 2nd. If
you know that you have been born
again and need to follow the Lord in believers baptism, please call
the church office between 9-1 and give our secretary your name.
Every born again believer needs to be baptized in water. We look
forward to a great time together on that night.

Miracle on Poole Street on Dec. 6- This event is geared toward the
unchurched in our area. They will be fed a meal and the gospel will
be presented. Everyone will leave with a gift! This was a successful
event last year, and we are hoping for an
even larger harvest this year! If you are
interested in helping with "Miracle on
Poole Street", please see Todd or Vickie.

The Choir & Media Department will present "This is Christmas"
on Dec. 7 at 6:00 pm. "This is Christmas" will be something to invite
family, friends, and co-workers to. It will include fun Christmas songs,
moving video, lots of new choir songs (plus a couple of favorites from
years past), and more! Most importantly, the gospel of Jesus Christ
will be presented in a powerful way. The choir is working very hard
to make this night the very best it can be!

TOY CLOSETWe are still needing a few items for the toy closet,
such as: Perfume/Cologne, Purses/Wallets, Movies/DVDs, Board
games, & Jewelry (Boys and Girls). We need the Toy Closet fully
stocked by Mid November. All Toy Closet recipients are required to
attend Miracle on Poole Street that way we not only help them with
Christmas but we make sure they get a nice meal, hear the Word of
God, experience the love of the WCOG, and possibly win many more
gifts and prizes. We want them to leave with their stomachs full, their
hearts full and their hands full. Thanks to everyone who has given in
any way!!

ATTN: JOY Club- We will be combining our Thanksgiving and
Christmas Joy Club meetings this year. The date is Dec. 11 and
the time is 6:30 PM. Please mark your calendar and plan to be part
of this annual event. The meal will be catered at no cost to you but if
you sign up we do expect you to show up because we will have to
pay based on the number who sign up.

November 2014
As we enter the month of November, lets do so with a renewed sense
of Thanksgiving! I have been preaching the Wednesday nights of Octo-
ber about the things that we should be thankful for and that we should
praise and bless the Lord for. So far, weve talked about thanking and
blessing Him for His Name, His wonderous works and for His Bene-
fits. We have so much for which to be thankful. When we talked about
His benefits, we talked about the facts that He satisfies our mouth with
good things. One rendering says that He fills our lives with good
things. Listen, we all have troubles, trials and tribulations. Sometimes
they are short lived and other times they are long lived. But we must
never allow our circumstances and trials to blind us from all the good
things that God has put in our lives. Do you have a roof over your
head? Do you have some kind of food in your cabinets? Do you have
clothes to wear, shoes on your feet? Do you have friends that add val-
ue to your life? Do you have family that love and care for you? GOD
HAS FILLED OUR LIVES WITH GOOD THINGS! Amen? So this No-
vember, please be mindful of Gods many blessings in your lives. Take
time to not only be thankful, but to take the blessings God has given you
and use them to bless others. You will never know the blessings that
come when you bless someone. Bless the
Lord Oh my soul and all that is within me, bless
His holy name!
