We remember that all of us are united in the communion of saints. In death, life is changed, not ended. Through the eyes of faith we can see on the other side of the Eucharistic table altar, the saints in heaven at the heavenly banquet. Take time during meals this week to give thanks and remember by name and in story our loved ones who have died.

St. Augustine Happenings Sincere thanks to Frank and Paula Maggio for their generosity in cooking for the Parish Dinner. Frank's sauce and meatballs were delicious! Thank you also to those who provided a dessert and those who helped with the setup, serving, and cleanup. Many hands made light work. This may have been the smoothest running dinner yet. Fellow parishioners: These dinners are not meant to be fundraisers, rather opportunities to spend time with one another in a relaxing atmosphere enjoying a good homemade meal. Please consider coming in January for our Ethnic Dinner.
Magnifikid - Parents of young children, I want to draw your attention to a wonderful opportunity for you to answer your call by the Rite of Baptism to be the first teachers of your children in the ways of the faith. Through generous donors whom I appreciate very much we are making available to you a free monthly worship aid called Magnifikid. It is a wonderful way for your children and you to pray at Mass, have a greater understanding of the Mass and grow as disciples of Jesus. It is filled with prayers and fun activities to engage your children. We will make two weeks available at a time on a card table just inside the back entrance of the church. The copies once again are free. Christs Peace! Fr. David Majikas
