Dear Friends,,

Greetings inthe name of our Lord Jesus Christ from the Hamilton family herein Texas. We hopeyou are all doing
well. We appreciate all your work andthe ministry that your are doing. Sheila andI wantto thank youfor all your
prayers and for letting people know of our needs during mytransplant time. TheLord has honored allthe prayers of
His people.

I am doing real good these days. My recoveryhas been going wonderful. I have had no problems at allsincemy
transplant. I am taking a lot of medications, anti-rejection drugs, etc.. There are a few minorside effects but nothing
serious. So far I have hadnot sign's of rejection either. Praise the Lord for that. The Lord has really blessed my
health. We praise God for a new chance to livewhateverdays He gives me. I am keeping busy with rehab, clinic
days in Dallas, and of course, being a new father.
Sheilaand our new little daughter. Crystal, are both doingjust great. We thank God for that miracle too. Iwasjust
feeling good enough to be able to get around again when Crystal was bom. She was bom on May 31 and weighed 5
pounds 13 once's and was 91 1/2 inches long. Crystal was a month early but healthy and doing fine.
I am sendingyou a couple of pictures. We were not sure if you wanted a picture of us or me in the hospital but we
thought you could at least show them to the staff and they could see who they were praying for. We know that
people all round the world were praying for me. We sure thank you for helping get the word around about our
needs.

May the Lord bless you as you continue to serve Him. You have been a blessing.

Your Servants,

Jonathan and Sheila Hamilton

t^^lcome Stacy Garner, who will be working full

time with Outreach International as of August. This will be a

tremendous blessing to the recruiting and training side of the
work as the ministry of Outreach is growing. Stacy just

recently made a trip to visit our team in Southeast Asia. The

visit was helpful in many ways as it provided an

encouragement to the team members. Stacy was also able to

see the work there first hand and therefore he will be more

informed about this field and work when recruiting for it! Stacy will be working
out of St. Louis Christian College and traveling to schools and campus ministries to

help recruitfor Outreach InternationaTs currentfields ofservice. Please be praying

for Stacy as he raises his support and during this transitional time! We are looking
forward to him becoming a part of the Outreach International/ Youth Educational

as they spend their furlough time

Sheila and 1 can hardly believe thai ii has

been six months since my double lung
transplant. I am doing just great. Last
week when I had my six month checkup,
the doctor said that there was no problems
at all. My bronchoscopy went very well
and did not show any signs of infection,
rejection, or any other problems. They
said that even my bone density test came
back normal, which they said was unusual.
We just praise the Lord for a clean bill of
health. On top of all of that, I feel wonder
ful. That felt good. I am exercising regu
larly every day and spending about three
hours each day taking medications. Of
course that is a small thing and the Lord
uses that to keep me going, so thank the

the missionary convention as we had

planned. Sheila came down with bron
chitis and some sinus problems two
days before we were to leave. I took
care of Sheila and Crystal for the week
end. We were so glad that Sonja,
Karen and Toai were able to go and
take care of things there for us. Son,ja
did a great job of speaking for me at
the missionary breakfast on Friday
morning. We thank Walter Birney for
the opportunity to share and I espe
cially thank Sonja for taking my place

God for medications and treatments etc.

We want to thank each one of you for your

faithful prayers and support which the Lord

BETHEL OFFICE PERSONNEL

Toai and Karen Nguyen are living up in
Bethel Missiouri where dad, mom, and

Sonja are. They are planning to return

to Southeast Asia in about one years
time. Lord willing. They hope to have
papers for Toai to be able to travel back
and forth between here and there by
that time. They have also lost support
due to their living link church redirect

ing funds to another missionary from

the local congregation. Pray for them
as they travel and speak.

Sonja is doing a great job as the U.S.A.

director. She is working full time at
the office as secretary etc. Sonja is still
doing some recruiting too. She helps
with the local church there at Bethel

which keeps her busy as well.

Dad and mom are also keeping busy
with the O.I. work and Bethel Christian

Church. Dad is ministering at the

church as well as keeping up with re

cruiting and training missionaries etc.

This has been a year of surprises and

delights for us. We have sure enjoyed what God
has done In our lives. We want to thank each of

you who has prayed for us throughout this year.

This has also been a year where we learned
patience...just to wait and see what it was that
God had in store for us.
