The appraiser shall first complete the entire form with the exception of the Employee Comments and then arrange to
discuss the form in a face-to-face Appraisal Meeting with the employee. The employee should have the opportunity to
comment verbally and in writing on the performance appraisal.

The Appraisal Meeting with the employee shall be conducted in private and allow the employee sufficient time to
reflect on the appraisal prior to signing. The purpose of the meeting is twofold: (i) to review past performance; (ii) to
look forward to the year ahead.
4.
The appraiser and employee should mutually agree a set of objectives for the coming year. Achievement of objectives
set for the appraisal period should be reviewed as part of the appraisal process.
5.
Based on the total score, the appraiser shall circle the respective rating according to the score as follows:
