& ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

INFORMATION ABOUT THE SERVICE


Navman Wireless GPS Fleet and Asset Management is a solution
that uses Telstras mobile network to provide near real-time vehicle
location, mapping, reporting and mobile communication.
There is also an option to use the Iridium satellite network when
the vehicle or asset is outside of Telstra Next G coverage areas.

Availability

You can purchase the Navman Wireless Solution on:


a Casual Option (month-by-month) with an upfront purchase
of the Navman Wireless hardware;
a Hardware Repayment Option where you pay off your Navman
Wireless hardware in monthly installments over 36 months; or
an Accessory Only Option where you may separately buy
supporting hardware.

Hardware

The Navman Wireless devices are compact, solid, all-in-one units


that are discreetly installed into a vehicle or asset to provide a
near real-time location, speed and direction. You need to have the
hardware device in order to use the Navman Wireless Solutions.
Additional hardware options include:
Mobile Data Terminal (MDT)
Mobile Navigation Terminal (MNAV)
Satellite Communications Unit (Satellite)
Data Capture Unit (DCU)
Hummingbird
Lone Worker Pendant
Additional Parts, full list is available on request

Minimum term

If you take up the Casual Option, theres no minimum term.


If you take up the 36-month Repayment Option, your
minimum term is 36 months.

An Iridum satellite data service
Installation.
Other exclusions
Install is not included with Accessory Only purchases and with the
Qtanium 100.

Important conditions

Satellite Communications Unit


In order to use the Satellite Communications Unit you need to
separately take up a satellite Iridum data service from Navman
Wireless or another third-party provider. We dont supply this service.
All usage and charges associated with your Satellite
Communications Unit will be billed directly by Navman Wireless.
These charges wont appear on your Telstra bill. For more details

Youll also need to separately arrange for installation of your
Navman Wireless Solutions hardware if you take up a Satellite
Communications Unit.

INFORMATION ABOUT PRICING


Charges

To take up the Navman Wireless Solutions you need to separately


get a casual M2M data plan. There are different data plans available
and we recommend the $5.00 per month plan, which includes 5MB
data each month.
In addition to your M2M data plan, the other charges (inclusive
of GST) that apply to your Navman Wireless Solutions are set out
below and on the next page.

Hardware Repayment Option

Minimum Cost
(on a 36-month
repayment option)

For the Qube or Qtanium the minimum amount youll pay over one month
is $43.50 including GST. This is based on the first months charges of
$38.50 for the application fee and $5.00 for the 5MB M2M data plan.
For the Qtanium 100 the minimum amount youll pay over one month
is $21.50 including GST. This is based on the first months charges of
$16.50 for the application fee, and $5.00 for the 5MB M2M data plan.
If you take up a 36-month Hardware Repayment Option, the total
minimum cost will vary based on the hardware, application and
M2M data plan selected.
Please note, this does not include any charges for your Satellite
Communications Unit because Navman Wireless will charge you
separately for this, and any Support Plans you may take up.

Early termination

Casual Option: No Early Termination Charge (ETC) applies. You may cancel
your casual Navman Wireless Solutions without penalty at any time.
Hardware Repayment Option and Accessory Only Option:
ETC applies if you cancel your Navman Wireless Solutions during
the 36-month term. The ETC is calculated as:
ETC = ETC Base x remain months of the contract term

Telstra Billing

On the same day of each month youll be billed in advance for the
Minimum Monthly Charge and for use during the month. Your first
bill will include a proportion of your minimum monthly charge,
as well as the next months full minimum monthly charge in advance.
If you take up a casual plan your first bill will include our upfront
hardware charges.
To opt into receiving paperless billing, visit telstra.com/emailbill
to request an email bill and/or set up direct debit. For more

Price on application

If your Application Form sets out discounted pricing for your Navman
Wireless Solutions, the above pricing wont apply to you.
