PHASE I RENOVATIONS:
Phase I of the renovations, completed prior
to Spring Training 2014, included a new
residential player development academy,
extensive renovations to the Minor League
clubhouse and administrative areas, a new
playing field, new agility field, an expanded
seating capacity and the completion of
a 360-degree boardwalk with new berm
seating in left field. These renovations further
differentiate and enhance the Minnesota
Twins training and development experience.
PHASE II RENOVATIONS:
Phase II of the renovations, completed for
2015 Spring Training, includes substantial
changes to Hammond Stadium that will
reshape the fan experience, including
expanded and upgraded concourses,
improved concessions and restrooms and a
new retail store. Additional renovations
include upgraded premium seating, new
suites with improved views, additional spaces
for group seating, a press box renovation and
clubhouse expansion, further enhancing the
experience for visitors and players alike.

Concourses expanded from between 17 21 to 45 - 68, with trellis shade structure

bowl seating and kitchenettes
PREMIUM AMENITIES:
Addition of new seating experiences, 1,236
seats on the boardwalk, some of which are
drink rail seating stations and 6 party /
group spaces
BARS:
Two additional bars added, one along the
left field line and one in right field
GROUP SEATING:
New 6,500-square-foot group deck at 1st
base and 3,400-square-foot group deck at
3rd base
RESTROOMS:
Expanded bathroom structures, with an
additional 70 urinals and water closets
SITE:
92 acre site
CONCESSIONS:
Four expanded concessions at stadium,
with two new concessions on boardwalk,
totaling 31 points of sale
SUSTAINABILITY:
OFFICE SPACE:
New 2,500-square-foot MLB office suite
and 1,900-square-foot MiLB suite
CLUBHOUSE EXPANSION:
Renovated clubhouse with new lockers,
showers, weight room, training facility,
hydrotherapy room and administration
areas, along with a players lounge and
press dining area
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT ACADEMY:
The residential player development
academy creates a year-round, multidiscipline residential training center for
players and staff and differentiates the
Twins from other training experiences. The
residential component of the academy has
been funded by the Twins organization,
who contributed $6 million and will provide
dorm-like housing for players.
ADDITIONAL TRAINING COMPONENTS:
New agility field added, new 190 x 115
running hill, new Gulf Coast League practice
field that matches Target Field outfield
wall dimensions and new video coaching
cameras and WiFi throughout 7 practice fields
LOCAL IMPACT:
Spring Training in Lee County contributes
more than $47 million to the local economy,
with $23 million of that coming from Twins
attendees. It also results in 970 jobs, $21
million in household income, $2.3 million
in local government revenue and $4.4
million in state government revenue.
