Endometriosis
Endometriosis is a painful, chronic disease that occurs when cells from the lining of the
womb (uterus) grow outside the uterus. The misplaced fragments of tissue develop and
bleed in response to the hormones of the menstrual cycle. In turn, this causes inflammation
and damage in nearby tissues. Symptoms of endometriosis include cyclic pelvic pain, excessive bleeding, and problems getting pregnant (infertility).

Interesting Observation
Observing that women with the most severe form of endometriosis happen to be unusually
attractive, researchers in Italy speculate that the qualities that led to the women's good
looks also predisposed them to the painful gynecological condition.
In the study, independent observers rated 31 percent of women with severe endometriosis
as attractive or very attractive, while just 8 percent of women with milder endometriosis,
and 9 percent of women without the condition were rated that highly. In this regard, the

pregnancies. Sadly, she suffered from endometriosis. One was ectopic pregnancy and had to

Study of leukemia through KP

History
One of my relatives, a lady teacher, while dressing to go to school in one morning had got
sever itching all over the body and had gone to the family doctor instead of school. After a
thorough check up, the doctor had advised her to go to hospital. She had been admitted to
hospital and after some medical investigations doctors have revealed that she is attacked by
Leukemia and immediately transferred to the Cancer Hospital. On hearing this story I was
persuaded by myself to read her chart.
Birth Details
Female, Sunday, 16/Feb/1964, 10:16:00 PM, Gampaha, Western, Sri Lanka, Lat:
07:05 N, Lon: 80:00 E, KP New Ayanamsa: 23 15' 58", Lagna: Libra, Star: U.Bhadra,
Pada 4, Bal. Dasa: Saturn 4 Y, 7 M, 9 D (Example chart No. 01)
Venus is Lagna cusp sub lord as well as the lord of Lagna and 8th house. This Venus is located in the 6th house, in the star of Saturn, lord of 4, 5, conjoined with Moon, the lord of
10 and also sub lord of 7 cusp. The 6th cusp is owned by Jupiter and star and sub is Saturn. It is in the star of Mars the lord of 2, 7 in 5. Saturn does not have any direct signification of 1st house, but with trine aspect to 1st house.
Mars (blood & marrow) lord of 2, 7 (Maraka & Badahka), Sun (blood) the lord of 11 in positional strength and 6th cusp sub lord Saturn the lord of 4,5 are conjoined with each other
in the 5th house. Although 5th of this chart is the house of recovery from the illness, it denotes liver, gallbladder and spleen in a human body and among them spleen is the manufacturer of white blood corpuscles, which destroys body by forming a nucleus for mineral
deposits and principally it is a work of Saturn. In addition 5th house in Aquarius rules over
the circulatory system of the body.
Moon the main karaka for this disease, is conjoined with Lagna and Venus, the lord of 8 in
the 6th house, Pisces a watery sign. Moon is in the star of Saturn, the sub of 6th. Hence
Moon is a significator for 6th and connected with Lagna. By being the lord of 6th, Jupiter+
(blood) is deposited in the same sign of his own. By this I could have an idea that the blood
related planets Moon(6), Mars(2, 7), Sun(2, 7) and Jupiter (6, 12) are capable in making this
disease.
After sometimes I got another natal chart of a lady for making an auspicious muhurath for a
house construction. On my study of the chart, I found that the 6th cuspal sub lord Jupiter
is under the co-rulers of Mars - Saturn - Kethu and aspecting the Lagna bhawa. When the
native visited to collect the Muhurtha I questioned her whether she had undergone any
blood related disease. At once she said "Yes, yes, it is Leukemia". (Natal chart details are
given under No. 02)
Again I took the above two charts and analysed deeply to find the common planetary pattern for leukemia. In both charts I found two similar facts. (1) Moon or Saturn is connected
with the 6th cusp in any way and (2) Moon and Saturn are connected with each other in
any way.

Keeping this in mind I could made a deep study in connection with Leukemia by using some
more Leukemia attacked charts with the courtesy of Astro Data Bank. Before I take you to
my study, I wish to make a brief introduction of Leukemia in pathology and astrology.
What is Leukemia?
In pathology - blood consists of three types of cells and cell fragments floating in liquid
called plasma. These cellular components are:
1. Red Blood Cells ("erythrocytes," "RBCs") - oxygen-carrying cells
2. White Blood Cells ("leukocytes," "WBCs") - cells that help make up the body's immune system
3. Platelets ("thrombocytes") - fragments of cells that play an important role in formation of blood clots.
The total number of white blood cells normally ranges from 4 million to 11 million cells per
milliliter of blood. Leukemias are a group of diseases characterized by an abnormal increased numbers of white cells in the blood and bone marrow.
In Astrology - White Blood Corpuscles- These are said to be destroyers of the body and to
form a nucleus for mineral deposits. They are manufactured in the Spleen and are principally the work of Saturn. During anger and also during diseases and various afflictions,
they pass through the wall of the blood vessels and deposit themselves in weakened or diseased tissues and form a nucleus for the increased deposit of mineral wastes of the body,

KP Rules for Leukemia
1. Moon produces the cancer of the blood.
If the sub lord of the 6th cusp is Moon, then breast cancer and blood cancer.

2. If the sub lord of the 6th cusp is either Moon or Mars and connected to houses 4, 6 and
12 and also watery signs, there will be the disease of blood cancer. (Ibid - pg 129)
3. Blood is mainly under the rule of Sun and Mars (Ibid - pg 5)
4. Jupiter also in charge of blood.(Ibid - pg.129)
5. The presence of Rahu and Neptune in 4th house indicates adulteration in Blood and im
pedes free flow or the blood. (Ibid - pg. 129)
6. Jupiter is also planet for blood and blood circulation. Jupiter is also an important planet
for this disease of "cancer" (Ibid - pg. 130)
7. House of blood is 8th (Ibid - pg. 130)
8. 4th house controls blood. (Ibid - pg. 130)
However what I have found is much similar to the hint given by Dr. H. L. Cornell, which
goes to the account of Saturn and also Moon. For this study I have taken 2 Sri Lankan natal charts as said above (Chart no. 01 and 02) and 23 randomly selected natal charts of
Leukemia category in the AstroDatabank, now at www.astro.com (Chart no. 03 to 25), as
provided in the attached table 1.

Findings and achievements

1. Saturn or Moon is connected with the 6th, house of disease in any way. -100%
2. Saturn and Moon are connected in any way like Punarphoo. - 100%
3. Interference of Jupiter with Saturn and Moon or/and its co-rulers (lord of Sign, Star and
Sub) or house of diseases. - 100%
Conclusion
The native may suffer from Leukemia,
if Saturn or Moon is connected with the 6th cusp;
Saturn and Moon are connected to each other in any manner; and
Jupiter is connected with Moon or Saturn or its co-rulers or 6th house in any manner.

is 1-3-7-9 - the result is LATE and If the reminder is 4-5-8-10 - the answer is NO. In our
case Horary No. is 38, divided by 12, reminder is 2, thus answer is YES.
(2) As per Gulbarga Theory, if the sub lord of the horary number furnished by the Querent
is either the starlord of the Ascendant (Lagna) or Moon among ruling planets, the answer is
YES otherwise NO. In our case, the sublord of horary number (i.e. 38) is Mars. Mars is not
the starlord of RP Lagna or Moon. Thus, answer is NO.

this query. I thought TSP is the best solution for such questions. Immediately I opened an
astrology book lying on my table and took page number 23 as my horary number.
I erected TSP chart for horary no. 23 at 8.9.23 A.M on 4th Nov 2013 at my place of stay i.e.,

for the benefit of the readers.

I took the help of the Ruling Planets to answer this part of the question
The ruling planets worked out on 4 Nov 2013 at 8.9.23 A.M at Hyderabad are
Ascendant-Scorpio-SGL MARS-STL-SAT-SBL MARS.
Moon-Libra- - SGL VEN-STL JUP- SBL SUN.
DAY LORDMOON
RAHU represents- Mer, Sun, Sat, Moon, Jup, Ven.

So the Ruling Planets are MARS-SAT-JUP- RAHU.
If the event has to happen within hours, move the lagna on the sensitive points. After the
Scorpio lagna the next lagna that follows is that of Dhanus from 9:26:34 A.M to 11:32:55
A.M. The stars available in the said lagna are

was reflected twice in the R.P lagna. So as such under the said range of lagna longitude, the
chosen sub lord MARS is reflected from 11:26:45 A.M to 11:27:22 A.M.

Actual Outcome
The actual outcome of the query is that Mr Hari came at 11:27:15 A.M when the lagna
touched the sensitive point of JUP SGL-SUN STL-MARS SBL AND RAHU SSBL and all are
reflected in the RULING PLANETS. Here Rahu represents Saturn and so all the ruling planets tally perfectly in fructifying the event. What a wonder it is with the K.P THEORY OF
RULING PLANETS!

Recovery of Lost Mobile

An electrician who was doing electric wiring at our residence seemed quite disturbed. I
asked him the reason for the same. He told me that someone has stolen his personnel mobile from his shop and he sought my help to check astrologically whether the lost mobile
will be found or not. I asked him to intimate any horary number between 1 and 249, after
some thought he told horary number as 7. Accordingly I made the horary map for the said
number immediately in his presence on dated 5-2-2008 at 1:15 P.M. at Chandigarh.
Moon reveals the nature of query.
Moon is in 10 and in the star of Sun in 11 lord of 6 and in the sub of Rahu in 11. Rahu is in
the sign of Saturn lord of 11 and 12. Hence Moon is the significator of 12 [loss] and 11 [to
regain]. Thus query relates to the loss of movable property [mobile] and its regaining.
Recovery of lost property
As per HORARY ASTROLOGY Sixth KP Reader page 235 written by sh K.S.Krishnamurti, if
the significators of the houses 2, 6 and 11 agree [counted from the house indicating the person whose property is lost] with the ruling planets of the day, the property lost will be Recovered. If the ruling planets are connected with 5, 8 and 12 houses it is lost once for all.

Mars deposited in house 2, and it is in sub of Rahu deposited in 11. Hence Mercury is the
significator of 2, 6 and 11.
Hence all the Ruling Planets are significators of 2, 6 and 11; so property lost will be recovered.
CHECKING 11TH CUSP
11th cusp sublord Venus is in 9 and lord of 2 & 7; it is again in the star of Venus lord 2
and 7, and it is in the sub of Jupiter in 9 lord of 9 and 10. Hence 11th cusp sublord signifies 2 [moveable property]. So Property lost will be recovered.
Moon, Mercury and Sun all are fast moving planets which are the significator of 11th house.
So property lost will be recovered soon.
CHECK Mahadasha, Bhukti, Antra and Sookshma
On the day of judgment, Mahadasha of Sun- Bhukti of Rahu- Antra of Saturan was running
from 14-1-2008 to 6-3-2008.
SUN is in 11 lord of 6, it is in the star of Moon in 10, and in the sub of Venus in 9 lord of 2.
Hence SUN MAHADASHA signifies 2 an 6 which are conducive for recovery of lost property.
Moreover Sun is a Ruling Planet.
RAHU is in 11 and it is in the Star of Mars in 3 and further in the Sub of Ven in 9 lord of 2.
So RAHU BUUKTI signifies 2 and 11 which is conducive for recovery of lost property Moreover Rahu is a R.P .
Antra of SATURAN lord of 11 and it is in star of Ketu and Ketu is in sign of Sun lord of 6,
and Sat is in the Sub of Merc in 11. No planet is in the star of Mercury, and Mercury is the
CSL of 6, 12. Hence Saturan Antra signifies 6 and 11 which are conducive for recovery of
lost property. Moreover Saturn is also a Ruling Planet.
In view of the above analysis, the lost mobile will be recovered before the expiry of Saturn
Antra that is before 6-3-2008.
Now Check Sookshma.
On the day of judgment Sookshma of Venus was running from 2-2-2008 to 10-2-2008
VENUS is in 9 lord of 2 and 7 and it is in the star of Venus in 9 lord of 2 and 7, and in the
sub of Jupiter in 9 lord of 10. Hence Venus Sookshma signifies 2, which is conducive for
recovery of lost property. Moreover Venus is a R.P.

Proposal for Six Fold Significator Table

Based on the above three examples, in July 2008 in the K-P-system discussion Yahoo
group, R. Dhanabalan had proposed to convert the existing four fold significator table
(grade A, B, C, D) in the six KP Readers into the six fold significator table with sub as below:

Why six fold significator table is not acceptable?
This idea of the six fold significator table had been discussed unacceptable because of the
following reasons:
1. With compared to only 3 examples with sub, the usual four fold significators (grade
A, B, C, D) without sub" like in the six KP Readers have been used in 13 examples on pp
57, 74, 118, 139, 236, 244, 256, 269, 276-277, 301, 303, 308 and 333 of Krishnamurti
Padhdhati, Vol. 2, Sagar Publications, 1966;
Out of these 3 examples with :sub, only the first example chart, at 10 p.m. on 9-3-1923, on
p 110 under Free from Debts" have been reprinted in the KP Reader III, 1971 edition, practical part, p 59 (new edition p 216 ) under Free from Debts", but without the following
paragraph with sub:
"According to Krishnamurty Paddhathi, one can borrow money during the dasas and bhukties
of:
planets in the star or "sub" of occupants of 6th house;
occupants of 6th house;
planets in the star or "sub" of lord of 6th house;
the lord of 6th house;
planets conjoined with or aspected by any of these planets."
(Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Vol. 2, Sagar Publications, 1966, p 113)
3. Other two examples regarding second chart, at 6-02 p.m. on 3-11-1839 under Child
Birth When, on p 272, and third chart, at 11-25 a.m. on 24-9-1965 under Time of
Transfer on p 318 (Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Vol. 2, Sagar Publications, 1966) are no more
included in any of the six KP Readers at all.
Needles to say, only the usual four fold (grade A, B, C, D) significators have been found
consistently applied in the KP Reader III, pp 342; KP Reader IV, pp 118, 128, 201; KP
Reader V pp 149, 201; KP Reader VI pp 157, 197, 247 etc., KP SWs and the KP literature in
general.

The main reason of not using the six fold significator table in the six KP readers in particular and KP practice in general is that using the subs signication as significator will
contradict with the following KP fundamental principle of sub as a decider in choosing the
fruitful significators:
"Planet is the source, constellation indicates nature of the results, and the SUB is deciding
factor whether the matter is favourable or not." (Krishnamurti Padhdhati, Volume 2, Sugar
Publication, Jan 1966, p 41; KP Reader III, V, VI) "This discovery has crowned me with success." (KP Reader III , pp 136-137/ 1971edition, theory part pp 129-130, KP Reader V, pp
136-137/ 1971 edition 129-130 & KP Reader VI, pp 41, pp 81-82)
When majority of planets are connected with the houses 2, 7 and 11, select the useful ones
which agree with ruling planets at the time of judgment. If a planet is in such a position that
its sub lord is connected with the houses 2, 7 and 11, then this planet is useful. But if the sub
is lord of 1, 6, 10 and is the significator of 12 house, marriage cannot take place . (KP Reader
IV, p 118)
In choosing fruitful significators for marriage, reject those planets which are in the sub of
planets in 1, 6 and 10, as these are the 12 th houses to the houses 2, 7 and 11, and select the
planets that are on the sub of the planets signifying 2, 7 and 11. (KP Reader IV, p 150) To select the strongest significators, reject the planets that are not in the sub of lords of 2, 5 and 11.

Whenever the significators are more in number the best method to select the beneficial ones
and eliminate the tempters is to find out the ruling planets at the time of judgment and see
which of them are common with the significators. (KP Reader VI, p 274, 276, 288-289)
In this context of the sub lord being a decider but not a significator, K.M. Subramaniam
stated at the beginning of his last 'Sublord Speaks' article LX of K.P. & Astrology Year
Book 1998 p 69, reprinted in SUBLORD SPEAKS part 3, p 141, as below:
Whether it is a planet or CUSPAL SUBLORD these are controlled by the cuspal sub lord and its
signification only.
As regards to a planet, the matter is seen through the star lord of that planet and the SUB
LORD of that planet decides the result & how the matter is altered & enjoyed and suffered by
the native. While we take the sub lord of the CUSP (all know the SUB LORD is a planet), we
must be more careful, while dealing the subject.
As told above, the CUSPAL SUB LORD is a PLANET. Here we must finalise the efficiency of the
CUSPAL SUBLORD, by finding out the signification of the CUSPAL SUB LORD and any period
runs under that planet signifying that house (CUSP), effects to get altered in those terms. To
make it more clear for the students of KP, I like to discuss the following birth chart, as an example..
It is also followed by Chandrakant R. Bhatt as given under:
The sub lord of the significator is the deciding factor regarding the matters of star lord. If the
sub lord is harmonious to the matters indicated by the star lord, the significator gives favorable results. If the sub lord is detrimental to the matters indicated by the star lord, the significator gives unfavorable results. (Nakshatra Chintamani, p 23-24)
Observation
Although the sub's signification cannot be considered as a straight significator, the signification of a planet needs to be considered by houses of occupation and ownership at all
three levels of the planet itself, its star and sub. And sub has a say in assessing the matter
even if the star lord does not indicate such matter.

Question- 1:
Dear sir, I was going through your valued articles in KP-ezine magazine and I have a
doubt regarding combination of houses or planets or both for marrying a widow/ widower.
Sir I am student of astrology, kindly reply for the same
Answer- 1:
If the 7th cuspal sub lord signifies houses 2,7,8,11 and is connected to Rahu or Saturn,
marriage to a widow/widower is indicated during the joint dasa period (DBAS) of significators of houses 2,7,8,11.
Question 2: Promise of the Event
We take the cuspal sub lord to see whether the event is promised or not to the native.
Here, we see the three step signification of sub lord- i.e.(1) sub lord, (2) its star lord and
(3) its sub lord position. The signification is arrived at its star lord i.e. (2) and its connection to the house is arrived from (1) and (3).
In the examples narrated in KP readers - it is seen that Guruji has taken exclusively
star lord signification and not the connectivity. For eg in Reader VI - Horary Astrology,
page 192 (Any child for me? Who is sterile?) while analysing the chart he has taken only
the signification at star level and declared sterile. 5th house sub lord Jupiter signifying
1,4,8,9 and not connected to the required houses. So the person is sterile. But if we
take the significations at three step the 5th CSL is Jupiter in Sun Star and Venus Suband the signification will be Jupiter in 9(1-4), Star lord Sun in 8(9), sub lord Venus in 6
(6-11). So Jupiter signify 1,4,8,9 and connected with 6,11. Here 11th signification
comes. There are many other examples quoted like this. I find it confused to arrive at
especially when the negative is to be predicted. Sir, I am not questioning the Guruji's
analysis and his greatest knowledge.
Sir, I am a naive to the KP system. I shall be much obliged if you will kindly guide me
on such matters.
Answer- 2:
Youve raised a very relevant question in learning KP. Its correct to see the three step
signification of a planet (as cuspal sub lord or dasa period lord), its star and up to its
sub level. Without considering the sub, it is not KP because KP is the sub lord theory
only, nothing else.
As youre aware, the KP significator table of grade A, B, C, D significators in the KP
Readers as well as SW print-outs are up to the two step planet and star level only, and
so it needs to see further up to the third level of sub.
Youre right that its confusing to conclude whether an event is promised or not. The
general rule is that an event is promised as long as the cuspal sub lord concerned signiKP Ezine

fies any of the required houses, for instance 2,7,11 for marriage, at any level of planet, its
star and its sub. Negative houses to marriage 1,6,10,12 are for consideration of separation
or divorce after marriage.
But in the case of dasa period lord, both the positive and negative houses are to be considered simultaneously in consideration of end result whether a dasa period lord, Dasa lord or
Bhukti lord, is capable to give the positive result.
Question- 3: Transit Result
In KP 5th reader, 2004 Edition Pg 110
under heading Sub Useful for Detailed Reading it is quoted:
(1) A planet offers the results indicated by the lord of the constellation more
predominantly than what it denotes by its occupation, ownership and nature
As I understand a planet gives the results of its Star-Lord more predominantly.
And in Pages 117 to 130 it has been explained results without any modification for each
planet owning different houses influencing the constellation lords of the 12 houses This is
a great thing & highly useful for us to understand how a planet offers the results, completely changed by the lord of the constellation .
In example on page 117, it is explained Sun in 10th as lord of 2nd when any planet
transits in SUNs constellation [ Kritika - Uttara U-Shada ] gives results indicated
by SUN in 10th predominantly than matter of Sun as lord of 2nd.
For the above result, we have to read under SUN Sun in 10 or lord of 10
My confusion here is, Sun is also in a constellation of a planet & mainly gives result of
the constellation-Lord.
I would like to learn from your expert opinion, when a planet transit in SUNs Satr.
Should I take results of Sun in 10 or lord of 10 only or SUNs satr-lords
sult or take both results for that planets transiting period.

Answer-3:
All the results indicated by the constellation Sun as occupant of 10 th house and owner of
2nd house will be experienced during the period of the planet situated in that (Sun) constellation. (KP Reader V: Transit, end of page 116) Occupant (10th signification) is stronger that
owner (2nd signification).
As a general rule for a planet in transit, the results of star and also sub in which that
planet is transiting are to be considered by occupation and ownership as above. So it is to
see in which star and sub a planet is transiting to consider the transit results of that planet.
Question- 4: Time Zone Problem
In the given chart details Male, 04-09-1913, 21:30 pm, h 1 east of GMT, 44n10, 08e20, Sid
time 19:56:44, KPNA 22:33:43, Asc. Ar 27:04:48, the time zone is given as 1 hour, which
according to worldtimezone.com is correct. However these are places (Italy) where DST is
also followed. How do we make sure that DST is not applicable in this case?
Answer- 4:
It is a good question regarding the Time Zone of chart details. Here hr 1 east is the time
difference to enter into the Time Zone of any astrological SW. This time difference is
used in the AstroDatabank chart details provided by www.astro.com . In this time difference the daylight savings time (if its applicable) is already adjusted, i.e. hr 1 east = TZ +

DST. For example, in the following chart, time: 07:26 (= 07:26 AM ),

Timezone EDT h4w (is daylight saving time)
(h 4 w = TZ 5 hr minus DST 1 hr)

and check whether given Sid. Time or Asc. position are more or less the same. For example, for the given chart, after entering 04-09-1913, 21:30 pm, h 1 east of GMT, 44n10,
