Setup AME Roles for Users:

Login as SYSADMIN and from System Administrator Responsibility run the


process Workflow Directory Services User/Role Validation.
Click on OK for the APP-FND-0006 error messages

Set the Parameters Fix dangling user/roles and Add missing user/rile
assignments to Yes.
Make sure that the process completes normally
Run Concurrent program Synchronize WF LOCAL tables. Make sure that the
process completes normally
Assign User Management responsibility to SYSADMIN User. This
responsibility is used to assign the Roles to a particular User
Login to responsibility User Management
Assign Roles to users: Login as SYSADMIN and go to User
ManagementUsers
o Query on the user name
o Click on Update
o Click on Assign Roles

o Search by Roll Name and Assign the following AME rolls to the user.
Enter Approval in the search string and click GO. Select the roles listed
below.
Approvals management Administrator (AME Admin User
Responsibility)

Approvals management Administrator (Role inherits Process


Owner role and System Administrator role. Can also create action
type and can modify default config variables.)

Approvals Management Business Analyst (Role which gives full


access to business dashboard pages. Does not have Default config
variable access and Action Type Create Access.)

Approvals Management System Viewer (Role has access to


admin dashboard with view only access.)

Approvals Management System Administrator (Role can create,


update or delete transaction types. Also inherits System Viewer.
Can access Exceptions log and config variables.)

Approvals Management Process Owner (Role can view all


business dashboard view pages)

o Click Select to apply the role selections.


o Enter the Justification for the role selection (i.e. Granting access to Apps
Sysadmin User.) Enter the same for each role selected.
o Click Save.
o Click Apply.

Grant Data access to users


o Login as SYSADMIN
o Select the Functional Administrator responsibility
o Select the Grants tab
o Click on Create Grant
o Enter AME Grants to < HR Name >
o Select Specific User as grantee type
o Enter the HR name as it appears in Oracle HR as grantee key .You may
also search for the record by entering just the last name.
o Under Data Security, select AME Transaction Types as object
o Click Next.
o Select All Rows as Data Context Type.
All Rows: This grants access to all AME Transaction Types to the
User

Instance: This grants access to a specific AME Transaction Type


specified by the following parameters: FND_APPLICATION_ID
Application ID of the application to which the transaction type
belongs; TRANSACTION_TYPE_ID Unique identifier of the
AME Transaction type within the application
Instance Set: This grants access to one or more AME Transaction
Types specified by the following parameters
Use the predefined instance set AME Transaction Type
Instance Set
In the next page, select FND_APPLICATION_ID as
Parameter1 and a wild card search string for
TRANSACTION_TYPE_ID as Paarmeter2
Click Next.
On the next page there will be three options for instance type: Enter AME
Calling Applications as the permission set.
Click Next.
Review record and click the Finish button.
