1.

ACT ONE
INT. THE NURSERY - DAY
The Muppets are gathered around BUNSEN and BEAKER, who are
standing in front of what appears to be an elevator. There
are different color lights flashing all over the box. Camera
goes closer in on Bunsen, Beaker, and the box.
BUNSEN
Beaker and I have finally created
something that will change the world.
Closer on KERMIT.
KERMIT
Wow, what is it?
Angle on PIGGY.
PIGGY
It looks fancy.
Angle on Bunsen and Beaker
BUNSEN
What we have here is a once in a
lifetime invention. My proudest
achievement.
Beaker nods his head quickly in agreement. Angle on ROWLF.
ROWLF
Come on, what is it already?
Angle on SKEETER and SCOOTER.
SKEETER
Yeah, we cant handle the excitement
anymore!
SCOOTER
I need to know!
Angle on Bunsen, Beaker, and the box.
BUNSEN
What we have here, is the worlds
first completely functional time
machine.
Widen to show Kermit, Piggy, Rowlf, Skeeter, Scooter, GONZO
and FOZZIE.

2.

FOZZIE
Thats amazing! Maybe I can take it
back to last week before I ate too
much and got a tummy ache.
MUPPETS
Fozzie!
Closer on Piggy.
PIGGY
Thats not the type of thing a time
machine is used for.
Angle on Bunsen.
BUNSEN
That is correct Piggy. Now would like
to be the first, other than us, to try
it out?
Widen on the other muppets.
PIGGY
I want to go to the 1700s and be
Queen of a country, with hundreds of
servants.
ROWLF
I want to go to the 1950s and
discover Rock and Roll.
FOZZIE
I want to go to Jupiter!
Fozzie immediately realizes the stupidity of his comment and
looks ashamed.
FOZZIE (CONT'D)
Nevermind.
Angle on the Nursery door. It opens and NANNY enters.
NANNY
Hey kids, I made cookies. Come and get
them.
Nanny places a plate of cookies on a small table by the door.
Widen on the entire nursery. The muppets cheer and start
running towards the cookies. ANIMAL jumps up from behind the
time machine and ends up knocking it over, breaking it into
lots of small pieces.

3.

Bunsen and Beaker are shocked, Beaker squeals. The other

muppets are grabbing cookies. Close on Piggy, who has grabbed
as many cookies as she can hold and is shoving them in her
mouth. Widen to see Bunsen pacing back and forth, muttering
angrily. Beaker is shaking his sideways still making his
strange noises. Close on Piggy.
PIGGY
These are delicious!
Widen to show Piggy, Skeeter, and Scooter.
SKEETER
Nanny always makes the best cookies.
Widen to show the entire nursery. Bunsen begins to walk over,
Beaker is following. Bunsens voice has now completely
changed. It is deep, authoritative, and slightly sinister.
Bunsen stops in the middle of the nursery.
BUNSEN
Everyone. Gather around.
Close on the other muppets. They look towards Bunsen. Widen
to show the entire nursery. The other muppets walk over.
Close on Kermit.
KERMIT
Hey, whats wrong?
Angle on the shattered time machine. The muppets gasp O.S.,
Back to the entire nursery.
SKEETER
Your time machine, its ruined.
Bunsen begins pacing slowly.
BUNSEN
For ages I have sat idly while you
allow this monster to run amok in this
nursery. That ends today.
The other muppets look at each other, confused.
GONZO
(to the others)
What is Bunsen talking about?
BUNSEN
If someone wants to behave like an
animal, they will be treated like one.
(MORE)

BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Beaker, please place this animal
inside of the toy chest.

4.

Close on Beaker who walks over to Animal, grabs his arms and
lifts him up. Animal begins to flail and get loose to no
avail. Beaker walks over to the toy chest, and places him
inside. He then closes it. Angle on Bunsen.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Kermit, the key.
Angle on Kermit.
KERMIT
Gee, I dont know.
Angle on Bunsen.
BUNSEN
(stern and forceful)
Kermit. The key.
Widen to the entire nursery.
KERMIT
(startled)
O-ok.
Kermit reaches into his pocket, hand shaking, and takes out a
key. Bunsen walks over and snatches it out of his hand. He
walks back to the toy chest where Beaker his holding the toy
chest closed. Clawing, pounding, and screaming can be heard
from inside. Bunsen uses the key to lock the toy chest and
places it in his robe pocket. Close on Skeeter and Piggy.
PIGGY
Why are you doing that Bunsen, its
wrong!
SKEETER
Yeah, Animal is just a baby.
Angle on Bunsen in front of the toy chest. Bunsen puts his
arms on the top of the toy chest and puts his head down.
BUNSEN
(chuckling)
Just a baby.
Bunsen turns around to face the other muppets.

5.

BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Just a baby? Were all babies are we
not?
Widen to the entire nursery. Bunsen begins walking toward the
center of the room where the other muppets are standing.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
But weve learned to adapt to our
surroundings and to those around us.
This nursery is our home. We cant
allow one bad seed that refuses to
follow the rules weve established
destroy what weve all worked so hard
for.
PIGGY
What youre doing is cruel!
GONZO
Yeah, none of us would ever lock you
away.
Close on Bunsen. He is becoming irritated. He puts his hands
on his head.
BUNSEN
Thats because I have not done
anything to warrant that type of
response from you all. If someone
threatens the foundations of this
nursery, they should be dealt with in
the proper manner.
Widen on the nursery.
PIGGY
Well it still doesnt give you any
right.
Close on Bunsen. Bunsen sighs.
BUNSEN
I need a cookie.
Bunsen snaps his fingers.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Beaker.
Angle on Beaker. Beaker shuffles towards the table where the
cookies were placed. The plate is empty.

6.

Beaker grabs the plate and turns around, shaking it to show

Bunsen that there is nothing left. Angle on Fozzie.
FOZZIE
Sorry Bunsen, looks like they all got
eaten.
Angle on Bunsen.
BUNSEN
(chuckling)
My goodness.
Widen on the nursery.
ROWLF
We didnt mean to, I guess it just
happened.
BUNSEN
Lets see. There were 10 of us in all,
correct?
Close on Fozzie. He starts counting on his fingers.
FOZZIE
1, 2, um...
Widen on the nursery.
BUNSEN
If youll all allow, I will continue.
My apologies, Fozzie. We cant all
wait around while you fumble with
something as simple as counting, only
for you to inevitably make some
asinine comment in the end anyway.
FOZZIE
(sad)
Oh, alright.
BUNSEN
10 of us in all. Beaker and I were in
the back lamenting over our freshly
destroyed time machine. That leaves 8.
The cookie recipe that Nanny uses has
a yield of 16 cookies in all, and she
normally makes 2 batches before
presenting them to us.
KERMIT
That sounds about right.

BUNSEN
So am I to believe that the 8 of you
individually consumed 4 cookies each
within a matter of a minute?
Close on Scooter.
SCOOTER
Well...
Widen on the nursery.
BUNSEN
Scooter. Skeeter. I understand the
your bellies are always visible, but I
assume that is because of your
parents inability to purchase
clothing that will fit you properly.
Close on Skeeter
SKEETER
(looking down)
Times have been kind of tough.
Widen on the nursery.
BUNSEN
I dont believe you two have the
ability, nor the gluttonous
disposition to eat that amount of
cookies in that amount of time.
ROWLF
It was Piggy.
Bunsen turns his head in Rowlfs direction.
BUNSEN
Excuse me?
Close on Ralph.
ROWLF
It was Piggy. I saw her shoving as
many cookies as she could into her
mouth. She was grabbing more before
she even started chewing some of them.
Angle on bunsen

BUNSEN
(laughing)
The pig. What a surprise.
Angle on Piggy. She is blushing. Angle on Rowlf.
ROWLF
(obligatorily)
Sorry Piggy.
Widen on the nursery. Bunsen begins to pace again.
BUNSEN
(to Piggy)
So youre telling me that you gorged
yourself on cookies that did not
belong to you, not the first time Im
sure, leaving less than their share
for the others, mere crumbs for Beaker
and I, and you still have the audacity
to speak to me with an air of moral
superiority?
Close on Piggy. She is still blushing. Widen on the nursery.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Id like to thank you Rowlf, for your
honesty. Apparently that is a trait
that is becoming less and less common
in this nursery.
Close on Rowlf. He gives Bunsen a nod. Widen on the nursery.
Bunsen begins walking towards the closet.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
From this moment on, all cookies,
pastries, and assorted baked goods
will go to me, and I will distribute
them accordingly.
Bunsen turns around and faces the other muppets.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
No longer will the pig try to assert
her power over us. Eat all of our
cookies. Harass Kermit, who has made
it plainly clear that he is not
interested in her advances. There are
going to be some changes around here.
The rest of the muppets are silent, all looking at Bunsen.
Angle behind Bunsen. Bunsen opens the door to the closet.

BUNSEN (CONT'D)
I will be in my quarters. I am not to
be disturbed.
Beaker shuffles quickly behind as they enter the closet. The
door closes behind them. The rest of the muppets form a
circle.
SKEETER
Sheesh, whats gotten into him?
FOZZIE
Yeah, he sure was mad about those
cookies.
GONZO
I guess if someone ate my cookies, Id
be pretty upset too. Theres nothing
better than Nannys cookies.
PIGGY
A lady of high society, such as
myself, needs to have a full figure to
show how special she is. Thats the
only reason I had all those cookies, I
have a look to maintain.
Close on Kermit.
KERMIT
I dont know guys, Bunsen did have a
lot of good points. Piggy does boss us
all around a lot, she eats most of
what Nanny brings for us, and the way
she treats me makes me very
uncomfortable.
Angle on Skeeter.
SKEETER
Yeah, but what about Animal? Do you
want him to stay locked in that chest
forever?
Angle on the toy chest. The pounding and scratching has
become much softer now. Widen to show the circle, focus on
Kermit.
KERMIT
Well, of course not. Maybe thats
something we can talk to Bunsen about.
Hes not unreasonable.

10.

FOZZIE
And hes good at Math and Science and
Counting. I dont mind if he wants to
divide our cookies up.
Widen to show the nursery door. Nanny walks in.
NANNY
Hey, kids. I brought some more treats.
Brownies, I havent made them in a
long time. I hope they came out okay.
GONZO
Thanks, Nanny.
KERMIT
Im sure theyll be great, Nanny.
NANNY
Great, let me know what you think.
FOZZIE
We will.
Nanny exits. Piggy starts running towards the brownies.
ROWLF
(sharply)
Piggy.
Piggy stops and turns around.
PIGGY
What? I was just going to taste a
brownie.
KERMIT
You know the new rules.
PIGGY
You werent all going to really take
that seriously, were you?
Rowlf walks over and grabs the plate of brownies.
ROWLF
(curtly)
Yes. We were.
Rowlf walks over to the closet. He knocks and walks in. Close
on the outside of the closet.

ROWLF (V.O.) (CONT'D)

Hey, Bunsen?
BUNSEN (V.O.)
I thought that I said I wasnt to be
disturbed.
Beaker does his squeal.
ROWLF (V.O.)
Yeah, I know. I just wanted to let you
know that Nanny brought us some
brownies.
BUNSEN (V.O.)
Leave them. I will be out shortly.
ROWLF (V.O.)
Also...
BUNSEN (V.O.)
What is it?
ROWLF (V.O.)
Piggy tried to run and grab the
brownies. I had to stop her and take
the plate away.
BUNSEN (V.O.)
That filthy swine. Once again you have
proven yourself as a valuable asset.
Take some brownies for yourself. Like
I said, I will be out shortly.
The closet door opens and Rowlf comes back out. He is eating
a brownie and has 2 more in his hand. Widen to show the
entire nursery. Rowlf is walking to back to the others. Close
on the circle as Rowlf rejoins.
GONZO
What happened?
KERMIT
Where are Bunsen and Beaker?
PIGGY
And the brownies?
ROWLF
Bunsen said hed be out in a bit.
Hell bring them then. Hes probably
just splitting them up.

12.

SKEETER
Well you have some now, how about you
share with us?
ROWLF
I cant do that, Bunsen gave me these.
PIGGY
Rowlf, youre making me really mad.
ROWLF
You guys are just going to have to
trust that Bunsen will bring you your
brownies. Thats how the system works.
KERMIT
Yeah, Piggy. You just ate everyones
cookies. Cant you go a few minutes
without eating again?
GONZO
I know! Lets play a game while were
waiting.
ROWLF
Or, I know. Lets sing a song!
MUPPETS
Yeah!
Widen to show entire nursery. Rowlf begins to play the piano.
The closet door opens and Bunsen walks out. Beaker is behind
him, pushing a large contraption on wheels. He sets it next
to the closet door and then closes the door.
KERMIT
(singing)
When you dont want to take a bath,
but your momBUNSEN
Enough.
The other muppets stop immediately.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
There will be no more of that. Come,
retrieve your rations.
The other muppets make their way over, Piggy is running in
front. Close on Bunsen. He has several brown cloth bags with
a drawstring. Piggy stands next to him.

13.

PIGGY
Which one of these is mine, Bunsen?
BUNSEN
I will discuss your arrangement in a
moment.
Bunsen begins to hand out a bag to each of the other muppets
as they approach, one at a time.
PIGGY
My arrangement?
BUNSEN
Yes.
Bunsen finishes handing out the bags as the nursery door
opens. Widen to show the the muppets and the nursery door.
NANNY
Wow, you guys really ate those
brownies fast!
BUNSEN
Yes, we did.
Beaker shakes his head up and down furiously.
NANNY
Ill take it that you all liked them
then?
KERMIT
Yes, Nanny. They were delicious.
Piggy runs up to Nannys legs.
PIGGY
Nanny, Bunsen is being very mean and
wont let anyone have any of the
brownies until he gets his first, and
he wont give me any.
NANNY
(laughing)
Piggy, listen to yourself. Does that
sound like something Bunsen would do?
To be honest, that sounds more like
you.
PIGGY
But Nanny!

14.

Nanny turns around begins to exit.

NANNY
(closing the door)
You kids play nice.
Widen to show all the muppets.
BUNSEN
You all play for a while. I need to
speak with Piggy.
MUPPETS
Okay!
Close on Bunsen.
BUNSEN
(to Piggy)
Follow me.
Widen to show Piggy following Bunsen. They stop in front of
the contraption from earlier. Angle on Bunsen and Piggy with
the contraption in the background. The contraption appears to
be a large food dispenser that empties into a trough. Beaker
appears to the side.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
I told you I had made arrangements for
you?
PIGGY
What is this thing?
BUNSEN
Since youve proven that you cant be
trusted or follow rules, even after
our initial discussion, I have created
this dispenser. Every 90 minutes, a
portion of slop will be released from
the dispenser into the trough below.
The amount of slop and the ingredients
have been carefully calculated and
chosen for your age and height. You
will be allowed no more until the next
90 minutes.
PIGGY
(indignantly)
You want ME to eat out of a trough?

BUNSEN
You are swine. Your parents are swine.
This is not beneath you. Now get
yourself ready, the first portion
should be arriving at any moment.
Bunsen looks at his watch for a few seconds when the latch on
the dispenser opens and slop pours out into the trough.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Unless youd rather go hungry. This is
for your own good. You were on a fast
track to juvenile diabetes. Im taking
care of you.
PIGGY
But Nanny takes care of me!
BUNSEN
(menacingly)
Your nanny has abandoned you.
Piggy steps forward and slowly bends over the trough. She
looks absolutely humiliated. She begins eating, softly
oinking as she chews.

16.

ACT TWO
INT. THE NURSERY - CLOSET - DAY
Plays out like the intro to A Clockwork Orange. The music
from the movie is playing. The walls and floor are black.
Bunsen and Beaker can be seen in the distance, dressed in
black hats, overalls, and white shirts, like the characters
from the movie. Bunsen is sitting down, Beaker is standing
beside him. The focus slowly gets closer to the two until
its on Bunsens face. He is grinning widely and one eye has
exaggerated eyelashes. He takes a sip of milk out of a glass.
INT. THE NURSERY - DAY
Fozzie is in front of the back wall, covered in a black tarp.
There is a spotlight on him and he is performing a stand-up
act.
FOZZIE
Why does Gonzo listen to music while
hes driving?
MUPPETS
Why?
FOZZIE
Because he loves cartoons!
Close on Gonzo.
GONZO
Oh, brother.
Widen to show Fozzie, the other muppets backs, and the
closet. The closet opens, Bunsen and Beaker enter the
nursery. They are now dressed in ornate gowns. Something a
pope would wear. Bunsen has a gold crown on his head.
FOZZIE
Why did Piggy put Rowlf in the oven?
MUPPETS
Why?
FOZZIE
Because she wanted a hotdog!
Bunsen and Beaker stop to look at Fozzie.
BUNSEN
What is this?

17.

SCOOTER
Fozzie was going over his new comedy
act with us.
GONZO
Yeah he was telling us some jokes.
BUNSEN
Jokes? Those are not jokes.
FOZZIE
What do you mean? Im a comedian?
BUNSEN
You are not a comedian. To even refer
to you as a common jester would be
making a mockery of the jesting trade.
Angle on Rowlf.
ROWLF
Yeah, his jokes are pretty bogus. I
could come up better gags with a plate
of Brussels sprouts.
Angle on Bunsen.
BUNSEN
(to Rowlf)
You. They way you denigrated your
friend. I enjoyed that. You are now
our new resident comedian.
Angle of Fozzie.
FOZZIE
What? But its my dream to become a
professional comedian.
BUNSEN
Relinquish your pinwheel hat at once.
Rowlf stands up and walks over to the stage area. Fozzie
reluctantly takes off his pinwheel hat and hands it over.
FOZZIE
Please take care of it.

BUNSEN
Rowlf, maybe there is something in
your collection of instruments that
Fozzie can busy himself with. A kettle
drum, perhaps?
ROWLF
Umm... I think I have a xylophone.
BUNSEN
Perfect. Fozzie, your new career
ambition is to become an able
xylophonist.
FOZZIE
(upset)
Oh, man.
Close on Kermit and Piggy.
PIGGY
(whispering to Kermit)
Kermy, you said youd talk to him
about letting Animal out of the toy
chest.
Kermit gulps.
KERMIT
Okay. Ill do it.
Widen on all the muppets.
Kermit stands up and walks over to Bunsen.
KERMIT (CONT'D)
Hey, Bunsen? We were talking and we
thought that maybe we should let
Animal out of the toy chest now. He
probably learned his lesson, and we
havent heard anything from him in a
long time.
BUNSEN
Out of the question. He will be left
there until he is broken, and then
retrained to be a functioning member
of a nursery.
KERMIT
Oh, okay. If you think thats best.

19.

BUNSEN
And if any of you have any silly ideas
about stealing the key, it would be
for nought. It has been hidden where
no one will be able to find it. I will
be taking my leave now.
Beaker starts meeping and beeping and motioning for everyone
to stand. The muppets all stand and watch as Bunsen and
Beaker return to the closet. Close on Gonzo and the toy
chest. He strokes it a few times and then gives it a couple
taps.
GONZO
Dont worry, buddy. Well get you out
of there real soon.
The muppets reform their circle.
SKEETER
We have to get Animal out of there.
FOZZIE
Who knows how much oxygen can get in
there.
PIGGY
Its horrible and degrading.
In the background an alarm sounds softly and another portion
of slop falls into the trough. Piggy starts backing up
slowly.
PIGGY (CONT'D)
(embarrassed)
Please excuse me.
Piggy turns around and walks away. The circle tightens to
fill in her spot.
ROWLF
What are we going to do?
SKEETER
Bunsen is taking things too far.
KERMIT
I agree.
ROWLF
Yeah, I dont want to be a comedian. I
want to rock out on the piano.

20.

FOZZIE
And I want to tell jokes again.
Rowlf hands the pinwheel hat back to Fozzie.
ROWLF
Here Fozzie, this belongs to you.
FOZZIE
Oh my gosh, thank you!
SCOOTER
But we still have to get Animal out of
that chest.
GONZO
I think Ive got an idea.
KERMIT
You do?
GONZO
Bunsen said that the key is in a place
where no one would find it.
SCOOTER
Yeah, how are we going to get to it if
its somewhere where no one can find
it?
GONZO
Theres only one person I know that
can pull something like that off.
Gonzo puts on his hat and cloak.
GONZO (CONT'D)
Sherlock Gonzo! Guys, Im going in.
Angle on the closet door. Gonzo walks up to it. Piggy is
beside the door eating out of her trough. She lifts her head
and turns to Gonzos direction.
PIGGY
Be careful, Gonzo.
Piggy goes back to her slop.
GONZO
Dont you worry, Piggy. I will.
Gonzo opens the closet door and enters.

21.

INT. THE NURSERY - CLOSET - DAY

The inside of the closet is now the interior of a large
mansion. Gonzo walks through the vestibule and enters a large
room. There is a giant chandelier in the middle and
bookshelves by the walls. Gonzo takes out his magnifying
glass and starts looking at the floor. He sees a footprint.
GONZO
Aha! A clue.
Gonzo looks a little further and sees another footprint. He
begins following them with his magnifying glass. Gonzo ends
up following the footprints into an adjoining room where they
suddenly stop. Gonzo looks up to see Bunsen and Beaker
standing there.
GONZO (CONT'D)
Uh oh.
BUNSEN
Looking for this, I presume?
Bunsen holds up the key to the toy chest.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Beaker, lets escort Gonzo back out to
the nursery.
Beaker makes more weird noises and grabs Gonzo. He lifts him
up over his head and they walk out to the large room with the
chandelier.
GONZO
I wasnt looking for the key, I swear.
I was checking the ground for...
termites.
BUNSEN
I suppose it doesnt really matter
either way.
Gonzo, still lifted above Beakers head, sees Bunsen throw
the key. They exit and re-enter the nursery.
INT. THE NURSERY - DAY
Bunsen, along with Beaker holding Gonzo walk in. Piggy is by
the door, standing.

22.

BUNSEN
(to Piggy)
Ah, a nice clean trough. Im glad you
are cooperating. Youre beginning to
look slightly less repugnant.
They continue walking until they reach a playpen with bars.
ROWLF
Theyve got Gonzo!
Widen to show all the muppets.
BUNSEN
Everyone, I thought I made myself very
clear that there was no use in looking
for the key. Why is it that you all
wish to hurt me this way? There are
consequences to your actions. In this
case, I will assume that Gonzo acted
on his own accord. Beaker?
Beaker throws Gonzo into the playpen.
KERMIT
Gonzo!
SKEETER
Are you okay?
Close on Gonzo. Gonzo rubs his head.
GONZO
Yeah, I think Im fine.
Widen back out to show the muppets.
BUNSEN
Gonzo will remain here until I say
otherwise. Any other attempts to throw
our nursery into chaos will be dealt
with much more harshly.

FOZZIE
But, but its my hat. I want to keep
it.
BUNSEN
Rowlf, take Fozzies hat off of him
and put it on.
Rowlf obediently takes the hat off of Fozzys head and places
it on his own.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
I dont want to see that hat off your
head again.
ROWLF
Yes, sir.
Bunsen then looks at Scooter and Skeeter.
BUNSEN
You two. Whats the deal with you two?
SCOOTER
Us?
SKEETER
What do you mean whats the deal with
us?
BUNSEN
You look too similarly androgenous.
Its strange. Exchange clothes.
Scooter, you are the girl now.
Close on Scooter and Skeeter. They look at each other,
horrified.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
You may use the closet to do so.
Scooter and Skeeter stand motionless.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Beaker?
Beaker meeps and beeps while making his way over to Scooter
and Skeeter with a scowl on his face. The two run to the
closet and exit the nursery.

BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Fozzie, bring out your xylophone and
play me a number. I need to
decompress.
INT. THE NURSERY - CLOSET
Scooter and Skeeter are in the vestibule of the mansion. They
look over and see the large room with the chandelier.
SCOOTER
Wow, this place is great.
SKEETER
Yeah, its beautiful. Lets take a
quick peek.
They walk into the large room and scan the area. A shiny
object catches Skeeters eye. The key is on top of a
bookshelf.
SKEETER (CONT'D)
Scooter, look! Its the key!
Skeeter points to the key.
SCOOTER
Alright! Do you think we can get to
it?
As soon as they start towards the bookshelf, Bunsen and
Beaker enter. Bunsen doesnt look their way while hes
walking.
BUNSEN
Beaker, please escort these two out.
Beaker walks up and grabs them by their collars and leads
them back to the nursery.
INT. THE NURSERY - DAY
The other muppets are crowded around the playpen. Gonzo is
holding the bars as if he were in a jail cell. Beaker lets
Scooter and Skeeter go and immediately exits back into the
closet.
KERMIT
What was it like in there?

GONZO
It was like a mansion. Theyve got a
pretty good setup.
PIGGY
Were you able to find the key?
GONZO
No. But when I got caught, I did see
Bunsen throw it somewhere.
ROWLF
So you know where it is?
GONZO
I couldnt see where it went. And the
room is huge. Itd be pretty hard to
find it without Bunsen and Beaker
catching on.
Scooter and Skeeter approach the group.
FOZZIE
Hey, theyre back.
SCOOTER
We have some good news, and some bad
news. The good news is, we know
exactly where the key is.
PIGGY
Hurray!
SKEETER
The bad news is, its up on a high
shelf. Theres no way we can get to
it.
FOZZIE
Shucks.
KERMIT
Would you two be able to describe
exactly where it is?
SKEETER
Yeah, I guess so.
SCOOTER
I dont see why not.

KERMIT
Alright, then. I think I know what
needs to be done.
ROWLF
Fill us in, Kermit.
KERMIT
I think its time for Indiana Kermit
to save the day.
Kermit puts on his hat and jacket, transforming into Indiana
Kermit.
ROWLF
If anyone can pull it off, you can.
Piggy runs up and grabs Kermits arm.
PIGGY
Kermy, no! Its too dangerous! What if
they catch you?
KERMIT
Thats just a chance that Im going to
have to take.
Kermit cracks his whip and runs for the door.
PIGGY
Hes so brave.
GONZO
Hey, I went in there too, yknow.
PIGGY
Yes, but you got caught. And now you
cant do anything.
GONZO
No respect.
INT. THE NURSERY - CLOSET - DAY
Kermit slides in. He tiptoes around the vestibule, looking
around as he goes. He makes his way to the large room.
KERMIT
Scooter and Skeeter said that once I
enter the big room, it should be on a
bookcase to my left.

Kermit looks over and spots the key.

KERMIT (CONT'D)
There it is!
Bunsen and Beaker stroll into the large room and notice
Kermit. They panic.
BUNSEN
Indiana Kermit? What is he doing here?
KERMIT
Im here to get the key to the toy
chest and get Animal out of there.
Were playing by my rules now.
Kermit jumps on a chair, uses his whip and snaps it,
attaching it to the chandelier. He then swings back and forth
gaining momentum.
BUNSEN
What do you think youre going to
accomplish here?
Kermit keeps swinging and then jumps for the bookshelf. He
lands on top and grabs the key.
KERMIT
You were saying?
BUNSEN
He actually did it!
Kermit jumps down and begins running back.
BUNSEN (CONT'D)
Beaker, after him.
Beaker makes his usual sounds as he and Bunsen pursue Kermit.
They exit back into the nursery.
INT. THE NURSERY - DAY
Kermit runs in.
KERMIT
Ive got the key, keep them busy while
I get Animal out.
Bunsen and Beaker run in. Fozzie slides his xylophone in
front of them, forcing them to run around it.

When they reach the other side, Piggy is there waiting for
them, standing on a chair.
PIGGY
Ill eat what I want!
Piggy belly-flops at Bunsen and Beaker. Bunsen narrowly
dodges, but Beaker gets hit full on. She then continues to
sit on Beaker while he beeps in pain. Bunsen yells over to
Kermit, who has the key in hand and is standing in front of
the toy chest.
BUNSEN
Kermit, think about what youre doing.
Think of the nursery. Of Nanny. Is
this what you really want?
KERMIT
(like a badass)
I already have thought about it.
Kermit jams the key into the keyhole and turns it. Before he
gets a chance to open it, Animal flies out. He is furious. He
runs at Bunsen, ready to attack. He jumps at him, prepared to
tear Bunsen to pieces. Bunsen uses his arms to shield his
face
BUNSEN
Wait, no! Stop!
Everything gets all wavy, like the end of a dream sequence.
They are still in the nursery. Bunsen looks dazed and the tip
of his tongue is touching the back of Kermits head.
KERMIT
(uncomfortable)
Um, Bunsen? Are you done with your
experiment yet?
Bunsen shakes his head and snaps back into reality. His voice
is back to normal.
BUNSEN
Oh, yes. My hypothesis proved to be
correct. Thank you for your help,
Kermit.
KERMIT
Any time. Maybe for the next one it
wont involve so much of your saliva.
BUNSEN
Well see, no promises.

Animal jumps on Kermits back and begins furiously licking

the back of Kermits head. Animal looks at the viewers. The
colors start to change and the picture starts to swirl.
ANIMAL
