1. Executive summary
The executive summary is a part of business plan that generally brief and describe
about the business. It should be the summarized of the business plan that been made.
Thats mean in executive summary should have all about what we do in our business
plan for example in administrative plan, operation plan and others. The executive
summary for Recresports Centre containts a major plan of the business. The summary
done by generally describe all major areas on the business plan such as administrative
plan, marketing plan, operation plan and so financial plan.

2. Introduction
In the introduction, the information about the business that been made can be find out
where they introduce about the nature of the business and all that related with the
business. Introduction also describe the foundation of the organization or the company.
Recresports Centre used the introduction as a part for describe the company
information and also the major business of the company.

3. Purpose of the business

There are several purpose for completing business plan. The main purpose is to be
guidance for the company to operates. As for this one, the purpose of business plan for
Recresports Centre is to obtain capital from term loan provided by Bank Rakyat
amounting RM123 859.00. It is also to attract potential investors to invest in the
business. It is also stated that this business plan is to inform their customer about the
nature of business and what they offers. They also provide this business plan to show to

their suppliers that they can trust this company to supply their product. Actually this is
too many purposes being proposed in one business plan. Every of them should be
placed in different business plan. If this business plan is to getting loan, its purpose
should only be stated as to obtain loan from specific resources. If there is too many
purpose, fund provider might be confused about the purpose of the business plan being
presented to them.

4. Company background
Generally, the company background will state all basic information about the company.
This is the part where the company describes the name of the company, contact
number, company registration number, and other related information. Recresports
Centre not stated all those things on the business plan.

5. Company logo
The company logo should represent and describe the company. Recresports Centre
has made a good decision by using soccer ball on companies logo. It is really suitable
with the services that the company provide which is futsal. The company also put the
tagline on the logo shows the company services provided.

6. Partners background
Not stated on the business plan.

7. Location of the business

Recresports Centre locations for business were chosen the warehouse and it is suitable
for this kind of business activity. Based on the introduction part on the business plan,
this location is choosing because of residency area where the potential customers are
living.

8. Marketing plan
The marketing plan describes market condition and strategies related to how our
product and services will be distributed (place), price, promotion and the products
themselves. A Business Plan must incorporate a well-structured marketing plan. This is
because information contained in the marketing plan not only explains how the
customers needs and wants, but it will also link with the operational, administrative and
financial planning of the some ventures. Marketing plan will be annual requirement with
careful monitoring and changes made on and monthly basis for the entrepreneurship.
Recresports Centre already write down all basic need on the marketing plan fpr
example product or service description, target market, market size, market competition,
market share and sales forecast. The most important part actually is marketing
strategies. It is because a good marketing strategy on a business plan will help on
convincing the loan provider. This company used four different types of strategies which
is services strategy, pricing strategy, distribution strategy and last but not least is
promotion strategy.
Regarding to the target market, this company determined the potential customer by
using questionnaires method. Recresports Centre also already determined the SWOT
analysis for each competitor and also the company itself. Based on the business plan,
the company believes that the company strengths came from good management.

On this part, the company also calculates the marketing budget which is consist all
related things that required during the marketing plan such as printed media, discount
and rebates, outdoor advertisement and so on.

9. Administrative plan
In the beginning of the administrative plan, there have a mission, objectives and key to
success. Also include the organization chart. The organization chart is clear because it
stated the positions for all top management and also the subordinates. This help to
clarify the task of each managers and it will not be doubled. The schedule of task and
responsibilities by each personnel has been stated also. The company also list down
the job descriptions for each position. Job specifications is consists of requirements
need for the position.
Schedule of remuneration are also prepared and described how the calculation are
made. It stated the monthly expenses that the companys has to bear on employees
salary. From my personal views, the company can reduce the monthly expenses by
reduce the manpower resource. For example, the company can merge the position of
marketing and operations executives. It is because the marketing executives are not
required to do the marketing every day.
The equipment seems to be suitable for the administration of the business.

Operation plan

In the operation plan, this company operates 16 hours every day which started from
10.00 am until 2.p.m.

The process flow chart is made to show the progress of the operation and the activity in
the operation such as in getting court reservation. The transformation process will show
how the process of the operation from input to output. They also have stated material
requirement for the business purpose including the price for each unit. This can help to
make sure that the company knows what they need for them to operate the business.
They also state the supplier for each material that needed for them to run the business.
This is good because they know from where should they get the supply and they could
get discount as for being regular customer from the suppliers.
They also include the manpower requirement for operation plan which consist of three
workers for each work shift. The work shifts are divided by to shift.
Machine and equipment that required are stated and it is reasonable for the company to
operate.
The layout plan is important for company to clearly manage the operation site. Based on
the business plan, the company operation layout is not being labeled enough. The
company also supposed to briefly explain about the level of security of company
operation sites. The company should add a little bit about parking area because
customer need to know how secure the place.

Financial plan

Financial plan is the part that company will calculate all expenses related to the
business. It is also a part that company determined their profit or loss. All expenses
should be calculated in detailed to determining net profit. Recresports Centre on
operation budget is no so detailed. The material should be calculated by each court.
The figure of material requirement also not relevant. To build one futsal court requires a
lot of capital. By build 4 futsal court for the business activities, it supposed to be more

than RM 200 000.00. The company also didnt state about ball used. It is also should be
consider as a operation expenses.
In other sides, the company calculates well on administrative plan and so marketing
plan.
In depreciation on fixed assets, there is a little bit confuse because the company also
calculate the renovation depreciation. The renovation is cannot be consider as a fixed
assets. The depreciation can be calculate to the thing that being renovated such as
building.
This company also includes the pro forma balance sheet. Income statement and
financial ratios which is important to support the reason for investors should invest in
this business.

Conclusions

As a conclusion, the business plan for Recresports Centre is quite impressive although
there is some mistake made. The company is strong on their administrative plan but
less on marketing and operation plan. The company should clearly discuss about their
marketing plan because it is important to convincing the loan provider. As a loan
provider, there are tend to reduce the risk to provide a capital to the business which in
high risk. A strong marketing plan can explain to the loan provider how the company can
reduce the risk of failure or loss. The company also should add more on gathering data
about potential customer. It just not enough by dividing into age and gender. Te
company supposed to know more about customers need and wants.
