IS THE WORK OF AL HAMILTON & OUTREACH INTERNATIONAL WORTHY OF YOUR SUPPORT?

^ 3 &^/

PLEASE READ

THESE EXCERPTS FROM LETTERS WRITTEN ABOUT OR TO AL HAMILTON WHICH WILL VERIFY THAT IT IS.

ALBERT E. ALLEN, MINISTER; PARADISE VALLEY CHRISTIAN CHURCH; CASPER, WYOMING:

"I have known A1 Hamilton as a friend and co-worker now for 19 years.

He has consistently

inspired men and women to seek the white harvest in the harder places of the world...A1 has
probably led more people into the mission fields than anyone else in our brotherhood. He
has made a missionary of my son, Pat, who said, 'He is the most selfless man I've ever met.'
The Hamiltons are a good investment for the Kingdom.
I have supported, do support, and our
Church has supported for 19 years the work of this inspirational man. Would you help, too?"
BOARD OF DIRECTORS; PIONEER BIBLE TRANSLATORS; DUNCANVILLE, TEXAS; BARTON L. MC ELROY, PRES.:

"Dear Al...We are writing you this letter to tell you that we want to continue carrying your
name as Founder of Pioneer Bible Translators...There is a

concensus within our Board of Dir

ectors that we owe you deep gratitude for calling attention to the need for Bible translation
in many places in the world.
You have done a real service to the Christian Churches/Churches

of Christ in that you initiated concrete action to meet this real need...May God bless you in
your missionary work,"
(This letter was signed by every Director present at the meeting.)
KENNETH E.

SMYTH, MISSIONARY TO ASIA IN HONG KONG:

"...Not only was it a blessing to have A1 here to help us in the work, but I appreciate him
in a particular way for the things he demonstrated by his example and shared in word concern
ing the Christian family. We saw how he related to his own daughters (Sonja & Karen). We
saw him with our own children and others' children. I heard A1 and his daughters praising
their wife and mother (Annette) for her commitment and love. I learned about (his) family's
goal to have the individual family members serving the Lord around the world..."
WONG YAN WING; CHINESE CHRISTIAN SEMINARY; HONG KONG:

"...Al, as a promoter and leader, your experience and dedication to the Lord would be inval
uable in motivating the students here at the Seminary into more widespread evangelism...You
will be able to open more doors and contact some foreigners who are Christians working in
China and use that connection for us to go and preach...God bless you and your family in the
work you are doing."

Just thought I would coin a few phrases you may be

Things in Singapore are beginning to develop. I have

found a house to rent, since the other missionary here plans

to move to a

city apartment he and his wife will rent the house

they have been renting to us.

That means we will have 3 bed

rooms more than we had at Christian City.

It will be a long

hot summer (all of Aug.) until Annette and the girls get here

to join the work, but Jonathan, number 1 son_, plans to come over

around the 25th.

again,

It is good to get back in the foreign field

YOUR faithful support has encouraged us to take on

this challenge, and get closer to S.E. Asia, China incl. and
help the church here in Singapore, during the 6 month absence
of missionarys Rich and Joann Sheely.

The church here has

received me well, and there are 6 young men who are helping
with the preaching, I hope to be of some help to them. Mission
motivation is needed, so we should be of some help in that
area.

The church here has about 100 members, and they

have some home study groups as well.

yet, but a lot of willing workers.

have us on board.

No elders or deacons

They seem pleased to

We (the church here and I ) plan to get

an application for work permits in to the proper authorities

this week, Lord willing.

Have had some rain last two days,

wish we could send it your way.

I want to thank you all, and especially those who
took on our financial over-hang ^'I guess that could be

called a hang-over too, from the last three years, so we could

make this necessary trip. There are about thirty of you,
so don^t fail us now, your amount may not seem big to you,
but put in with each other, we can expect $1500 min. monthly
support, and I have begun the teaching and will preach the

first time here in Singapore on Sun. 7th, Lord willing.

Annette is finishing up the Children work at Christian City

and along with Sonja and Karen to accompany her to this

new venture, Lord willing will be here to begin Singapore

status in a little over 3 weeks. Thanks again for yur

support. We notice that Isa. 3: 12 applies to the USA today.

So we will also pray for you in USA. We will not venture to

speak of anything except what the Lord does thru us in lead

ing people to obey the Gospel .

y/j

The Lord be with you all.

Christians Brothers and Sisters,

The enclosed letter just arrived from A1 in Singapore.

Things are looking great
over there.
The Lord seems to be leading and blessing us as we go.

Karen, Sonja and I are to leave here (Christian City) the week of the 24th and
go by car to Dallas (actually Bedford , Texas) and spend a few days with the
Church there.

Then on the 31st of August, we fly out of the Dallas-Ft Worth airport

for Singapore.
Sonja plans to be there with us fcr at least a month and
then she will go to Hong Kong. Karen will be with us to help in the work there
in Singapore since she is so good speaking Mandarin. We're really looking
forward to this time with the girls .

While we are over seas, we have a fine Christian couple here at Christian City

who is going to do our forwarding work both for the mission (Outreach International)
and for us personally.
Therefore you can use the same address
(P.O. Box 490055
Atlanta, Ga
30349) for us.
We are going to try to get out phone number
moved to their house also.

If there is any change in it we will let you know.

The number is (404) 963-3898.

Thank you so much for

you support both financially and prayerfully.

You

have truly been a blessing to us and we are priviledged to be co-workers with

for Christ our Saviour.

Sincerely Yours,
In Him ^

A1 and Annette Hamilton
