SPECIFICATIONS

Willamette Week is printed web offset. Electronic files (PDF or packaged InDesign file,
300 dpi) can be sent via email to art@wweek.com (please copy your Account Executive)
or delivered on a CD or DVD. We do not accept Microsoft files (Word, Excel, Publisher,
etc). Ad Materials due Friday by noon. For further details, ask your Account Executive.

Credit and Payment Terms


Payment in advance is required from new advertisers until credit has been established.
All cash-with-order customers must pay for their ads by noon on Mondays following
deadline. MasterCard/Visa/American Express accepted. For customers on credit, payment is due 30 days from date of invoice. No advertising will be accepted from advertisers
whose accounts carry balances older than 60 days unless prior approval is obtained from
the credit department. A monthly finance charge of 1.5% will be added to accounts 30
days past due. Any fees charged to Willamette Week to collect on a delinquent account
will be the responsibility of the customer. Any NSFcheck will be subject to a $22 service
charge.

frequency and contract terms


An ad of any size counts as one insertion on a contract. Frequency discounts are granted
only to contract advertisers. A backrate will occur if the contracted frequency has not
been fulfilled by the expiration date of the contract. At that point, insertions that have
been published at the contract price are recalculated at the frequency rate which has been
earned and the advertiser is billed for the difference.

copy and contract regulations


Advertising contracts are not transferable. Publisher shall try but shall be under no obligation to give notice of rate adjustments or changes. Publisher reserves the right, up to the
day of publication, to reject or revise any ad. Position requests are given consideration,
but publisher cannot be held liable for failure to accommodate said requests. If a mistake
in advertising occurs (including but not limited to omission, copy error, or size error)and
is the fault of the publisher, insertion of a make-good advertisement in the next available issue will occur. Publisher will assume no other responsibility for mistakes and the
advertiser expressly agrees that a contract or insertion order shall not be invalidated by
mistakes. It is agreed that the advertiser/agency will indemnify and hold the publisher
harmless from and against any loss, expense, or other liability resulting from any claims
or suits for libel, violation of right of privacy, plagiarism, copyright infringement, and
any other claims or suits that may arise out of the publication of advertising materials
provided by them.
