Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14 KJV
CALLED TO BE PEACEFUL
What will you rather choose to replace peace in your heart? Did I hear you say, Nothing? Then you are
right. There is nothing in this whole earth that can substitute peace for you. A peaceful life is a reflection of
Gods indwelling presence. Whatever you have that is punctuated with peace can be assumed to be from God. Peace
is the only attribute God the Father says that the wicked will not have. Jesus is known as the Prince of peace. The
devil does not know peace. And how can he know what he does not have? For the disciples to be relevant to their
generation, the first thing the Lord Jesus bestowed upon them was a breadth of His peace. In the beatitudes,
there is a rendering that points the Fatherhood of God to His children; it is that they are peace makers: Blessed
are the peace makers for they shall be called the children of God. When a person dies peacefully, the only
assumption is that the next destination is Heaven. Peace! The world cannot give it!! When you hear nations talk of
peace, they are actually talking of tolerance. Peace is never man formulated. Peace is Gods ordination. It is not
possible for you to be a man of peace and Heaven does not recognize you. To be peaceful does not mean you are
timid and fearful. In fact, someone may be a fear dominated soul and still be completely lacking in peace. Peace is
the manifestation of the calmness originating from the presence of God. Peace is what we all need to be useful to
God on earth. Absolute peace is possible if the word of God has taken a toll of your life.
Jesus said, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives From this scripture, we conclude that the
worlds version of peace is absolutely different from peace from above. The peace of the world is based upon
human reasoning while that from above is based on grace. The absence of peace is an undesirable state to any
people. The Bible recommends that, It is better to dwell on the roof top than to be in a house with a contentious
woman. Jesus came as a peace child and brought you back to the domain of peace where the Father rules.
Without peace, faith has no foundation to operate. Without peace, there is no satisfaction in life. Without peace,
love is an alien. Without peace, success is a foreigner to any people. Without peace, the atmosphere is full of
intimidation, fear and panic. Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost; these are the attributes of the
Kingdom of God. These comprise of Gods throne. These reflect the nature of the presence of God. Never be
nonchalant about the need for peace because the effect of its lack can be debilitating. Peace is the air of Heaven.
Peace is the sweet aroma of Gods remarkable and gentle breeze to alert you of His inevitable glory and splendor
that will beautify you and yours. Peace is the revelation of Gods eternal goodness in His revival spree. Peace is
healing in nature. Peace is greater than any gift the world can entice you with. Let us therefore learn to harmonize
our relationship with one another in peace because then can we really claim our positions as sons of God and show
our world what we are capable of. When we live in peace, we are manifesting Joyful Living Experience which is a
manifold presence of God. Beloved, we are all called unto a life of peace. Amen?
