Jakes Sermon: The Crown is Coming to Ziklag

(Read 1 and 2 Samuel) But David encouraged himself in the Lord His God. (I Samuel 30:6b)
Have you ever had to encourage yourself? Your children didn't do it, husband didn't; your wife didn't do it. You had to
do it! Hell was coming in for the kill. Satan said, "I got her this time!" Weeping may endure for a night but JOY comes in
the morning.

Some people get beaten in the battle and some people get better! Come on enemy, attack me!
Something about [the enemy] jumping on you ignites your flame. You were gonna quit but the devil jumped on
you.
Some folk you have to love 'em and keep going. I'm sorry baby you fainted but I gotta keep going.
Stop feeling guilty because you renewed your strength. Just because [other] folk gave up and you didn't, keep
going.
I don't have time to pat you on your back, encourage yourself!
It's not how many you got with you, it's how tough the few are, that you have left.

If you've been through battle after battle, after battle, after battle faced disappointment, fear ,adversity and trauma you've experienced trouble for a long period in your life, something is about to happen.
God Said: (Whoever this is for) You've got less help than you had before but you are going to do more with it than you
did before. Use what you've got left; two fish and five loaves; a pot of oil, manna. God is going to use what you have left
to get the victory!

This is your year to take less and do more with it. Pray for more: more grace, more power, more enablement,
more victory.
You will do more with less; less friends, less support and less money; take these fish and loaves and multiply it
for an increase.

David beat the Amalekites. Home from Ziglak about two days.

You have been through hell and high water, trouble after trouble, but this is your shifting year.
Time is up; I'm coming out of this. I'm coming out ...
Coming out with more; more faith, more power, more tenacity, more commitment.
David said, You mean God had me in Ziklag, going through all this hell for a reason... He held me there, delayed
me but I had to stay in Ziklag because something is about to happen.
Don't quit, stay right there. The crown is coming to Ziklag. If you hold on... everything God promised you will
meet you in the place of your pain.
Show me the place of your greatest pain and I'll show you the place of your greatest promotion.
The devil has tried you to the breaking point and I'll show you the place of your prophetic destiny.
God said to tell you, you don't have to go to the crown, the crown is coming to you!
So the Word of the Lord is to stand still and see the Salvation of the Lord. You don't have to go to it, it is coming
to you.

Say, "Come here!" Come Here!" Call every promise, call every prophecy, and call every blessing.
It reads like David was in Ziklag 20 years. I was shocked to know he was only there four months. In a short period you
can go through a lot of stuff and come close to quitting . . .
2 Samuel 1:8-10
"He said to me, 'Who are you?' And I answered him, 'I am an Amalekite.' Then he said to me, 'Please stand beside me
and kill me, for agony has seized me because my life still lingers in me.' So I stood beside him and killed him, because I
knew that he could not live after he had fallen. And I took the crown which was on his head and the bracelet which was
on his arm, and I have brought them here to my lord."
(David questioning Sauls killer.) What's the matter with you that you did not fear to kill God's anointed? You should
have been too afraid of God to kill God's man.
Listen to this conundrum. (It had been prophesied that Saul would be killed). But, woe unto you if the offense comes
through you or [by your hands]. Even if you know God is going to remove somebody, don't let it come through you. Let
God take care of it, He will.

There is a shift coming in your life. The only thing left will be the crown. The crown is coming to Ziklag.
Ziklag is the place nobody wants to go. It's the place you have to encourage yourself. The place you want to die,
the place you want to quit, you're about to break.
This came, now this and now that (troubles). The folk you thought were with you left you. The crown has come
to Ziklag.
Cry if you must, but don't move. Having done all to stand, don't you move until you get your crown.
God said, when I send the crown, I will send the power to the place of your pain.
Until you can deal with your pain you won't receive your crown. Your power is in your pain.

Final Word
Ziklag can be in your own house. It can be that college course or business partner. God said, Out of the pain will come
the promise.
