CURF Summer Intern & Founding Editor of The Bell: Proposed and developed a new literary
magazine for 7-12th grade Philadelphia writers and artists. Designed and coded the
magazines website, created promotional materials and recruited staff members. Currently
establishing partnerships with local nonprofits and schools, as well as overseeing the
Editorial Staff.

W.S. Jones & Associates, April 2014 to Present

Freelance Editor/Consultant: Edit and write content for brochures, flyers, and all online
marketing. Design and send out email blasts to insurance agents.

Marks Family Writing Center, January 2012 to Present

Writing Tutor: Offer feedback and guidance to University of Pennsylvania students
regarding writing assignments or personal statements. Visit classes to promote the writing
center. Attended intensive, semester-long seminar on writing pedagogy, peer tutoring, and
the revision process.

University of Washington Summer Youth Program, summer of 2012 and 2013

Group Leader: Responsible for up to twenty-three elementary and middle school age
students. Assisted instructors in running green energy and geology-related projects and
lessons; led recreational activities.

Kumon Learning Center, July 2009 to August 2011

Junior Kumon Instructor: Directed Junior Kumon Program, assisted students ages three to
seven in reading and math assignments and enrichment activities, evaluated students and
