In todays Gospel the people press John the Baptist for an answer.
Who are you? Are you the Prophet? John answers that he is
not but that the Messiah was there and people did not recognize
him. What outward signs or actions show others clearly that you
follow Jesus, the Messiah?

Closed weekdays Dec 22 - Jan 3. The UCC will reopen with


normal hours beginning January 5, 2015.
URGENT APPEAL to liturgical ministers!

If you are a liturgical minister and will be around for


the Christmas break, please sign up to assist at the
Masses over break. We will have guest presiders
helping out at some of the Masses and we need to
have ministers committed to being at our Masses. So

Integrity in Ministry (EIM). To be certified,
you must submit an online application to the
Diocese and attend a 3-hour Basic workshop.
Those who have already been certified must also
attend a 1.5 hour Refresher workshop every three years in order
to maintain their certification. Please note that the UCC will host
one of each type of workshop early in the Spring Semester.
