Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

If I am in Christ I am a new creation; old things have passed

away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:17
These signs shall follow me if I believe.
Mark 16:17
I will give and it shall be given; good measure, pressed down,
shaken together and running over shall it be given back to me.
Luke 6:38

God knows we like to find things out for ourselves so He has

hidden the answers to our lives within Himself.

Proverbs 25:2, It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but
the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

God has all our answers. As we grow closer to Him we begin to

know and understand the plans He has for our lives. His plans
are for us to do well and be peaceful; to have a future and a hope.
We do not always understand Gods ways of doing things, but
we can trust Him to lead us the right way. Its important to listen
carefully for His instructions. The plans God had for a man named
Zechariah were too hard for him to believe so God caused him to
become mute for a short time while God put the plan into action.
Another man, Elijah, also needed help understanding his life. In
Kings 19, Elijah was used by God to destroy false gods. Right after
this great victory, he became afraid and discouraged. God took
him to a place to rest and be quiet. God knew that in this safe
place Elijah would hear him and get the answers he needed to do
the Lords work. Paul found answers in his dream. God wants us
to come to Him for the answers we need.
