Pastors Notes:
Were going to do what?
FAST? Thats right! This
will be our 6th year doing a
corporate fast (at least in this form). It is a
time in which our whole church comes together to do this most important spiritual thing.
Jesus said that some things only come about but by prayer and fasting. Over the last 3
Sunday nights, we have talked about kinds of fasts, who fasted, lengths of Biblical fasts and
the different between individual and corporate fasts. Now the time has come to make our
decision and start the fast. I had been announcing that the fast would begin on February
15, but I would like to bump that to February 16. Midnight Sunday night, the 21 day
fasting time will begin. I am asking every member and friend of our church to join us.
You may not be able to fast food due to health issues, but surely we all can find something
to fast. We can find something to push away from and spend that time alone with God.
For the sake of personal revival and church revival, I am BEGGIN YOU to join us in this
fast. I truly believe that this can make all the difference in the world in whether we
experience the move of God we need or not. Do not let anything keep you from join with
us.
Sunday night, you will have an opportunity to fill out a fasting card and lay it on the altar
area. You will only be putting down the things for which you will be fasting. Everyone will
have REVIVAL on their card, but the rest of the lines you will fill in. Prayerfully consider
how you will fast during the 21 days and what you are fasting for. Thank you in advance
for being part of this most holy time.

We had about 3 or 4 men express an interest in a Bible Study with Pastor Terry. This will be a
time for meeting in a neutral place in hopes that we can grow spiritually but also an
opportunity to invite some new converts or possibly some unsaved men to join us for coffee or
tea and just dive into the Word for conversation and growth. Please, set aside some time for a
most wonderful time to fellowship and grow in Christ. Just another few weeks and well make
a decision as the meeting time. If you would like to be part, sent an email to
PastorT@charter.net.
There will be a meeting about our Spring Fest, Thursday February 19th. All those that have
been meeting with us need to bring the items you were assigned to get information about. If
you would like to join with us in helping to play out this event, join us at 7:00 PM. Wed love to
have you!!!!!! We got great things to do on that weekend!

Please help us It has been brought to our attention that there might be some people parking in
specifically reserved parking places for VISITORS & HANDICAPPED. Please make sure that we
allow our visitors the special honor of parking in those places. We are honored to have them come
worship with us and we want to make them feel special. We also have some members & friends that
truly have difficulty and need to park as closely to the door as possible. Please help us make sure
that we keep those handicapped spaces for those in need of them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR
UNDERSTAND AND COOPERATION!

Dear Church:
I would like to thank each and every one from the bottom of our hearts for all the Prayers,
visits, cards, phone calls and flowers during the time of sickness and death of my Brother,
Charles Hughes. Gods grace is sufficient in our times of need and again I say thank you
and God bless.

Sister2Sister Talk with Lisa Terry

That..looks..so..good..on..you.
Have you ever been told that? Maybe someone liked your blouse or the color you were wearing.
Maybe you had on some new shoes and you got compliments on them. We all like to be told we
look nice.
Do you want to know what looks good on everyone? Its the right size. Its the right color. It is
fashionable and never goes out of style.
It is PRAISE. When we PRAISE the Lord, it makes us look GOOD.
Psalm 33:1 says Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
That means Praise is becoming to those who are living right. Praise looks good on you. Dont
you want to look your best? Wear Praise. Praise the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.
Rejoice in the greatness of the Lord and youll always look awesome.

We have several projects coming up and the first one is on February 21st. Yall get with Paul
Lundberg if you plan on helping. The other will be planned by Philip Pruitt and that date will be
set soon so watch the bulletin for further details.

best dresses, etc. Each person is asked to bring some finger foods. This should be lots of FUN!
There will be sign-up sheet is on our bulletin board in the hallway at church. Please invite others
that don't usually participate as people hesitate until someone extends a personal invitation and
shows an interest in getting them involved so they can get to know others in the church.
