Heres how to use our two new formulations of AtomicGrow on citrus crops! These
new
products improve on previous versions of colloidal micelle technology
Weve been working four years with Danny Via, owner of the orange grove on the right side
of the fence in the photo above. This photo was taken in November 2010, and Vias grove has
grown even healthier and more productive since with the help of a sound nutrition program
mobilized with nano-micelle technology.Via applies foliar fertility pre-bloom, post-bloom and
then four appli-cations at 6-week intervals during the summer. He applies 5-0-9 using our
biologically based sur-factant in 50 gallons of water per acre.Traces include zinc, manganese,
iron and magnesium. No copper needed. In fertigation water, he uses 9-0-9. Neighbors are
noticing the exceptional health of this grove on Pine Level Road, Arcadia, Florida.
4. Translocation benefit: Atomic enters photosynthetic leaf cells, it reduces surface tension of the sugar-rich plant
sap. This nutrient solution becomes easier to "pump" from leaves to roots or new growing points. This saves energy,
and keeps sugars flowing freely out of leaves. More sugar flows to roots, where part of it is exuded into soil,
stimulating a microbial bloom which converts more soil nutrients to plant-available forms.
Our research challenge the past two years has been to find the formula delivering the ideal surface tension
reduction within the crop, when sprayed with foliar nutrients. Surface tension of moisture in crop xylem tubes can
be dropped too far, especially on young crops. That can temporarily constrain capillary uptake of moisture from
roots.
The grower managing this grove has been using our technology for
four years. He has upgraded his fertility program to meet the
needs of healthier trees and higher yield. This year the grower has
a large potential yield and no fruit drop. Also there are no visible
signs of HLB, so the fertility program and healthy tree circulation
are well established. We will do brix testing of leaves and fruit later
this sea-son when the fruit is mature.
It takes time to heal a tree which has been subjected for years
to heavy applications of commercial fertilizers, pesticides,
fungicides and ground-applied glyphosate. Many groves have
had extensive applications of copper for disease control.
Gradually, the phloem and xylem pathways are compromised,
somewhat like the arteries and veins of a person loaded with cholesterol (a bodys defense response against inflammation).
Colloidal cell technology a nano-sized micelle with positive
and negative charges on each micelle acts as an internal
cleanser and chelating agent to clear nutrient pathways in a tree.
That can take several seasons. Fortunately, colloidal micelle
programs are very reasonable in cost per acre, especially in
relation to potential returns on healthy citrus groves.
