Team Ratio

Executive Summary
This document outlines the summary of kickoff meeting held at Janaki Group office
and details the project phases and implementation methodology which is being
adopted by Ratiocination India.
In the above said meeting, the core team from client side has been
Finalized and the activities and timelines required by them is discussed.

Steering committee
Steering committee is the highest level of authority in the project. This consists of
management from both JANAKI Group and Ratiocination. Steering committee is the
highest level of escalation also.
This committee takes the decisions regarding the project status and consists of
project sponsor who is the Managing director of JANAKI.

Responsibilities
The SC is responsible for project control and project coordination
as well as for efficient technical and organizational decisionmaking.
In SC meetings, project management reports on the project
status and introduces relevant issues that have to be decided by the
SC.
The SC assures that resources necessary for the projects success
are available.
The SC is the last escalation level for issues and problems (conflict
management).
The SC is responsible for budget release and assumes highest-level
costs and budget control.
The SC is responsible for final inspection and approval of all project
results.

Core Team
Core team consists of employees and management of JANAKI Group. This team is
identified as the SAP team within the organization and they work with Ratiocination
implementation team.
They attend SAP workshops and also share their expertise and knowledge in
respective fields and help team Ratio to complete the project successfully. The core
team consists of following Roles

Business Owner
Business Owner is the head of a department. He makes the policies along with the
management and responsible for the operations of that department. He is identified
as Business owner for a particular department in core team.

Process Owner
Process Owner is the operational guy who executes the policies made by Business
Owner. He is the person who is in charge of the processes in a department.

Business User
Business User is the end user in a department. He interacts with SAP system for
day to day transactions. He is the person who inputs data into SAP systems. He
needs to be trained on a particular module and the workflows.

Project Manager

The PM is responsible for the overall execution and success of the


project.
The PM executes technical and operational project management.
The PM is responsible for the coordination of technical and
operational interfaces.
The PM is responsible for risk management.
The PM effectively schedules, organizes, and moderates project
meetings.
The PM monitors and tracks overall progress and results of the
project.

The PM efficiently communicates and coordinates with the Steering


Committee.

Implementation Methodology
Team Ratio follows ASAP Methodology which is a proven SAP methodology.

Project Preparation Phase


This is the initial phase where the teams are set. The tasks are as follows.
Customer Project Manager:
Review project plans and activities with SAP project manager
Communicate project status to executive project sponsor and
project team
Manage customer project resources
Manage issue resolution process
Review training/change management guide
Coordinate technical environment set up
Customer Technical Team Members:
Work with technical consultant on installation of sandbox system
Customer Business Team Representatives:
Data cleansing
Data preparation
