COURSE OVERVIEW:
1.Strategic & Transformational Human Capital Management :
In this module we cover the seminal works of Dave Ulrich and Wayne Brockbank - The HR Value Proposition
to bring in focus how HR must link itself to the business reality. We will present the findings of research
conducted by Corporate Leadership Council for 101 companies from all over the world to establish the new
role of HR in business and organization transformation. We will also present the research findings of Watson
and Wyatt, NASSCOM, Mercer etc.
2. Global best practices in Organization Development:
We teach the above through share case -studies of various companies to demonstrate how to change the
culture, practices and processes to make the organization more effective.
3. Performance Management & improving the effectiveness of Performance Management Systems:
We cover the best practices in Performance Management in Royal Dutch Shell, Unilever, P & G, Mahindra &
Mahindra Group etc and teach implementation of 360 degree, Balance Score Card , HR Score Card with the
help of case - studies and also teach how to statistically standardize rating and bring fairness in the
appraisal process.
4. Rewards and Recognition:
We present case studies to the participants on the various types of formal & informal rewards, Incentives and
stock options schemes prevalent in companies today.
5.Global Compensation & Benefits Management:
We cover the best practices in compensation & benefits management and teach how to structure salary
packages.
6.Talent Management - Theory and practice with global case - studies:
We cover Assessment Centres and Development Centres , Potential Appraisal, Career Planning and
Succession Planning.
7.HR Metrics and HR Analytics:
We teach participants to use HR Metrics and analytics for Performance Management, Assessment,
Talent Management.

8.Use of qualitative and emperical research for Organization Development.


All OD interventions need to started with valid research. In our course we teach research methodology to
conduct qualitative an emperical research to design OD interventions.
9.Improving Retention and Reducing Attrition:
We will discuss the case - studies of HP, The Times of India Group, Excel Crop Care, TCS , 3G etc to
demonstrate the efforts that can be made to reduce attrition and improve retention and how it has worked.
10.Applied Behaviourial Science & Learning & Development:
In this module we cover all the theories of behaviourial science and those pertaining to learning and
development, learning styles, instructional design etc.
11.Train the Trainer:
We conduct a workshop called Train the Trainer to help the participants to learn how to set the objective
for a training programme, develop content and design the right methodology to make the training interesting
and effective. All students are required to design and conduct a training programme to develop their self
confidence, learn how to use their resource( body ,mind, emotions ) effectively and develop platform skills.
12.Effective Resourcing:
In this module we will teach Competency Profiling and all the methods to conduct a search.
13.Types and uses of Psychometric test in recruitment and assessment of potential.
We will expose the participants to various types and uses of Psychometric Test. We will cover MBTI, FIRO B, Brain Dominance Inventory, 16 PF etc.
14. Effective Interviewing Skills using Behavior Event Interviews:
In this module we cover how to write a proper Job description and conduct a competency profiling exercise
and then structure an effective Recruitment process and then conduct an effective interview.
15. Employer & Internal Branding to create a positive image and culture:
One of the most fundamental areas is to create a positive culture in the company through Internal Branding
so that employees feel motivated about the company.
16. Job Evaluation:
We teach the use of Point Rating System & Profile system for Job Evaluation.
17. HR Audit:
We cover the entire process of conducting an HR Audit for a company.
18. Latest case laws in Labour Legislation and Management.
We will provide exposure in the latest case-laws in labour legislation.
