INTRODUCTION

The town of manali located in the kullu valley of

Himanchal Pradesh, lies in the heart of pir-panjal range
of the western Himalayas.
This present study pertains to the experience of the
visit during the course as we had a trekking trip to
solang valley then we had a hotel visit to river country
and lastly we visited nagger castle. All these three
experiences are different and have different impact
on me.
The scenic beauty and rugged mountain terrain of
solang valley provide an ideal location for outdoor
recreational activities .As we had a trekking trip to
solang valley ,trekking is basically recreational mountain
walking for pleasure .In effect, the town of manali has
become the primary tourist destination for both
foreign and domestic tourist visiting the state of
Himanchal Pradesh.
With the tagline of “Experiences Manali at its Best”
River country resort is just giving the same as they are
saying. River country situated on the right bank of beas
river, giving a royal look makes travelers to recognize
the resort.
First time visiting a hotel and know about the different
departments, different type of rooms and services
provided by hotel increase one’s knowledge about how a
hotel works .every department of a hotel work in a
team ,no department can work in isolation .
