Results and Discussion:

The researchers conducted a survey among 10 respondents in Roosevelt College


Rodriguez. The respondents aged from 12-14. The researchers chose teens as their respondents
because they are to pickiest when it comes to vinegars. Here are the results from their conducted
survey:

Do you agree that our product smells good?

The first question was made by the researchers to distinguish if their product smells good
or not.
Six respondents agreed while four respondents disagreed to the first question. They said it
is because of the vinegars foul and sour smell.

Do you agree that our product tastes good?

Agree; 100%

The second question asked the repondents if the vinegar had the right amount of sourness
and if it contains other undesirable tastes.
Ten out of ten respondents agreed that the product tastes good and they said its because
of the right amount of sourness and a hint of sweetness of the vinegar.

Do you agree that our product is better than the commercial vinegar?

Agree; 100%

The researchers made the third question to identify if their product is better or worse than
other vinegars that are commercially available.
Ten out of ten respondents agreed that the vinegar made of Pineapple peelings is better
than the commercial vinegar. They said that the vinegar made with Pineapple peelings is more
natural and more delicious than the leading brand of commercial vinegar.

Do you agree that our product is affordable?

The fourth question was aimed to ask the respondents if the said product, which costs
only 5 pesos per 200 ml, is affordable compared to the commercial vinegars, which costs an
average of 15 pesos per 200 ml.
All ten respondents agreed that our product is affordable because the ingredients needed
in making the vinegar are relatively cheap and some are even free.

Do you agree that Pineapple peelings can be made into vinegar?

The fifth question asked the respondents if they believe Pineapple peelings could be
made into vinegar.
All of the ten respondents agreed that Pineapple peelings could be made into vinegar
because the survey conductors explained how the Pineapple peelings was made into vinegar.

Do you agree that our product looks acceptable and well made?

The sixth question was made by the researchers to determine if their product looks good
and well made in terms of its color, viscousness and other aesthetic qualities.
Nine out of ten respondents agreed that the vinegar looks acceptable and well made. One
respondent said that the vinegar still has room for improvement.

Do you agree that our product can be sold?

Agree; 100%

This question asked the respondents if they think the said product has commercial
competency.
Ten out of ten respondents agreed that our product can be sold because the vinegar made
with Pineapple peelings tastes more unique than the other vinegars.

Do you agree that our product is a great cleaning material?

Disagree; 10%

Agree; 90%

This eighth question was made by the researchers to determine if their product has the
potential to become a cleaning product too.
Nine out of ten respondents agreed that our product is a great cleaning material while one
respondent did not. The respondent wasnt convinced when he tried it.

Do you agree that our product is nutritious?

Agree; 100%

The ninth question was made by the researchers to recognize if the respondents think
their product has nutritional benefits.
All of the ten respondents agreed that the vinegar with Pineapple peelings is nutritious
because it is made of natural ingredients and it is freshly fermented.

Do you agree that Pineapple Peelings are a better alternative ingredient in vinegar?

Last but not the least, the tenth question was intended to ask the respondents if they think
the Pineapple peelings are better alternative ingredients in making vinegar products.
Nine respondents agreed, and one did not, that pineapple peelings can be a better
alternative ingredient in making vinegar products. The one that disagreed said that the peelings
required several steps to be made into vinegar, making it inconvenient.

To provide proof, the researchers took pictures while they are conducting the survey.
Here are the photos taken:

The researchers chose 10 respondents and they gave them a piece of Chicharon dipped
in the vinegar made with Pineapple peelings. They let them eat the Chicharon and gave them
survey questionnaires. The researchers told them to rate what they had observed on the vinegar.

After they ate the Chicharon dipped in vinegar, the respondents rated the product in the
survey form. They read and answered each question one by one. They even left kind
comments on the form.

After they finished answering the questions on the survey form, the respondents passed
the forms to the researchers and said comments about the product.
