Apparatus for controlling atmospheric humidity

ESTRATTO
An apparatus for modification of the atmospheric humidity profile via creating updrafts of moistened air is
provided. The apparatus is based on a capacitor of a Van der Graaf generator which, with the aid of air
ionizers comprising a source of alpha particles, produces a unipolar atmospheric electric current of a
magnitude sufficient to achieve selective moisture transport. Operating such an apparatus augments or
creates a moisture updraft, which may lead to the formation of new clouds and/or an increase in
supersaturation in existing clouds, thus enhancing the development of precipitation and/or facilitating the
inflow of the evaporated moisture from a water reservoir inland.

1. An apparatus comprising:
a Van der Graaf generator having a capacitor and a charging engine; and
one or more air ionizers disposed in the vicinity of the capacitor.
2. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more air ionizers are disposed on the surface of the
capacitor.
3. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the elevation distance of the capacitor is approximately less or equal to
an ion propagation distance of the ion ionizers.

4. The apparatus of claim 2, wherein the one or more air ionizers are disposed along the bottom half of the
capacitor.
5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein a ventilation hole is positioned substantially near the top of the
capacitor.
6. The apparatus of claim 5 further comprising at least one fresh air conduit.
7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein an outlet of one or more conduits extends into a maximum ionization
zone.
8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the one or more air ionizers comprise one or more sources of high
energy particles.
9. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein at least one fresh air conduit is mounted through a hole in the center of
the one or more air ionizers.
10. The apparatus of claim 8, wherein the source of high energy particles comprises

DESCRIZIONE
FIELD OF INVENTION
The present invention is generally directed to an apparatus for creating an upward flux of moistened air for
use in the field of weather modification.
BACKGROUND OF THE ART
At present, weather modification methods, known as seeding methods, are generally based on introducing
small particles of a specific medium into clouds. The particles of seeding media are typically delivered to
clouds by airborne carriers such as aircrafts or rockets, or with the aid of natural updrafts such as orographic
lifting. Seeding methods are also deployed for the dissipation of fog, which is actually a cloud with no bottom
boundary when located on the surface of the Earth. Clouds consist of water droplets, ice particles, or a
mixture of both, suspended in the air, which are formed when the air temperature falls below dew point,
causing relative humidity (RH) of the air to exceed 100%, i.e. vapor supersaturation.
There are two primary ways to seed clouds. The first method is based on enhancing the coalescence (a
process of merging droplets into bigger ones) of the rain formation process. Seeding particles introduced into
a cloud grow in size by coalescing with droplets in their path, eventually becoming large and heavy enough
to fall as precipitation. The second method of seeding clouds employs the ice-crystal (Bergeron) process.
Small particles of silver iodide are introduced into a cloud that generally contains both ice crystals and

supercooled water droplets. Silver iodide particles are ice nuclei since they act like ice crystals by depositing
vapor onto themselves. As the equilibrium vapor pressure over ice is lower than that over water, ice nuclei
may further grow at the expense of surrounding liquid droplets, absorbing more vapor compared to the case
of condensation. The growing crystals eventually become heavy enough to fall as precipitation.
Alternative methods for cloud and fog modification are based on enhancing coalescence by introducing
electric forces via droplet charging or deploying other charged aerosols.
Numerical modeling and experimental observations suggest that, to be effective in enhancing coalescence,
charged aerosol particles (typically droplets) should each carry hundreds of elementary charges. Such
droplets are referred to hereinafter as supercharged droplets. Approaches to the problem have focused on
creating devices to supercharge droplets which are then to be used as seeding media for cloud modification.
In practice, however, producing supercharged droplets at the rate required to seed a reasonable volume of
cloudy or foggy air would meet with severe engineering difficulties. Seeding charged particles into clouds, as
with any traditional seeding technique, usually requires deploying airborne carriers which leads to high
associated costs. Furthermore, seeding large volumes of cloudy air may need to be repeated due to the
limited lifetime of the supercharged state of particles. Some other problems associated with dispensing
highly charged particles into the atmosphere have been discussed in detail by Vonnegut at al. (1967).
Accordingly, there is still a need in the art for improved methods and devices for weather modification.
SUMMARY
The inventive apparatus for weather modification may be used to create upward moisture flux, which may
cause modification of the vertical humidity profile by increasing relative humidity at higher altitudes at the
expense of drying the air near the surface of the Earth. The process may occur even in a stable atmosphere
when the convective updrafts normally responsible for the vertical transport of humid air do not form. An
upward moisture flux achieved by deploying the inventive apparatus may lead to the formation of new clouds
and/or to supersaturation in existing clouds, thus enhancing the development of precipitation and/or
facilitating the inflow of the evaporated moisture from a water reservoir inland.
The instant apparatus comprises a Van der Graaf generator (VDGG) having a capacitor and grounded
charging engine and one or more air ionizers, such as a source of alpha particles, located in the vicinity of
the capacitor. Preferably, the elevation distance of the capacitor is equal to about the ion propagation
distance. The one or more air ionizers are disposed along the bottom half of the capacitor.
To improve efficiency of the inventive apparatus, a ventilation hole may be positioned substantially near the
top of the capacitor and at least one fresh air conduit may be provided to facilitate fresh air supply from
inside the capacitor. Preferably, at least one fresh air conduit is provided near each of the one or more air
ionizers. The fresh air conduits may be positioned on each air ionizers or between about an alpha particle
range to two times the alpha particle range from the air ionizers.
The apparatus may be powered by a source of renewable energy.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES

FIG. 1 shows the effect of the increased collision cross-section for water molecules due to attractive electric
forces.
FIG. 2 presents one embodiment of the inventive apparatus.
FIG. 3 presents a plot for air ionization by a source of radiation as a function of distance from this source.
FIG. 4 presents a plot for atmospheric current produced by a source of radiation in the electric field between

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
Under certain conditions atmospheric vapor may be out of aerostatic equilibrium, which results in an upward
force being exerted on a volume of air (Makarieva et al., 2007). Conditions for this process include (1)
evaporation that is sufficiently intensive, in particular to saturate vapor through the atmospheric column up to
a sufficiently high altitude; and (2) the atmospheric temperature lapse rate =T/z (reduction of temperature
T with altitude z) being greater than a critical value o=TsMwg/Qw, where Ts is the absolute dew point

temperature at the surface of the Earth, Mw=1.810 kg mol is the molar mass of water, g=9.8 ms is the

acceleration of gravity, and Qw=44 kJ mol is the molar latent heat of evaporation for water. At sea level,

standard temperature Ts=288 K. (+15 C.), the value for o is 1.15 K km and o does not typically exceed
1

1.3 K km . The condition >o is satisfied in most cases of ambient values of and T, even for absolutely
1

stable layers (o<<6 K km ) when convection typically does not occur.

At any altitude, actual vapor pressure eventually cannot exceed the pressure of saturated vapor as any
moisture excess in the air is removed by vapor-to-liquid and possibly vapor-to-ice phase transition
processes. This limitation on vapor pressure, governed by the vertical temperature profile where > o,
assures that at any altitude the partial pressure of vapor is greater than the pressure of vapor mass in the
atmospheric column above this altitude, bringing the vapor out of aerostatic equilibrium. In terms of
differential equations this means that the vertical gradient of the partial pressure of vapor is greater than the
weight of a unit volume of vapor at any altitude. This difference appears as a force acting on a volume of
moist air, causing an updraft.
The abovementioned removal of excess moisture in a volume of air by phase transitions occurs when the
partial pressure of vapor at an altitude initially exceeds the vapor saturation pressure at a temperature
determined by a given temperature profile. The air becomes supersaturated with vapor and thus subject to a
phase transition. Condensation of vapor into liquid water starts on atmospheric aerosol particles acting as
condensation nuclei, which grow into liquid droplets at the expense of vapor until the air is no longer
supersaturated. Areas of droplet-laden air appear as clouds. Droplets may further be merged, via the

collection of smaller droplets by a larger droplet (collector) that is moving, usually due to the force of gravity.
This process, known as coalescence, causes droplets to grow until they are large enough to fall as rain.
At temperatures below the freezing point for water (0 C.), droplets are super-cooled, i.e. they may remain in
a liquid state down to extremely low temperatures (as low as 39 C.). Some super-cooled droplets may
freeze and further grow by freezing the vapor onto ice, via a process known as deposition. Deposition of
vapor is a phase transition process, in this sense analogous to condensation. Ice particles may also merge
with super-cooled droplets and drops, causing the latter to freeze. This process of collecting ice and liquid
water particles into larger ice particles, called riming, in this sense is analogous to coalescence, but is also a
phase transition (liquid water to ice) process. These processes of supersaturated moisture removal and
release of latent heat at temperatures below the freezing point of water will be additional to the
condensational moisture removal and latent heat release. Furthermore, such ice-related processes may be
dominant over condensation in forming the updraft under consideration as vapor deposition pressure in the
presence of ice particles is lower than the vapour condensation pressure in the presence of liquid droplets,
and particle collection via riming, in contrast to coalescence of droplets, is accompanied by the release of
additional latent heat. The produced ice-based particles may fall as solid precipitation or as rain if they melt
before reaching the surface of the Earth.
Latent heat released in the removal of excess moisture by phase transitions increases the buoyancy of air
and thus augments the initial updraft caused by the discussed aerostatic non-equilibrium of vapor.
Maintaining this process requires a continuous and sufficient supply of vapor from the surface of the Earth. In
contrast, if the atmosphere is stable and, at the same time, the intensity of evaporation on the surface is
insufficient to maintain the above process, which is often the case, an updraft is not produced.
Accordingly, an apparatus is disclosed for providing a continuous upward vapor flux to produce or augment
an updraft of vapor. To achieve this, the instant apparatus causes extraction of the vapor from the air at
lower altitudes to moisten the air at higher altitudes.
Without being bound by theory, it is believed that a mechanism of selectively transporting the water vapor
component of atmospheric air, which is responsible for such modification of the vertical humidity profile, is as
follows. Air molecules acquire a momentum transferred from a moving ion by scattering. In the absence of an
electric field, this process is random (Brownian) and the average macroscopic momentum transfer is zero.
However, if the motion of ions is organized to be in the same direction, e.g. by having unipolar, i.e.,
predominantly of the same sign, ions driven by a sufficiently strong electric field, this ion-to-molecule
momentum transfer appears on a macroscopic scale as a force exerted on the air by the applied
atmospheric electric current, causing the air to flow. This phenomenon is known as ion wind generation.
Applicants have unexpectedly discovered that, under certain conditions, the generated ion wind
accelerates water vapor to a degree significantly higher compared to other air components. In contrast to
molecules of other air components, a molecule of water (H2O) possesses its own electrical dipole moment.
Therefore, when colliding with a charged particle, it experiences a charge-to-dipole interaction additionally to
the short-range Van-der-Vaalse interaction which is common to all air molecules in collision processes. In
this regard, water molecules behave differently during collision (scattering) events on atmospheric ions, and
this difference is described in terms of the collision cross section.

Trajectories of water and non-water molecules are shown in FIG. 1, illustrating the effect of the increased
collision cross-section for a water molecule, moving parallel to axis X at a distance r from it (scattering
distance) towards an air ion of radius R. Non-water molecules moving parallel to the axis X at a distance r
from it can be scattered only if r<R, so R is their maximum scattering distance. In contrast, due to the
additional attractive charge-to-dipole electric force, water molecules with the maximum scattering distance
can also be scattered at R<r<. The effective cross-section for water molecules determined by is larger
than that for other molecules determined by R as >R.
The collision cross-sections ratio of water to non-water molecules, called enhancement factor EF, for a range
of air ion sizes has been estimated by Nadykto et al., (2003). For ions with diameters 0.6 nm and 1.2 nm, the
values for EF were found to be 7 and 2.2 respectively. For the average diameter of air ions of about 0.9 nm,
EF4. For water molecular clusters with dipole moments larger than those of the water molecule H 2O, such
as water dimer (H2O)2 and others ((H2O)n, n>2) which appear in higher concentrations when vapor is closer
to saturation, the values for EF are found to be even higher.
The larger the ion-to-molecule collision cross-section, the larger the number of air molecules that collide with
a moving ion and the larger the total momentum transferred to the molecules from the ion per unit of time.
The total momentum transferred to molecules of a volume of air per unit of time is the macroscopic force
exerted on this volume of air. As the collision cross-section for water molecules is greater (EF>2), and
therefore the ion-to-molecule momentum transfer is also greater, the electric force exerted on water vapor
will be significantly greater compared to other air components. As a result, the vapor moves ahead of other
components in the air flow produced along the electric field lines. This microphysical process of separation of
water vapor from other air components by an atmospheric electric current of unipolar ions (unipolar
atmospheric electric current or UAEC) is referred to hereinafter as selective moisture transport (SMT). The
latter leads to the re-distribution of the available atmospheric vapor and the formation of buoyant parcels of
moistened air.
In general, SMT causes an increase in relative humidity in some areas at the expense of it decreasing in
others from which the moisture was taken, i.e. closer to the origin of UAEC. Although at first it may be not
obvious, an increase in humidity reduces the density of the air and vice versa. This is because the number of
molecules of all components in a volume of air is constant at a given temperature and pressure. Adding or

removing water vapor with a molar mass of 1.810 Kg mol , which is lower than the molar mass of air of
2

about 2.910 Kg mol , will respectively reduce or increase the mass per unit volume of the air, i.e. its
density. According to Archimedes' principle, dehydrated air parcels descend while moisturized ones ascend.
In this way, the moisture separation achieved with the aid of a locally generated UAEC appears as upward
moisture transport on a larger scale, ultimately due to the forces of gravity and reasonably long lifetimes of
air parcels with artificially modified humidity. The ascending moistened air will reach saturation at and above
a certain altitude, and the initial updraft may further be augmented by latent heat release and aerostatic nonequilibrium of vapor as discussed previously.
Generating an atmospheric electric current requires producing atmospheric ions acting as current carriers
and a source of electric field which drives the ions.
All air ionization methods are based on moving electrons between gas molecules. If a gas molecule loses an
electron, it becomes a positively charged molecular ion. If a gas molecule gains an electron, it becomes a

negatively charged molecular ion. Within nanoseconds, molecular ions bind up to 10 molecules of water and
possibly some trace gases, forming small air ions.
Accordingly, the instant apparatus includes one or more air ionizers. Preferably, the air ionizer component
utilizes high energy particles produced in the process of radioactive decay. In general, the radioactive decay
produces alpha, beta, and gamma emissions ionizing the air by moving electrons. Radioactive decay
produces bipolar ionization, i.e., ions of opposite sighs.
Accordingly, the one or more air ionizers comprise a source of high energy particles in form of a radioactive
solid substance. Suitable substances include, but are not limited to, isotopes of americium, polonium,
plutonium, uranium, thorium, actinium, radium, or combinations thereof, with Americium-241 (
Plutonium-239 (

Pu), or Plutonium-238 (

241

Am),

Pu) being the preferred substances. In practice, alloys of the

said isotopes with a corrosion resistant metal compound, for example nickel-chrome based, are preferred.
Alpha radiation is the main source of air ionization by radioactive decay. The alpha particle, a helium nucleus
consisting of two neutrons and two protons, collides with air molecules knocking out electrons, until it loses
its energy over a definite distance in the air. Such a distance, referred to hereinafter as the alpha particle
range, is defined as the distance traveled by the alpha particle before it loses its energy. The alpha particle
range is determined by the energy of alpha particles which is specific for a particular substance of the
source. For example, alpha particles produced by

Am have the energy of about 5.48 MeV and a range of

about 3 cm, limiting the air ionization zone by this distance. Plutonium isotope

239

Pu produces practically only

alpha particles with the energy of about 5.15 MeV.

Air molecules that lose electrons become positive molecular ions. The free electrons do not exist in air for
very long before they are captured by neutral gas molecules, forming negative molecular ions. Molecular
ions are further clustered into small air ions. Alpha ionizers produce bipolar ionization, which means that
positive and negative ions are always created in equal numbers.
Producing ions alone, however, is not sufficient for the SMT to occur, even if they are produced in large
amounts. In order to produce UAEC, an electric field may need to be generated to dissociate ions of
opposite signs and to form an atmospheric electric current of the ions with preferred sign. Accordingly, the
instant apparatus also comprises a static electric field generator.
Generating a static electric field can be achieved by accumulating electric charges of the same sign in some
area of space, typically in an electrically conductive object confining the charges, acting as a charge
capacitor or electrically coupled to a charge capacitor and acting as a charged electrode.
The generated electric field causes ions with the opposite charge as the capacitor to drift towards and
recombine on the capacitor or electrode. For ions with the same charge, this field drives them away from the
capacitor thus forming a UAEC at distances from the capacitor greater than the thickness of the air ionization
zone limited by the alpha particle range. Such a continuous charge separation and removal of ions signed
oppositely to ions of the produced UAEC, which prevents the direct recombination of ion pairs, is maintained
by charging the capacitor.
In principle, the sign of the accumulated charge may be either positive or negative, but generating a current

of negative ions is preferred because the latter achieve higher velocities in an electric field.
To produce a UAEC in the above method, the air ionizers are preferably located in the vicinity of or,
preferably, on the surface of the charged capacitor or charged electrode. The air ionization zone is the zone
within the alpha particle range from the air ionizer. The term vicinity means the distance from the capacitor
so the electric field generated by the capacitor in the air ionization zone is sufficiently strong to dissociate the
opposite sign ions.
Compared to the short range of alpha particles, ranges of generally less energetic beta and gamma
emissions are much longer, which makes it technically difficult to achieve the separation of the bipolar
ionization produced by beta and gamma emissions with a static electric field. Furthermore, producing
intensive long-range beta and gamma radiations is not desirable as it may require radiation safety
procedures at distances over the alpha particle range. Therefore, radioactive materials providing the highest
alpha and lowest beta and gamma radiation outputs are preferable.
To determine the strength of electric field sufficient to dissociate the bipolar ionization, the atmospheric
electric current may be measured at different values of electric field strength. For example, a plot for the
atmospheric current produced by a 0.9 Ci

Am source from a typical smoke alarm in the applied electric

field produced between the plates of a capacitor is given in FIG. 4. The distance d between the plates is 3
cm (the maximum ionization distance is within the produced electric field) and the measurements are taken
at different values of the voltage on the capacitor. The complete dissociation of bipolar ionization
corresponds to the saturation of atmospheric current which occurs, as shown on the plot, at capacitor
voltage U=300 V. The corresponding electric field strength is E=U/d=300/0.03=10 kV/m. This is the minimum
value for the required strength of the electric field to be achieved for this particular source. In general,
sources with a higher radiation output require a stronger electric field.
FIG. 2 illustrates an embodiment of the instant apparatus for weather modification 20, suitable for practicing
the invention. In this embodiment, the electric field generator comprises a Van der Graaf generator (VDGG)
21 having a preferably spherical capacitor 22 and a charging engine 23 placed on a base 26. The capacitor
22 is elevated above the surface of the Earth by a non-conductive support structure 24. The charging engine
23 is coupled to the capacitor 22 with an electrical conductor 25. The base 26 of the charging engine 24 is
grounded.
One or more air ionizers with sources of alpha ionization 27, preferably in the form of flat sheets of
radioactive substance, may be disposed on or near the surface of the bottom hemisphere of a capacitor 22.
The capacitor 22 is preferably made from a corrosion resistant metal. It is preferable that air ionizers are
made from an alloyed metal comprising the same metal that the capacitor is made from and an alpha
radioactive element. In this configuration, negative ions will flow away from the capacitor tending aside of it
and towards the surface of the Earth which acts as a collector electrode for these ions, if the capacitor is
negatively charged.
Since the energy loss of the alpha particle per ion pair formed is nearly constant, the specific ionization, i.e.
number of ion pairs produced per unit length of the particle path, is proportional to the rate of the loss of
alpha particle energy E with the distance of penetration x, dE/dx, and so a plot for ionization as a function of
the distance of penetration is of the Bragg curve shape as shown in FIG. 3.

As shown in FIG. 3, most bipolar ionization is produced at some distance from an ionization source, referred
to hereinafter as the maximum ionization distance. Referring to FIG. 3, the maximum ionization distance
extends from point 30 up to the source-specific alpha particle range, indicated as 31.
Depending on the capacitor's size and charging engine design, a voltage up to several megavolts can be
achieved on a VDGG capacitor. The strength of electric field is sufficient to dissociate the opposite sign ions.
The voltage U on spherical capacitor of radius R is related to the accumulated charge q as U=q/4R, where
=8.8510

F/m is the dielectric permittivity of the air. At the same time, the electric field strength E at the

distance r>R from the capacitor's center is related to q as E=q/4r , therefore E=UR/r . For example, if the
capacitor with a radius of 0.8 m is operating at a voltage of 2 MV, the electric field strength at a distance of 3
cm from its surface (about maximum ionization distance) is 2.32 MV/m. The electric field of this strength is
sufficient to dissociate bipolar ionization from radioactive sources with an output much higher that of the
source discussed previously as an example.
As mentioned above, the most intensive ion generation by a radioactive source attached to the capacitor
occurs in a zone at the maximum ionization distance from the source surface referred to hereinafter as the
maximum ionization zone. As a result, two UAECs of opposite polarity ions and associated air flows originate
from the maximum ionization zone due to ion dissociation in the electric field. For a negatively charged
capacitor, negative ions flow away from the capacitor and positive ions flow toward the capacitor, leading to
the formation of a low air pressure layer at distances from the source of about the maximum ionization
distance. Bursts of fresh air parcels into the low pressure layer may occur, in particular, between streams
flowing out from the alpha ionization sources, which are responsible for the SMT, causing a partial mixing of
the moistened and fresh air parcels.
To minimize the latter effect, the following optional modifications to the design may be utilized. Referring
back to FIG. 2, conduits 28 to facilitate the fresh air supply from inside the capacitor made of a nonconductive material may be provided near one or more air ionizers 21. Each conduit 28 has an outlet 29,
which is preferably positioned in the lower pressure zone (i.e., maximum ionization zone), more preferably
between the middle and the outer limit of this zone. The capacitor 22 may also be provided with a ventilation
hole 30 on its top. For example, conduits may have a threaded base which is screwed into threaded holes in
the capacitor. The rim of the ventilation hole is preferably smooth and preferably shielded with an insulating
material to avoid unfavorable corona discharge. By way of a non-limiting example, a rubber or flexible plastic
ring with a notch for the rim of the ventilation hole can be used.
A recommended option to mount alpha radiation sources and conduits is presented in FIG. 5. The shape of
the air ionizers 51 corresponds to a section of the top part of the sphere with a radius r<<R, where R is the
radius of the spherical capacitor 52. Air conduit 53 made of a non-conductive material is screwed into a
threaded hole in the capacitor, passing through a hole in the center of the air ionizer. To avoid corona
discharge on the edges of the air ionizer, all edges of the air ionizer are made smooth and covered by nonconductive material. The edge of the air ionizer's hole is covered by the conduit's flanges 54 a and 54 b and
the side edge of the air ionizer is also covered by covers 55 a and 55 b in a similar way to the edge of the
capacitor's ventilation hole. Avoiding or minimizing corona discharge is desirable because the production of
hazardous gases such as ozone and nitrogen oxides and high corrosive stress are likely to occur on sharp
points, especially in a highly ionized environment.

Such configuration may also generate a higher electric field, compared to that of the capacitor, achievable in
the ionization zone as the conductive surfaces of the apparatus are equipotential and r<<R. In this case
where the ionization source acts as a charged electrode electrically coupled to the capacitor, free electrons
produced by ionization and accelerated in the electric field may achieve a velocity sufficient to ionize air
molecules in their path, the ionization energy of which is about 35 eV. This secondary ionization, also known
as amplification, can additionally produce many free electrons and further negative ions for each primary
electron that was formed by radiation.
FIG. 6 illustrates another optional modification to the apparatus aimed at the further reduction of the mixing
of the ascending moistened and the incoming fresh air flows. In this configuration, one or more conduits 61
are connected to the ventilation hole 62 of the capacitor 63 with air ionizers 64 and air conduits 65 as
described above. The conduits 61 extend beyond the zone of the ascending moistened air represented by
arrows 66 a and 66 b.
The height of the capacitor, referred to hereinafter as the elevation distance, is preferably as high as possible
to treat a large volume of air and, for increased safety, to minimize beta and gamma ray intensities on the
ground. At the same time, the elevation distance preferably does not exceed the distance that small air ions
propagate in the applied electric field during their lifetime, i.e. most of them should terminate on the surface
of the Earth (the collector).
The ion propagation distance is determined mostly by the attachment of ions to atmospheric aerosol
particles, also known as large or heavy ions, which are not moved by the electric field and do not contribute
to the SMT. If the elevation is too high, too many immobile large ions may accumulate above the surface as
a layer of space charge, which reduces the intensity of the electric field along ion trajectories. The ion
propagation distance can be evaluated by measuring the vertical profile of the electric field for a particular
system and numerically integrating the ion motion equation over time up to the ion lifetime which can be
determined experimentally using well-known methods. Elevating the ion source to a distance between one
half and two thirds of the ion propagation distance determined in the abovementioned way is a guide. In
some embodiments, depending on the system design and the concentration of pollutants in the air, the
elevation distance may vary between several and 10-15 meters, which is also acceptable in terms of
radiation safety for a number of typical alpha sources including

The operation of a typical VDGG is sensitive to leakage currents. Any liquid moisture on the operating
equipment can negatively affect the system's performance. As a VDGG produces a nearly constant electric
current at a variable voltage on the emitter electrode, leakage currents may cause the voltage to drop below
a threshold for effective ion separation. As a result of SMT, drizzle may be produced around the operating
apparatus even under clear sky conditions. Condensational moisturizing may also occur on the equipment.
To prevent the accumulation of continuous water film on moisture-sensitive parts of the system, including the
charging engine of the VDGG and the support for the capacitor and ventilation hole conduits such as rigid
structures or a tethering rope which anchors a supporting lighter-than-air craft to the surface of the Earth,
these parts may be coated with a water repulsive wax-like substance. Also, techniques to prevent
condensational moisturizing, such as, for example, sufficient heating of moisture-sensitive parts is also
recommended. Preferably, the charging engine of the VDGG is hermetically sealed.
A source of renewable energy for the generator of atmospheric electric current, such as rechargeable

batteries powered by solar panels and/or windmills, is recommended, especially in the absence of a power
supply infrastructure.
In another aspect, a method of weather modification is provided, which is based on the modification of
vertical humidity profile by increasing the relative humidity at higher altitudes at the expense of drying the air
near the surface of the Earth. This method may work even in a stable atmosphere when the convective
updrafts normally responsible for the vertical transport of humid air do not form. The method comprises
deploying and operating the apparatuses described above. Operating the instant apparatuses augments or
creates a moisture updraft, which may lead to the formation of new clouds and/or an increase in
supersaturation in existing clouds, thus enhancing the development of precipitation. Operating the apparatus
is most efficient in areas of high humidity when the atmosphere is stable and convective updrafts of moist air
are weak or absent. Creating strong updrafts of moist air near a shoreline, preferably in the presence of lowlevel winds from the ocean, would facilitate the inflow of the evaporated moisture from a water reservoir into
inland, benefiting the terrestrial hydrologic cycle. For example, such conditions can be found in many
locations along the shorelines of Middle Eastern countries.
Although the invention herein has been described with reference to particular embodiments, it is to be
understood that these embodiments are merely illustrative of the principles and applications of the present
invention. It is therefore to be understood that numerous modifications may be made to the illustrative
embodiments and that other arrangements may be devised without departing from the spirit and scope of the
present invention which is defined by the following claims.

quattro sequenze mostrano delle riprese effettuate alle ore 08,00 alle 09,00 ed alle 09,15 alle 09,30
Il cielo da coperto si apre nel giro di un ora ed un quarto, leffetto sembra essere provocato dal
dispositivo. Questo sito ed il suo blogmaster da anni sono impegnati nella divulgazione delle teorie
di pier Luigi Ighina da Imola, con grande soddisfazione.

Meteotron: crea le nuvole e guida i fulmini

Fisici di ventidue Paesi hanno assistito agli straordinari esperimenti eseguiti in Francia con il
meteotron del professor Dessens.
Dai cento bruciatori del meteotron, piantati come pali sul circuito di un esagono regolare,
cento fiamme scaturiscono contemporaneamente, al segnale del professor Dessens. Sono
bastati trenta secondi perch allinterno di questo esagono, 3200 metri quadrati di lato si
trasformassero
in
un
braciere.
Il fuoco crepita furiosamente nei turbini di fumo nero. Poi, rapidissime, le fiamme alte quattro
metri decrescono e ricadono rasente i cespugli rosseggianti. E la fine dellincendio, e, per gli
specialisti francesi e stranieri che assistono alla dimostrazione (sono circa sessanta fisici
provenienti da dodici Paesi), il momento della verit: l in alto, al di sopra delle fumate che
chiudono ancora lorizzonte dei Pirenei, nel cielo fino a quel momento perfettamente limpido, si
sta formando una nuvola, un cumulo. Il tutto in meno di cinque minuti.
Io non fabbrico pioggia. Il professor Dessens non vuole che lo si confonda con quegli
specialisti
di
pioggia
provocata
che
sono
cos
numerosi
negli
Stati
Uniti.
Egli
infatti
non
si
contenta
di
seminare
le
nubi;
le
crea.
A prima vista, niente dovrebbe essere pi facile che sciogliere una nuvola. In effetti, un
cumulo-nembo di uragano pu racchiudere sino a 200.000 tonnellate di acqua! Ma queste
enormi masse liquide sono depositate sotto forma di piccole gocce che hanno un diametro di
30 micron; e per formare una sola goccia di pioggia se ne devono saldare insieme 300.000.

Come
provocare
artificialmente
tali
agglomerati?
Questo era il problema per i fabbricanti di pioggia. La soluzione venuta da un fisico
norvegese, Tor Bergeron, che ha dimostrato come se la cava, in questo caso, la natura stessa.
Teoricamente, spiega lo scienziato norvegese, le goccioline sospese nelle nuvole non
dovrebbero mai incontrarsi: la legge fondamentale dellelettrostatica glielo vieta, dato che esse
sono cariche di una elettricit dello stesso segno. E tuttavia la pioggia esiste. Che cosa accade
dunque? Semplicemente, che talune di queste goccioline sono a sopraffusione (a 5, per
esempio, esse restano liquide) ed altre si trasformano in minuscoli cristalli di ghiaccio. Ora,
lesperienza cinsegna che un pezzo si ghiaccio messo in presenza di unacqua sopraffusa non
tarda ad assorbirla. E cos che si formano i fiocchi di neve. Allorigine, infatti, ogni pioggia
neve
la
quale
poi
si
scioglie
per
effetto
del
riscaldamento
nellatmosfera.
Da questo momento, la via dei fabbricanti di pioggia era tracciata: per provocare la caduta di
pioggia bastava loro favorire la formazione di cristalli di ghiaccio nelle nuvole introducendovi
degli appositi germi. Un metodo vecchio di quindici anni e che ha dato prova di s. Tuttavia

Ma c unobiezione pi grave. I fabbricanti di pioggia non incontrerebbero certamente alcuna
difficolt a seminare il cielo italiano o quello francese. Ma come seminare, ad esempio, il
cielo del Sahara, dove manca la materia prima e cio la nuvola? Bisognava dunque studiare il
problema pi a fondo, come ha fatto il professor Dessens, non al livello della formazione delle
piogge,
ma
a
quello
della
formazione
delle
nuvole.
Tutto cominciato nel 1955. In quellanno, il professor Dessens, invitato dai piantatori di cacao
di Lukolela, compiva un viaggio di studio in Congo. Quivi egli osserv per la prima volta una
pratica corrente, a quanto strana, in Africa, quella cio di accendere dei fuochi di boscaglia per
far piovere. Il professore sapeva che non si trattava di un semplice rito di magia. Egli
stesso, qualche anno prima, aveva proposto alle autorit belghe di utilizzare razionalmente i
fuochi
di
boscaglia
per
modificare
la
piovosit
del
Congo.
Ma come si creano le false nuvole, vuoi con il fuoco di boscaglia, vuoi con il meteotron?
Bisogna prima di tutto capire come si formano le nuvole vere. Tutti sanno che levaporazione
dei mari, dei laghi e dei fiumi, carica laria nelle vicinanze del suolo, di immense quantit di
vapore acqueo. Ma perch si formi la nuvola occorre anche che il vapore si condensi in
goccioline. Ora, questa condensazione possibile solo se laria si raffredda. E per raffreddarsi
ecco il primo paradosso necessario che essa prima si riscaldi. Sotto lazione del Sole, in
effetti, la sua pressione aumenta: la condizione necessaria perch laria si innalzi in corrente
ascendente trascinando i vapore acqueo verso regioni sempre pi fredde. La quantit massima
di vapore acqueo che un litro daria pu racchiudere varia rapidamente in funzione della
temperatura: di 20g a 25, appena di 11g a 10. Viene dunque un momento in cui lacqua
contenuta nellaria non pu pi restare allo stato di vapore e deve condensarsi.
Ed ecco un secondo paradosso: alcuni fisici hanno dimostrato che le molecole di vapore
acqueo, aprendosi un passaggio attraverso le molecole di ossigeno e di azoto, che si urtano a
vicenda senza mai unirsi, dovrebbero, in linea di principio, comportarsi alla stessa maniera:
non condensarsi mai. Se di fatto esse si condensano, malgrado questa teorica impossibilit,
perch incontrano costantemente sui loro percorsi delle trappole a molecole dacqua: grani
di polvere, elementi impalpabili di fumo e, soprattutto, minuscoli cristalli di sale marino
strappati
alle
onde.
Due sono dunque le condizioni perch si possa formare una nuvola: una corrente ascendente
daria clada che trascini il vapore acqueo verso le altezze in cui esse si condensano in
goccioline; unatmosfera carica di trappole a molecole, vale a dire, in termini scientifici, di
germi di condensazione. Di queste due condizioni, la prima la pi importante. Ma bisogna
precisare bene: una corrente daria calda. Il calore in se stesso non conta, altrimenti il Sahara
sarebbe coperto di nuvole! Ci che importa il riscaldamento differenziale, detto anche
riscaldamento di una zona limitata al di sopra della quale si produce un vero e proprio
tiraggio
come
in
un
camino.
I cento bruciatori del meteotron che sviluppano una potenza termica di 700.000 kilowatts,
non hanno difficolt a creare un camino stabile per trasportare le correnti ascendenti. Senza
contare che le faville e le polveri sprigionate dal fumo costituiscono delle eccellenti trappole a
molecole.
Dal punto di vista del diritto internazionale, il meteotron appartiene al Presidente della

Repubblica del Congo, Kasavubu che, in base agli accordi intervenuti con la passata
amministrazione belga, potrebbe reclamarlo in qualsiasi momento. Il meteotron era stato in
effetti concepito per il Congo. Nel 1960, un voluminoso materiale motori diesel, pompe,
bruciatori - stava per essere imbarcato, quando fu proclamata lindipendenza del Congo.
Durante diversi mesi, lapparecchio rest bloccato sui moli di Marsiglia, poi, essendo chiaro che
i congolesi vi avevano rinunciato, il ministero dellEducazione nazionale francese ne decise
linstallazione
a
Lannemezan.
Da allora sono passati tre anni, tre anni di esperimenti durante i quali il meteotron ha
rivelato sempre nuove possibilit. In un minuto, il meteotron pu aspirare ricadute nucleari
diffuse nellaria e disperderle nellatmosfera a pi di mille metri di altezza. Molti specialisti,
senza disconoscere i rischi della ricaduta, ritengono che il meteotron potrebbe essere un
mezzo, in caso di accidente grave, per scongiurare i pericoli pi immediati di un inquinamento
atomico
dellatmosfera
e
ridurne
gli
effetti
catastrofici.
Altra utilizzazione inaspettata del meteotron quella di guida-fulmini. Operando con
tempo sereno, il professor Dessens e i suoi collaboratori hanno osservato pi di una volta che
ottenevano non soltanto dei cumuli piovosi ma anche delle vere e proprie trombe di grandine,
dal diametro di una dozzina di metri, che univano la nuvola al suolo come un immenso pilastro
attorcigliato. In tempo di uragano, nellasse fortemente ionizzato della tromba si producono
violente scariche di elettricit. Forse un giorno sar possibile osservarvi quella variet di
fulmine chiamato globulare, un litro del quale, secondo calcoli del fisico sovietico Kapitza,
contiene
pi
energia
nucleare
che
una
esplosione
atomica.
Il Pentagono mostra perci molto interesse per il meteotron. Ma per il momento, e per altri
lunghi anni ancora, senza dubbio, il professor Dessens dar la precedenza alle utilizzazioni
pacifiche del suo strumento, concepito per realizzare un vecchio sogno delluomo: modificare e
correggere il clima.

difficile stabilire perch si scrive un libro, soprattutto su un argomento cos difficile e complesso
come la modificazione e la regolazione del clima atmosferico. Non credo che alla base ci siano
motivazioni professionali, visto che molto spesso si scrive nei ritagli di tempo e di riposo da un altro
lavoro, oppure giustificazioni di tipo economico. Molto pi semplicemente l'autore potrebbe avere un
messaggio, conscio od inconscio che sia, da trasmettere e lo fa nella maniera a lui pi congeniale.
Quest'ultima potrebbe essere la ragione per cui ho pubblicato il presente libro che ho incominciato a
scrivere oltre 5 anni fa. Divulgare cio alcune delle scoperte dell'ultimo Wilhelm Reich meno
conosciute e forse, anche fra le meno comprese e pi controverse: il cloudbusting o la regolazione
del clima atmosferico. Non stato facile portare a termine questo lavoro sia per la complessit
dell'argomento che per la difficolt di reperire il materiale adatto. Devo ringraziare molte persone

Quando Roberto Maglione, mi chiese di scrivere un'introduzione al suo libro sulle scoperte di Wilhelm Reich in
ambito atmosferico, provai sensazioni contrastanti e mi posi molti interrogativi. La Cosmic Orgone Engineering
o cloudbusting, come pi nota nel linguaggio comune, fra le pi imponenti e potenzialmente benefiche
scoperte di Reich, ma anche la pi controversa e, purtroppo, quella potenzialmente pi pericolosa, se non
utilizzata con considerevole attenzione e cautela.
Molti, compreso me, avevamo tenuto per anni private tutte le informazioni su questo argomento,
considerandolo una materia di discussione all'interno di gruppi di persone altamente fidate, pur rimanendo
abbastanza disponibili a discutere apertamente le altre controverse scoperte di Reich, come l'accumulatore di
energia orgonica e la sessuo-economia. Mi chiesi se il libro avesse trattato Reich e il difficile argomento in
modo adeguato o se lo avesse presentato in modo eccessivamente meccanicistico o perfino mistico, il che,
per esempio, tipico di ci che si pu trovare sulla rete globale di Internet. Sono contento nel dire che questo
nuovo libro ha concretizzato le mie speranze e non le mie paure. Senza voler banalizzare n esagerare le
cose, in quasi 30 anni di esperimenti in campo con il cloudbuster ho apprezzato sempre pi l'enorme potenza
e le capacit del continuum di energia orgonica che esso utilizza. questo continuum di energia, un tempo
conosciuto come un etere dinamico nello spazio, la cui presenza stata investigata e dimostrata negli anni '20
dal fisico Dayton Miller, a regolare il nostro clima alle sue fondamenta. Dal punto di vista tecnico, abbiamo
dimostrato gi da molti anni, con sistematici studi di campo ed utilizzando dati ufficiali e metodi classici di
analisi scientifica, la validit delle originali asserzioni di Reich risalenti agli anni '50. Posso affermare che
siamo ora in possesso di mezzi tecnici atti a porre fine alla siccit e rinverdire i pi aridi deserti del mondo,
sempre che lo si voglia. Tecnicamente, posso dirlo con sicurezza, questo ora possibile. Comunque, dal
punto di vista dell'ordinamento sociale, stiamo ancora affrontando grossi e spesso insormontabili ostacoli.
Dopo decenni di indagini cliniche e ricerche di laboratorio, che lo portarono alla scoperta del cloudbuster, per
un anno Reich effettu operazioni di cloudbusting, scrupolosamente mirate, rinverdendo i deserti vicino a
Tucson, in Arizona. Poco tempo dopo, la peste emozionale, attiva nel giornalismo e nell'ordinamento giuridico
americano ed in collaborazione con il Governo statunitense, riusc a spegnere la brillante luce emanante dalla
sua scoperta. II cloudbuster fu quasi completamente dimenticato. Tuttavia, i suoi pi stretti collaboratori
riuscirono a tenere accesa la torcia di tale conoscenza, e continuarono le ricerche sull'energia vitale, inclusa
quella relativa al cloudbuster. In quel periodo ero un bambino e le prime letture di Reich, che feci durante la
mia adolescenza, mi colpirono per la chiarezza delle sue idee, i suoi potenziali rivoluzionari, e per la sfida che
lanciava all'ansimante scienza ortodossa. Le sue argomentazioni sui processi viventi in natura confermarono
molte delle sensazioni che andavo sviluppando osservando attentamente la natura in quello che era un tempo
il paradiso tropicale del sud della Florida, che pi tardi fu avvelenato, spianato e distrutto per diventare la
giungla di cemento chiamata Miami. Da bambino, vedevo e sentivo il processo del vivente in natura, ma non
avevo parole per esprimerlo e nessuna spiegazione mi veniva data dai miei insegnanti. Sono stato educato in
scuole che insegnavano le cose e la scienza dal punto di vista inanimato, mentre l'universo del vivente, la
natura pulsante, che si trovava sia dentro che al di fuori di me, non veniva mai discussa n tanto meno presa
in considerazione. Reich, invece, si tuffava dritto all'interno di questo oceano di energia plasmatica vivente, e
ne descrisse le propriet, le funzioni e la struttura. Nuotava liberamente, immergendosi nelle profondit,
mentre gli altri stavano semplicemente sulla superficie. Leggere Reich cambi completamente la mia vita, e mi
indusse a voler conoscere con certezza se le sue affermazioni erano vere od erano pure illusioni e fantasie,
come gli scettici affermavano.
E cos studiai e collaborai con quegli scienziati che gi seguivano gli insegnamenti di Reich, imparando molto
da loro. Costruii e testai l'accumulatore di energia orgonica, confermando i suoi potenti effetti. In seguito
effettuai, presso il Dipartimento di Meteorologia dell'Universit del Kansas, i primi studi accademici sul
cloudbuster di Reich, che confermarono il funzionamento dello strumento e la validit del metodo, proprio
come Reich asseriva. Questa ricerca costitu sia un passo avanti nell'ordinamento sociale di quel periodo che
una validazione scientifica del lavoro di Reich, ma cre anche nuovi ed improvvisi attacchi ed ostacoli alle
ricerche che stavo portando avanti. Tuttavia, in seguito, furono eseguite, da una mezza dozzina di ricercatori,
ulteriori sperimentazioni con il cloudbuster mirate a ridurre la siccit negli Usa. Queste aggiunsero ulteriori
conferme dell'efficacia della tecnologia. I risultati di queste esperienze furono tutti pubblicati su riviste
specializzate. Qualche anno dopo, con l'aiuto di alcuni collaboratori, organizzai e diressi le prime prove

sistematiche sul campo con il cloudbuster, negli aridi deserti dell'Arizona, Israele, Namibia ed Eritrea, in Africa.
Tutti questi studi sono riassunti nel presente libro. In tutti i casi, perfino ai margini del gigantesco deserto del
Sahara, il cloudbuster ha dimostrato la sua efficacia. Un'atmosfera surriscaldata, fosca e stagnante veniva,
solitamente nel giro di qualche giorno di duro lavoro, prontamente sostituita da magnifiche e possenti nubi
foriere di pioggia, che riversavano umidit vitale in territori secchi e polverosi. Testimoniammo lo sbocciare di
fiori e la formazione di nuovi laghi in quelle aride distese di terra, che in precedenza erano polverose e
secche, e dove solo qualche misera goccia di pioggia era caduta in precedenza. Fatti che nessuno poteva
pensare fosse possibile si realizzassero. Nella arida e secca Terra Santa, sofferente sotto i colpi della doppia
piaga del disastro ambientale e sociale, io ed i miei collaboratori testimoniammo spettacolari cambiamenti
dell'atmosfera, con repentini mutamenti del clima da secco ad umido, da caldo a freddo. con colline rinverdite,
riempimento di laghi e cime di montagne coperte di neve. Dovevamo darci dei pizzicotti per essere sicuri che
non stavamo sognando, o che non eravamo stati magicamente trasportati in Svizzera, invece di trovarci ai
margini del Sahara. Durante la nostra pi ambiziosa impresa, il quinquennale progetto in Eritrea, Africa, ampie
regioni del Sahel furono rinverdite e rese erbose, riducendo l'importazione annuale di cibo di quella piccola
nazione di decine di milioni di dollari. Nuovi e giganteschi laghi, troppo grandi per poter vedere le opposte rive,
apparvero come per miracolo nelle aree a valle del Nilo, all'interno del cuore del Sahara, dopo solo qualche
anno di cloudbusting applicato in modo razionale. Tuttavia, mentre la gente comune celebrava i risultati del
nostro lavoro, solo in rare occasioni abbiamo trovato supporto a livello ufficiale. Perfino di fronte ai pi evidenti
e positivi risultati, ottenuti con una pioggia eccezionale che aveva posto fine ad una forte siccit, eravamo
frequentemente soggetti ad attacchi da parte dei meteorologi e dei funzionari ortodossi, quasi fossimo dei
praticanti di qualche tipo di magia nera che essi non potevano capire e con cui non volevano avere niente a
che fare. Ma il cloudbusting non magia, esso una combinazione di scienza naturale ed arte, che richiede
certamente la conoscenza della scienza attuale, della meteorologia e delle materie tecniche, ma anche di
sentire e vedere il linguaggio espressivo del vivente che appare in Natura. Questo ci aiuta a capire cose
altrimenti inspiegabili come la siccit, al suo livello pi profondo, fornendoci anche nuovi approcci per agire in
modo costruttivo e positivo su di essa.
I cambiamenti ambientali che ho descritto furono dettagliatamente documentati per i posteri, bench non ho il
minimo dubbio che il lettore che ha scarsa familiarit con questo argomento difficilmente creder a ci che sto
scrivendo. Se non fossi stato testimone di questi eventi, probabilmente anch'io sarei uno scettico. Ci si pu
razionalmente chiedere: perch non si mai saputo nulla di questi esperimenti dai giornali o dalla televisione?
Perch questa grossa scoperta non stata applicata pi frequentemente in aree soggette a forte siccit e
desertificazione? Non si pu dire che i vari ricercatori e scienziati, come me, non abbiamo tentato di diffondere
e far conoscere quest'argomento. Posso dire che possiedo un grosso archivio di lettere e proposte che ho
spedito nei periodi di forte siccit e crisi ambientali a numerosi funzionari governativi, sia in Usa che all'estero,
ed a vari scienziati e societ scientifiche. La gran parte di questi non si neanche degnata di darmi una
semplice risposta. L'esempio pi recente stato quello capitatomi durante la forte siccit che ha colpito il
Rajasthan, India. I meteorologi ed i funzionari ci rifiutarono il permesso di entrare nel paese anche solo per
sperimentare i nostri metodi, senza alcuna spesa a loro carico. proprio nei momenti in cui l'intera regione
stava soccombendo per anni di siccit, con migliaia di villaggi abbandonati per mancanza d'acqua potabile e
milioni di vite a rischio. Una simile esperienza mi capitata anche durante la siccit Australiana, poi quando
l'Indonesia stava letteralmente bruciando, ed ancora quando la siccit in Kenia aveva ridotto allo stremo
migliaia di vite ed ucciso centinaia di migliaia di capi di bestiame, e cos via di questo passo. Sembra quasi
che la visione del mondo e le teorie scientifiche dei funzionari e degli scienziati che si occupano di queste
cose pi importante della vita o della morte di milioni di esseri viventi. Ho anche scritto e pubblicato molti
articoli su questo argomento, ma solo raramente la gente ha letto gli articoli e mi ha contattato per verificare
ci che si poteva fare durante un periodo di siccit nelle proprie regioni. Solitamente si tratta di gente comune,
ed in qualche caso fortunato, assieme ai giusti contatti per poter pianificare un'intervento, si riusciti ad
ottenere le sovvenzioni, ed in qualche raro caso, l'approvazione ed il supporto governativo. Ma questi sono
casi rari. Ho anche un secondo grosso archivio, che documenta i vari attacchi ed i maliziosi articoli scritti, con
il preciso scopo di denigrare questo lavoro, da persone motivate da interessi personali per i quali, come ho gi
detto prima, la scoperta dell'energia vitale e del cloudbusting provoca solo tanto odio e paura. E cos, dalla
morte di Reich in poi, questo lavoro stato portato avanti cautamente e privatamente, all'ombra e fra gli stretti
corridoi della Torre della Grande Scienza e delle Istituzioni Governative entro cui solo raramente siamo stati
invitati. Siamo stati costretti a lavorare come dei piccoli mammiferi che cercano di sgattaiolare al di sotto dei
grossi piedi e le ampie e goffe ombre dei dinosauri, pieni di speranza in un futuro che solo pochi possono
immaginare, un futuro, comunque, senza dinosauri! Abbiamo imparato, con l'esperienza, che molto pi facile
dissolvere l'eccezionale stagnazione presente nell'atmosfera e stimolare un temporale nel bel mezzo di un
deserto che creare un cambiamento nell'ordinamento sociale all'interno delle istituzioni di un'umanit
corazzata. In questo lavoro, Roberto Maglione ha intrapreso il difficile compito di scrivere una overview
scientifica dell'argomento, partendo dai primi lavori di Reich, che risalgono agli anni '50, fino a quelli pi

recenti, attraverso i successivi 50 anni, di ricercatori e scienziati che hanno seguito il lavoro di Reich. Ha
trattato l'argomento con attenzione, evitando le trappole dell'entusiasmo esagerato o dello scetticismo,
attenendosi ai fatti ed a ci che stato dimostrato scientificamente. un lavoro che dovrebbe, in un mondo
razionale, attirare l'attenzione di scienziati responsabili e competenti, di privati cittadini e di funzionari
governativi che si preoccupano del benessere dell'umanit e dei grossi disastri che ripetutamente si abbattono
sul territorio a causa della siccit e dell'avanzare della desertificazione.
un mio sincero desiderio che questo nuovo libro di Roberto Maglione possa aiutare a dissipare la nebbia e a
dissolvere le nubi all'interno dell'ordinamento sociale, cercando di diffondere questa nuova conoscenza in
modo razionale, benefico e positivo per la vita.

In 1994 David Wells saw a presentation by Joseph Newman demonstrating a

motor that allegedly put out more power than it consumed. Wells went home and
built a machine, noting that it nearly ran without any energy input, taking 90 days
to run the batteries down.
His shop was twelve miles from his home, and as he drove back and forth, he
began to notice that when the sky was clouded over there was a curious hole in
the cloud cover over the vicinity of the machine. He then noted that the effect
would reverse if he changed the position of the machine -- it would draw clouds in
and even rain.
He began tinkering with the machine, modifying it and its position, and observing
effects on the weather. He also build a dozen or so other machines which various
people have been operating in sundry places around the U.S. The effect can be
very long-range.
In the ensuing years, Wells says that "thousands" of weather modifications have
been made by the various machines. He says the cause-effect relationships has
become fairly well established.
Wells does not give out the plans publicly for how to build these devices, but to
give you an idea of their simplicity, the parts for the machines cost less than $200,
and can be built and assembled in an afternoon. The machine operates on a 12volt battery, drawing just a few mili-amps.
Verification

In addition to the several people who operate these machines, New Energy
Congress member, Robert Nelson of http://RexResearch.com of
RexResearch.com observed one such machine in operation and attests to the
reproducible cause-effect relationship between the machine operation and the
weather. "I can personally attest to its power over weather since I had the
opportunity to test one of Wells machines for a few months in 1998." [1]
Objective
Mr. Wells is hoping to establish a national network of largely automated
machines with a control central where severe weather could be abated, and
some weather engineering could be organized.
Ramifications
Some of these new technologies may end up having unexpected secondary
effects that go unobserved by the experimenter, but which impact life around
them.

Wells and Alberto Feliciano as part of the Free Energy Now
radio show. A discussion on how David Wells' weather
modification researchers have been fine tuning their skills.

How it Works
The device appears to work similar to the cloudbuster
technology. It appears to involve a 20-mile wavelength. The
wavelengths set up interference patterns with the earth's natural

wavelengths. The peaks and valleys of those interference

patterns determine what kind of weather appears.

sensation can be felt between the machine and Sedona.
One time, during peak tornado season, Wells was able to

Technology created 50 rainstorms in Abu Dhabi's Al Ain region last year

For centuries people living in the Middle East have dreamed of turning the sandy desert into land fit for growing crops
with fresh water on tap.
Now that holy grail is a step closer after scientists employed by the ruler of Abu Dhabi claim to have generated a series
of downpours.
Fifty rainstorms were created last year in the state's eastern Al Ain region using technology designed to control the
weather.

Dhabi

Most of the storms were at the height of the summer in July and August when there is no rain at all.
People living in Abu Dhabi were baffled by the rainfall which sometimes turned into hail and included gales and
lightening.

HOW TECHNOLOGY IS KICKING UP A STORM

The Metro System scientists used ionisers to produce negatively charged particles called electrons.
They have a natural tendency to attach to tiny specks of dust which are ever-present in the atmosphere in the desertregions.
These are then carried up from the emitters by convection - upward currents of air generated by the heat release from
sunlight as it hits the ground.
Once the dust particles reach the right height for cloud formation, the charges will attract water molecules floating in the
air which then start to condense around them.
If there is sufficient moisture in the air, it induces billions of droplets to form which finally means cloud and rain.
The scientists have been working secretly for United Arab Emirates president Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
They have been using giant ionisers, shaped like stripped down lampshades on steel poles, to generate fields of
negatively charged particles.
These promote cloud formation and researchers hoped they could then produce rain.
In a confidential company video, the founder of the Swiss company in charge of the project, Metro Systems International,
boasted of success.
Helmut Fluhrer said: 'We have achieved a number of rainfalls.'
It is believed to be the first time the system has produced rain from clear skies, according to the Sunday Times.
In the past, China and other countries have used chemicals for cloud-seeding to both induce and prevent rain falling.
Last June Metro Systems built five ionising sites each with 20 emitters which can send trillions of cloud-forming ions into
the atmosphere.
Over four summer months the emitters were switched on when the required atmospheric level of humidity reached 30
per cent or more.
While the country's weather experts predicted no clouds or rain in the Al Ain region, rain fell on FIFTY-TWO occasions.
The project was monitored by the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, one of the world's major centres for atmospheric
physics.
Professor Hartmut Grassl, a former institute director, said: There are many applications. One is getting water into a dry
area.
'Maybe this is a most important point for mankind.'

Desert: Scientists created 50 rainstorms in Abu Dhabi's Al Ain region last year

The savings using the Weathertec technology are huge with the system costing 6 million a year while desalination is
45 million.

Building an ionising system is about 7 million while a desalination plant would be 850 million and costs a lot more to
run.
Some scientists are treating the results in Al Ain with caution because Abu Dhabi is a coastal state and can experience
natural summer rainfall triggered by air picking up moisture from the warm ocean before dropping it on land.
But the number of times it rained in the region so soon after the ionisers were switched on has encouraged researchers.
Professor Peter Wilderer witnessed the experiments first hand and is backing the breakthrough.
The director of advanced studies on sustainability at the Technical University of Munich, said: 'We came a big step closer
to the point where we can increase the availability of fresh water to all in times of dramatic global changes.'

Wilhelm Reich (1897 - 1957) discovered a form of energy that he called Orgone"
and demonstrated that this energy could be found within all living things and
throughout the cosmos. The Galactic Orgonomy Exchange lists Orgone as:"ORGONE
ENERGY. Is a Primordial Cosmic Energy; universally present and demonstrable
visually, thermically, electroscopically and by means of Geiger-Mueller counters. In
the living organism: Bio-energy, Life Energy -Discovered by Wilhelm Reich between
1936 and 1940."

Wilhelm Reich and the Orgone Energy: A Brief Introduction
The term Orgone was coined by Wilhelm Reich in the early 1940s to describe a
form of universal background radiation or energy that he had discovered. Over
the next 14 years he made many significant discoveries of how it functioned in
nature and the human body. One of these, in 1952, was his invention of a device he
called a "cloud buster". This device was able to drain off stale toxic forms of Orgone
(Called deadly Orgone energy or DOR) from the atmosphere and restore normal
meteorological behavior to areas afflicted with droughts and other atmospheric
problems.
Cloud busting is the use of an instrument originally invented by Wilhelm Reich which
utilizes Orgone energy to facilitate these detectable changes in the weather.
Despite the term Orgone being coined by Reich for a life force energy, Prior to this in
the western educational system Baron Reichenbach coined the Odic force Franz
Anton Mesmer had knowledge of the animal magnetism. Also you had Rudolf
Steiner and his associate Guenther Wachsmuth who established the chemical ether
(compared to Orgone by Trevor James Constable) in their works The Etheric
Formative Forces. The chemical ether is understood by Trevor to be what accesses
by his (Trevors) instruments.
Trevor and his late friend Dr Walter stark (Swiss ion expert) is a well known physicist
and characterized the ether as identical to what the Hindus called Prana which in
Vedantic philosophy, it is the notion of a vital, life-sustaining force of living beings
and vital energy.Plus to Mana the concept of an impersonal force or quality that
resides in people, animals, and inanimate objects. The Mana concept is common to
many Oceanic languages, including Melanesian, Polynesian, and Micronesian.
Additionally comparable to what the Chinese call Chi the "life-force" in Chinese
culture and finally to the Lorentz force in electrical theory.
There is a vast scientific and philosophical record of this field dating back to ancient
Greece and the American Indian shamans but this force has never fully been
understood or covered by orthodoxy. The function of a Cloud buster which by its
operating principles cannot be explained using orthodoxy clearly and unequivocally
proves that this field exists. The cloud buster is the missing link for orthodoxy and is
certainly a tangible physical device for attracting and directing this force.
If cloud busting is to be done properly and as originally intended, it must be done
only to repair a damaged atmospheric energy field, not to simply independently

"make rain". It is not wrong to simply restore the climate to normal (due to
counterproductive human activity) and then let nature take its natural course. That is
the way cloud busting is intended to be done. Reich wrote about this concept,
calling it "atmospheric self-regulation".
Cloud busting cannot and SHOULD NOT be used to "make rain"; it CAN and SHOULD
be used to heal a sick and damaged atmosphere and restore a stagnated
atmospheric energy field to normal pulsation. If that is done, rain will happen on its'
own. Nobody has to "make" it. -Anon
The intent of cloud busting is to RESTORE NORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS, not to
break rain records. The understanding is that climate deterioration is caused by a
build-up of DOR (more information on DOR can be found in the faculty section
below). The proper way to do cloud busting is to remove DOR and let the
atmosphere return to its normal behavior.
The goal of any well done cloud buster operation is the re-establishment of
atmospheric SELF-REGULATION which has been obstructed by DOR. Any other use of
cloud busting is malpractice and only adds to the problem of the disruption of
normal weather patterns.
One time or independent rain is not the intent of cloud busting. To be worth
anything, it is necessary to solve the problem on a long-term basis. That means
removal of the DOR-blockage that is causing the problem and restoration of the
normal pulsation of the atmosphere so it will continue to produce rain at regular
intervals by itself without further intervention. It would also be necessary to go about
it gradually so you do not cause erosion. Just dumping water on sand is not going to
help. You must first gradually humidify the area so plant life starts to revive and can
hold the soil. Then, after months of increasing humidity and plant growth, you can try
for rain without just washing away soil.
Therefore there is a possibility that by the (miss) use of such an instrument that one
can create a sloppy cloud buster oversaturation. One can easily and
unintentionally allow storm after storm damage in his/hers own area. Cloud busting
inevitably covers a large area. Any write ups and data collected from cloud busting
experiments must not be recorded as poor science. An acceptable standard can
be referenced in Reichs recording of his cloud busting work that was published in his
book contact with space.
Cloud busting cannot be done in a free lance way, its benefits will be hindered if
work is being done by one operator without his/her knowledge of another
performing an operation nearby. One must also be able to detect if someone is
cloud busting and where they are operating from.
This specific information on cloud busting work must be universally maintained and
moderated if any operations are to commence and be effective.
This information will be needed someday to help protect the world against people
miss using cloud busters. For more information on how an operation should be
conducted and what factors must be considered please consult the description
section of this document.
Wilhelm Reich first built and experimented with several cloud busters in the
1950's.Most have been since been custom made by various CB operators. However
cloud busting is not for the inexperienced individual. Again this can result in a
dangerous weather modification process and is not a toy so to speak. It is nether
ethical or safe for the unqualified individual who does not understand the original
intent of Wilhelm Reich to perform cloud buster work.
Cloud busting work is known to be dangerous to the health of the operator if proper
pre cautions are not adhered to during the operation of the device. The In
experienced and in proper use of this instrument can result in catastrophic effects

including violent weather, bodily harm, loss of life, and environmental damage. Do
not operate a cloud buster without, authorization and proper knowledge.
For this very reason alone, one must first familiarize oneself with the following
information written by Wilhelm Reich which describes many of the varied operations
and their effects on the weather during his research into this field of work. Some
descriptions of this are contained in the student discussion with Reich's cloud buster
student operators Eva Reich and Bill Moise. Essential information on the dangers of
operations and precautions can be found in the following writings by Wilhelm Reich.

If cloud busting is going to be used by people with nationalistic or other political
agendas it will be nothing but another form of pollution. Cloud busting operations
must only operated under the appropriate guidelines, this way the cloud buster be
effectively prevented from being the worst thing that can happen to the
environment. There is already alarming evidence to suggest that other harmful and
dangerous methods of weather modification processes is occurring. These methods
are known to be counterproductive to health and the environment. These methods
include The HAARP Program.
Information on the HAARP project
Established in 1992, HAARP, based in Gokona, Alaska, is an array of high-powered
antennas that transmit, through high-frequency radio waves, massive amounts of
energy into the ionosphere (the upper layer of the atmosphere). Their construction
was funded by the US Air Force, the US Navy and the Defense Advanced Research
Projects Agency (DARPA). Operated jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory
and the Office of Naval Research, HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas
capable of creating controlled local modifications of the ionosphere. According to

small, localized change in ionospheric temperature so physical reactions can be
studied by other instruments located either at or close to the HAARP site.
Of further concern is the alleged use of chemtrials to facilitate the coordination of
this HAARP system. More detail on HAARP and this problem has been included in the

As of 2009 - There remains years of documented evidence in the Wilhelm Reich
institute files, numerous books, not to mention evidence contained in the replicated
experiments performed by Trevor constable and James DeMeo (just to name a few)
to validate the science of cloud busting and of Orgonomy as a whole.
Trevor Constables work

George K. C. Wuu, and Trevor James Constable are both founders of ETHERIC RAIN
ENGINEERING PTE LTD Singapore. Trevor has had proof of his CLEAN non chemical
weather modification process for over 10 years. This technology can also be used to
contain hurricanes and help contain bush fires. In Southern California back in 1987
around 200 scientists from overseas countries were brought in by the California air
resources board. All were organized into some 50 teams. These teams were
strategically sited throughout California for the most ambitious smog study project in

history. Trevor's operation "victor" started at the same time and by the end of the third
week in July the air in southern California was so clean that it deprived the visiting
scientist of the statistical opportunity to gather valid samples- As a result they were
sent home without data.
The weather modification operation "Victor" was done without malefic intent, Trevor
has stated on record that it was unintentional and done without malefic intent. His
project with a 5 thousand dollar budget had put out of action the state air resources
board project which finished up costing the California tax payer more than ten
million dollars. After the project "victor" phase was finished in August, suddenly they
were getting the cleanest air in thirty years - however the way it went into the
records was as a metrological "fluke". So in essence, regardless both a study and a
result were both achieved due to the cloud busting operations.
In 1989 the operation "breakthrough" commenced again, during the 1989 smog
season. And again the smog was dissipated the statistical records state:
Cleanest air in 40 years -Quoted as the best year yet.

Trevors work like DeMeo's is based on the proven weather modification methods of
Reich and can STOP droughts. In 1990, Free Energy Researcher Dr. Peter Lindemann
teamed up with Trevor Constable to break the drought in Santa Barbara, California
using Trevor's rain engineering technology. It took Peter about three months of study
and experiments to understand what the equipment was actually doing.

At that point, orienting the equipment for maximum effect became easy. In a series
of engineered rains between February 2nd and March 6th, 1991, the Santa Barbara
drought was effectively broken, including a spectacular event that filled Gibraltar
Reservoir from bone dry to over-flowing in one night. Later that summer, Trevor asked
Peter to join him in Operation Pioneer to break a drought in Melaka, Malaysia. There,
they engineered 57 measurable rains in 10 weeks of the dry season. Some of his
contributions to Trevor Constable's Etheric Weather Engineering technology are
documented on the website.
The next individual Chen I-wan contacted Panacea and reported to us that he
conducted an interview which was published on Feb. 12, 2009 by the Northern
Weekend: China Disaster Prevention Expert Introduces the "Rain Engineering" New

A particular Modern American scientist James DeMeo, Ph.D., has already replicated
and performed proven rain making methods which are based on the original work
of Wilhelm Reich. Over the last decade, James was repeatedly contacting various
persons and officials in Australia, trying to organize a project in NSW, or to green up
the outback. No replies were forthcoming, unfortunately. James had seen the
Forbes article in early August, and tried to contact them actually, but nothing there
either.
James is willing to help Australia/others with participation only so long as it gets
approval from official sources, and covers all the expenses either from officialdom or
private parties, which are considerable for launching such a project from here to
there. Reference to James work.
This technology also has hurricane control applications and can also be used to
help contain bush fires plus the WATER economy. It is obvious that given the
technical capacity this technology has, those who have vested interested in
contracts that treat the drought/fires in other ways, would lose financially from this
method IIn Wilhelm Reichs Journals, Reich lists proven records of weather
engineering in Appendix. Panacea can reproduce these for government and
faculties upon request.
Panacea has already made the Australian Minister go on record to acknowledge
the already proven cloud busting technology. Panacea contacted the Australian
Queensland government's Minister for Mines and Energy. Panacea had attempted
to arrange an appointment to present the available alternative energy
technology which can replace fossil fuels and solve the drought problem in Australia
and overseas!.

The nonprofit organization has heard nothing back from the Minister's office since
sending the letter in 2007. All Scientific circles, not to mention governments who
have no previous experience in Orgonomy now have no significant reason to ignore
these findings. The public must be informed. Records show that:
1. The experimental evidence was gathered, not by one, but by several wellqualified
scientists of unquestionable integrity.
2. The results showed a fully consistent picture of subjective effects, objective
biological effects, and measurements employing several physical instruments.
3. Observations of each kind were many and repeated.
4. The results are completely inexplicable in terms of traditional physics.
5. All of these effects can be reproduced TODAY.
The suppressed science of Orgonomy has many beneficial applications for
humanity. These include Orgone biophysics, therapy, child raising, social and
political theories. Simply put; Orgonomy needs a public face.
TODAY there is no justification for ANY institution to deny these findings. There is no
justification to continue to refuse to investigate these findings for both an alliance
and the therapeutic application of Orgonomy to benefit the public.
Wilhelm Reich has suffered enough suppression and hard ship. Here Wilhelm Reich is
speaking about being alone in his work about a year after the Oranur (more info
below in the faculty section) experiment. Feeling alone as even good friends do not
understand what he has lived or discovered. Wilhelm speaks about the "NO" in
humans and how they do not understand the Oranur experiment and the good it
may realize.

Orgonomy is much more than cloud busting alone. It can be considered to be more
related to a part of biology than of physics. The understanding of how life functions is
central to Orgonomic theory in all sub-disciplines, including cloud busting. Without it,

there would be no chance of proper cloud busting, or of real progress in the field.
Panacea is not providing the following information for ANY individual to simply
conduct his/hers own rain making demonstrations.
Panacea is not making this information available for people to profit by artificially
creating rain from doing rain making freelance work. For this security the
information wil only be available under controlled conditions. Panacea performed
our tests in order to validate the science and help the original works and vision of
Wilhelm Reich to reach the public. Mainstream faculties and governments not to
mention the general public must be aware of Reichs findings and we all must
benefit from them.
Currently in this underground field there are individuals involved in the Reichian
groups who have formed border line personality cults and who all have their own
interpretation and application of Reichs teachings. Some people at times try to act
in an authoritarian character structure and promote themselves as suit-and-tie
Reichian or Orgonomy professionals". There are also personal feuds involved. Reich
wrote a whole book about this factor. It is called, Listen, Little Man. There is a most
unhappy history of Orgonomy since the death of Reich. This is not what Wilhelm
Reich (or Orgone science) needs, or would have wanted.
Therefore, unfortunately for the unaware persons or scientist, when ever first
contacting a Reichian and mentioning other particular Reichians- Until you know
what their specific relationship is, a mutual communication may be conflicting or a
little slow.
The whole movement has been is riddled with feuds, personality clashes,
factionalism, policy disagreements, egotism, and mutual hostility. Further when
people who are easily influenced by other peoples opinions first find out about
Orgone energy, they tend to ask around among the representatives of official
science to find out what the "experts" think of it.
When they find out it is considered a crackpot science by them, they lose interest in
it. The only ones who remain interested and who eventually go on to become
experts in Orgonomy are those who do not care what the official experts think. This
much change.
And such people are not likely to yield to the opinions of other Reichians either. It
is a personality trait that most serious Reichians share - To go ones own way
regardless of anyone elses opinions. That does not make for the best harmony or
cooperation
or help Orgonomy progress. If Reich had of been able to predict this, he
may have written more about the psychology of it to help prevent it.
The modern Orgonomy student has had to be the kind of person who can ignore
the weight of authority and the built-in conditioned assumptions of the culture that
one was raised in. Plus be fairly independent-minded, individualistic and nonconformist.
This sort of student does not give in quickly and easily to peer-pressure.
This is the non-conformist ideology called Orgonomy.
One must deal with this current situation as objectively as possible in order to help
the science of Orgonomy reach the public to capacity. At this time there is not much
of a chance that any people in Orgonomy who are acting as individualistic
egotist will CURRENTLY work together. If they were the kind of personality that would
work together right away then they would not be the kind of personality that would
ever get into Orgonomy in the first place.
HENCE.- The entire field of Orgonomy must not be riddled with in-fighting, feuds,
personal vendettas, and factionalism to a degree of beyond belief. The whole
movement has stagnated ENOUGH due to this. TODAY that does not mean that we
cannot bring each individuals contribution together to BENEFIT the science and

awareness of Reichs teachings, people must now come together and see past
personal differences.
These include all individuals involved in Orgonomy: If they cannot get along now
and today than at the very least fighting must stop. Further due what some consider
a liability risk, some individuals do not want anything to do with any government
support of cloud busting operations and have opted to accept private sector
funding only.
Plus most individuals involved in cloud busting operations at this stage do not wish to
be involved in anything that is publicly known. The reason being they fear the liability
risks would be far too great. For example fear of being sued for any inadvertent
flood damages that might occur, criminal charges of manslaughter if someone was
injured from weather-related factors and under existing weather modification laws.
However the main reason why cloud busting is currently not supported, well known
or even in wide spread use is due to a LACK OF FUNDING. Both James DeMeo and
Trevor Constable for example have been unable to perform work in Australia and
other countries to capacity due to a lack of funding or government and faculty
interests.
Neither could Charles Kelley, who was a student of Reich, had professional
experience as a meteorologist, had been a science consultant for NASA, had a
PH.D and still never managed to get a grant in nearly 50 years of trying.
Kelley wrote the first book on cloud busting, which is still the best book in the field.
Kelley, C. R. A New Method of Weather Control. Jerome Eden also wrote a very
good instruction manual, but hardly anyone ever read it. He offered a course in
cloud busting for over 10 years. Only 5 people signed up for it in all that time. Ralph
Markson is a top atmospheric physicist at MIT. He did cloud busting for 5 years as a
grad student in the early 60s. He will not even talk about it now. He has a career to
think of.
In Australia you have Paul Ritter, who was the first British Reichian, published an
Orgonomic journal in England for 10 years before immigrating to Australia, and is
certainly as knowledgeable on the subject as anyone alive. If there was any
potential for funding in drought stricken Australia, this individual should be consulted
for local advice, though he is now in his 80s and might not care to get directly
involved.
In Germany, both John Trettin (Translated page) and Jurgen Fischer are
experienced and knowledgeable in cloud busting. Trettin does not speak English;
neither of them has ever managed to get any funding for it, even though Trettin is an
old friend of high-level German government officials.
Getting funding has so far not been a problem for anything besides Cloud buster
work, as with this as at least people can grasp what it is you are trying to do. But
healing a sick atmosphere? Restoring natural pulsation to the atmosphere?
Removing DOR? Mobilizing stuck energy? People won't even know what you are
talking about without a lot of tutoring.
Despite this Cloud busting is not foreign to Australia; one individual known to us
conducted the first cloud busting project in Australia, in 1971. This was performed
from a site just north of Toowoomba, Queensland (documentation can be found in
Queensland newspapers for June and July of 1971.). If you look up the Brisbane and
Toowoomba newspapers for those months, you will find several reports on it. One of
them was on the front page and included a photo of the cloudbuster.
Currently this individuals budget does not permit him to return Australia. Most of the
individuals involved in this work are only currently available as consultants if privatesector
funds should become available. There are to the best of Panaceas
knowledge no others then those mentioned performing rain making cloud busting

stimulants are dispersed into the atmosphere to affect a small region, cloudbusting

pulsation, which as Reich discovered is a fundament for good cloud growth and
development. In this sense, cloudbusting takes more of its theoretical background
from the biological sciences than from mainstream physics, which only speaks of a
dead atmosphere and 'empty space'. From the Reichian perspective, we view the
atmosphere, Earth, and cosmos as being filled with a living pulsatory energy,
somewhat in keeping with the 'living Earth / Gaia Hypothesis' of Lovelock, except
that Reich's orgone is an objectively demonstrable energy, and not merely a
theoretical speculation.
Reich described the healthy atmosphere as characterized by cycles of rain-dry-raindry,
which were caused by natural energetic pulsation and self-regulatory properties
of the orgone energy itself. Hard deserts and drought regions had lost this pulsatory
capacity, as Reich described it, becoming energetically stagnant and immobilized.
With the cloudbuster we have a means to re-invigorate and mobilize the
atmospheric energy, and thereby restore energetic pulsation. Once this is done, like
restoring a heart-beat to someone whose heart has stopped, natural rainfall cycles
resume and we put away our equipment and do no additional work. It is only used
for brief periods." In this context, DeMeo explained, the cloud busting method is like
a form of atmospheric acupuncture, where the "acupuncture needle" or
"cloudbuster" is used for brief periods to stimulate and restore a flow or movement of
energy, after which the "symptoms" of atmospheric blocking and "illness" -- drought --

is eliminated. DeMeo noted that, with both acupuncture and cloudbusting, classical
science has a hard time to understand them, as the background energy of Chinese
medicine and of cloudbusting, is not generally known or accepted by those who
haven't studied them. "Nevertheless" DeMeo said, "they both work." Source
The Term Cloud busting is described by Reich as one that shall denote all
engineering techniques which deal with the destruction as well as the formation of
clouds of water vapor in the atmosphere and of orgone energy concentration of all
kinds including gravity; briefly with all phenomena which are related to or derive
from atmospheric or energy changes of all kinds, the origin of deserts as well as
areas of green vegetation, and all similar functions which depend on the presence
or the absence, on the scarcity or plenty fullness of OR energy, oxygen , water vapor
, rain ,sun and wind and their interaction. P 33 "CORE July 1954 Vol. VI Nos. 1-4".
DOR in the atmosphere keeps the movement of the normal flow of Orgone Energy,
west to east, from happening so no clouds can form because of the lack of moisture
and potential. In contact in space, Reich drew from against the OR energy flow to
start more good OR energy flowing into the area. Depending on how bad the DOR
is entrenched, drawing from different regions, like overhead and from the east help
to break up the DOR so that normal operations can be successful.
The cloud buster is used to remove DOR by a decrease in OR potential (the breakup
of a cloud), an increase in OR potential (creation of rain clouds) or by the
disturbance of the OR equilibrium in the atmosphere (the removal of fog). This is
basically achieved by the DRAW of the OR potential or triggering to flow in certain

Its purpose is to draw OR energy charges out of the atmosphere and clouds. The
cloud buster draws the charges slowly, in small amounts at a time. These methods of
operation are discussed in the construction manual (information below). The system
of removal is based on the orgonomic potential which denotes all functions in
nature which depend on the flow of cosmic energy, or potential from LOW to HIGH
or WEAKER to STRONGER SYSTEMS. The orgonomic potential is contrary to the
mechanical potential of heat, electromagnetic energy, mechanical potential of
position etc.
There certain procedures for certain operations, this is best described in the
publication CORE July 1954 Vol. VI Nos. 1-4".
RULES GIVEN BY RECIH TO FOLLOW REGARDING THIS WORK IN CLOUD ENGINEERING
Published by Orgone Institute in "GOR" July 1954 Vol. VI Nos. 1-4; appendix A"
* 1. Shed all ambition to impress anyone.
* 2. Never play around with rain making or cloud busting. The OR envelope which
you tackle while "drawing" energy from the atmosphere is an energetic continuum
of high power. You may cause twisters. You may stir a forest fire into the wrong
direction. You may do other damage without intending to do so. Never do anything
unless you must.
* 3. If experimenting: it is important to observe and know why you are doing what,
that you can achieve immediate results. Slowly growing comprehension will secure
later results safely.
* 4. In cloud engineering you do not create rain," - you do not destroy clouds," briefly, you are not playing God. What you do is solely helping nature on its natural
course.
* 5. Have your equipment, truck, etc. especially all metal parts well grounded into
water, preferably flowing water. Lack of grounding imperils your organism.
* 6. Do not let workers draw OR energy any longer if they become blue or purple in
their faces or feel dizzy. Exchange the workers; let them rest far enough way, and
have their faces and arms always wetted down with fresh water.

* 7. Do not hold on to pipes or other metal parts while you draw OR. Always use a
separate plastic or wooden handle to move equipment while drawing. Have your
hands always well insulated with rubber or heavy cotton gloves.
* 8. Have signs put up in such a manner that no one is hurt by OR charges. Do not let
people stand close by. Among them may be men or women who are ill and would
run some danger to their health.
* 9. Never drill a hole into the sky right above you unless you aim for a long drawn
rain.
* 10. When you feel a breeze or wind setting in due to your operation, stop drawing if
the wind direction becomes too strong or even if it acquire the appearance of a
twister.
* 11. If you wish to remove DOR clouds, draw in direction of run of OR envelope.
* 12. If you wish to DESTROY clouds or to stop rain, aim at center of heaviest clouds.
* 13. If you wish to make clouds grow heavier, draw from the vicinity of the smaller
clouds, and have the large or heavy clouds undisturbed.
* 14. If there are no clouds in the sky and clouds should be created, disturb the
stillness or evenness of the OR envelope all around you by brief, sweeping draws and
draw mainly against the run of the OR envelope. To create clouds you must create
differences of OR energy potentials.
* 15. (By GOR) Under no conditions should you have any electrical wires, electrical
instruments of any kind, or any radioactive material near a cloud buster during any
operation. Severe health problems may result.

General approval data for weather modification operations
Note- The intent of cloud busting is to RESTORE NORMAL WEATHER CONDITIONS, not
to break rain records. Climate deterioration is caused by build-up of DOR. The
proper way to do cloud busting is to remove DOR and let the atmosphere return to
normal behavior. The goal of any well-done cloud buster operation is the reestablishment
of atmospheric SELF-REGULATION which has been obstructed by DOR.
Any other use of cloud busting is malpractice and only adds to the problem of the
disruption of normal weather patterns.
After checking on Australian weather modification laws we have found (to the best
of our knowledge) that there is not any specific legislation AGAINST weather
modification, but there are several laws AUTHORIZING it for specific programs at
specific times and places. It seems that in Australia, unlike in America, weather
modification is required to obtain a specific legislative act authorizing it and is
otherwise considered to fall under the National Parks and Wildlife Act of 1974, the
Wilderness Act of 1987, the Fisheries Management Act of 1994, Threatened Species
Act, 1995, Local Government Act, 1993, Protection of the Environment Operations
Act, 1997, and Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979.
Any weather modification done without a legislative act exempting it from these
Acts is a violation of them. In the following - Weather Modification Law document
Under 2 Definitions, Rain Making" refers specifically to "cloud seeding" and nothing
else. It does not apply to cloud busting Orgone engineering or etheric weather
modification.
However we advise to instruct the authorities due to possible damage and not
warning others of operations. If this sort of code of conduct is not sort prosecution
may be possible. There is also a good chance that when the government is
convinced the process is effective that any publicly-known cloud busting will
automatically become illegal.
Demonstration criteria
This is certainly data that needs to be presented as a standard for an international

accepted doctrine of CB operation. As much SPECIFICS would help make this into a
code of conduct that is effectively usable. For example where and how much DOR
is there and what sort of operation would be used to disperse it. Example: Time
duration, operation and assessment for the SCIENCE part. Warnings and area
prepared for operations etc.
The bulk of these are dependent on subjective criteria, one must FIRST learn enough
about orgone energy and how it looks, feels, and acts in a multitude of different
situations to be able to recognize what you are seeing and then know what to do.
Note - In a cloud buster operation the situation is never static. These kinds of details
cannot be recorded by mechanistic thinking as that just does not work in dealing
with orgone energy or Orgone weather engineering.
If a demonstration is performed for example, on a farm, what must be considered is
the time-frame that is involved in the process. A proper solution to the underlying
drought tendency would take several years, but to convince a client, something
would obviously have to be done fairly rapidly.
Even in conventional cloud seeding work, nobody even talks about a single rainfall;
the emphasis is on the amount of rain that falls over the course of a season.
As mentioned earlier, if cloud busting is to be done properly, it must be done to
repair a damaged atmospheric energy field, not to independently "make rain". It is
never wrong to simply restore the climate to normal and then let nature take its
course. That is the way cloud busting should be done. Reich wrote about this
concept, calling it "atmospheric self-regulation".
But that takes time. To do a really proper job for example in the current situation for
example in Australia it would take several years. And nobody will wait that long if
they are paying for it. The customer will quite naturally want quick results.
It is indeed possible to get quick results with a cloud buster, but those results will not
be permanent. It will rain, then go right back to drought conditions after you stop
working. You end up with an artificial climate regime dependent on continual
intervention by humans.
There is no way to convince anybody except by statistics, and that takes at least
several months. However it is still possible to bring at least some rain almost anywhere
in a week or two, but the argument would always come up that it might have rained
anyway. The only way to be convincing is to stay there and do it again and again
until it is obvious you are doing it.
Explaining this is usually difficult, so it must be made clear to the client right from
the start that a single rain proves nothing and a full season of work is going to be
needed. So what we need to call it is a pilot project, not a demonstration.
The second factor is that to do it responsibly and avoid as much risk of damage as
possible, there should be an ecologist as part of the team right from the planning
stages. Professional ecologists must not only be consulted but also MUST HAVE
KNOWLEDGE OF THE LOCAL ECO SYSTEM.
There also needs to be some thinking about what constitutes success. The amount of
rain that falls is only one possible criterion. A more relevant one might be the actual
effects on vegetation on the ground, which might vary greatly depending on what
time of year it was. So we would need to agree in advance exactly what the goals
were and how we would know if we were successful or not. To do a true scientific
study, the thing to do would be to take a botanical census of several representative
acres in the target area, then do the cloud busting project over a set time period,
then take a botanical census again and compare them. If there are more types of
plants the second time, you did something right; if there are fewer types of plants,
you have screwed up.
This criterion, which measures biodiversity, is the real measure of success, not just the

amount of rain that falls. How many centimeters of rain in a rain gauge is not a
measure of what effect you are having. The biological effect is more important. Rain
at the wrong season can do more harm than good. From this you can see what
some of the potential problems (if not addressed) are and how much thinking there
needs to be done prior to the actual work begins.
To validate the science of a cloud buster
A simple demonstration is possible in order to show that SOMETHING is happening as
a DIRECT result of the cloud buster apparatus. The cloud buster operator does not
need to make rain in order to perform this simple demonstration, so all safety
guide lines are in place.
A cloud buster operator is able to simply break up a larger cloud into a smaller one.
The fastest and easiest way is to break up small cumulus clouds directly ahead of the
cloud buster while other small clouds, off to either side, are unaffected.
This can be shown very dramatically by fixing a motion picture camera with a wideangle
lens to the cloud buster, aimed directly ahead. When the film is speeded up
the targeted clouds will seem to literally EXPLODE, while the clouds to the sides will
remain untouched. It makes a very good film. With the cloud buster and the clouds
both in the same frame, there is no room for any other interpretation. Plus this can be
repeated on demand. The clouds aimed at will then break up; the others do not,
clear and simple.
Note-Trevor constable has a good set of videos in his DVDs already showing clouds
breaking up in a cloud buster. Both in regular and speeded up versions. One must
do this as a one off as to do this often can take moisture out of the air and even
cause a drought.
An individual called Christophe Keller made a similar film although he created rain in
his work. This presentation largely shows the ARTISTIC or aesthetic value of the cloud
buster as he is primarily an artist and does this kind of work. To his credit he labeled
the experiment as something to prove the science of Wilhelm Reich.

Panacea wishes to advise any individual in the future who intends to do a similar
project or for anyone who intends on presenting the works of Reich as a public face
to consider the following. Orgonomy is not just ART. You can still present all the
THEMES when doing ART work, for example someone selling HEMP, paintings (made
from HEMP etc) is still able to give out or display an educational pamphlet
accompanying it. This can detail the education, science, industrial espionage and
ACTIVISM regarding the SUBJECT matter. This can help the issue immensely.
ART is one of the ways to express the SUBJECT. But a SUBJECT still needs the observer
(especially when Orgone is involved) to cogitate over it. Whenever someone has
anything associated with Orgone this requires being more objective then the
expression of art alone. The nonprofit organization is involved in this synergism,
education and activism of Reichian SCIENCE.
Another individual named Charles Kelley made films of this. Some of the stills from
the movies were reproduced in his book, A New Method of Weather Control, 1961.
Despite this he was still not able to get funding from any government agency or
university for further research and education.
The Don Croft Cloud Buster
The Don Croft Cloud buster

This device is understood by the Reich communities NOT to be the same as the Reich
cloud buster or have the same function. It is also thought to be dangerous. This has
only been mentioned here for reference. This device is described as:
Building on the research of Wilhelm Reich, and assisted by his partner Carol, Don
created a cheap, portable and easy to build device that consistently clears
chemtrails and helps heal the atmosphere. The basic, original Croft "chembuster" is a

device which converts the deadly orgone produced by chemtrails and other
noxious energies to positive orgone energy, and so (unlike the Reich cloudbuster)
does NOT need to be discharged, nor does it require special handling to avoid
danger to its operator or its environment.
Further like the Don Croft device, ORGONITE has not been created directly by
Reich or understood to be related. The name orgonite was first coined by Karl Welz
to describe a mixture of non-organic (metal shavings) and organic (fiberglass resin)
materials, the combination of which is alleged to produce orgone energy and eat
DOR.
Don & Carol Croft invented 'tactical' orgonite devices they called orgone
generators (as well as adding crystals to enhance their effect) named the Holy Hand
Grenade (HHG), Tower buster (TB) and Cloud buster (CB) to deal with Chemtrails,
HAARP, among many other applications. Also they have invented an orgonite
zapper. The best introduction is Don's book: The Life Etheric with Carol Croft. There
are groups now distribute orgonite (called gifting). Panacea cannot comment on

DOR/ORANUR
DOR (Deadly Orgone) is understood to be caused by air pollution, putrefaction,
radioactivity, high-energy electrical discharge. It is also discovered by Reich to be
absorbed and "held" by water, which is Reich reasoned water can become
stagnant. DOR is not just a short-fall of orgone in the body. It is stagnant orgone,
orgone that has been stuck. It has stopped moving. It no longer pulsates. This is what
it is in the atmosphere also. The DOR clouds are areas of stagnation and slower
pulsation, not just areas of weaker charge or excess charge.
ORANUR- Stands for Orgone against Nuclear Radiation (Orgonomy, Wilhelm Reich).
Oranur conditions are overcharge conditions, and after a while, when the orgone
gets tired of fighting against DOR, it lapses into DOR, losing energy and becoming
stagnant. DOR is not overcharge. With his Oranur experiment, Wilhelm Reich
attempted to find ways of using orgone against the effects of nuclear radiation.
The effects of this experiment proved to be devastating on the surroundings of the
experiment, and Reich realized the emergence of a form of life force that appeared
to be rigidified, stale. Reich labeled this energy DOR, or Deadly Orgone energy.
DOR had extremely negative effects upon the human organism and life forms in
general, and in an atmosphere of DOR.
The amount of DOR/oranur has been increasing since the 50s. While DOR is a natural
part of the orgonomic cycle, the amount that now exists, due to human technology,
is far more than would exist naturally and more than can be metabolized by the

normal energy processes. The global energy field reacts to the excess by strong
circulating motion, such as tornados and hurricanes, to cleanse itself. That is one
reason for an increase in both the strength and frequency of such storms. There
would also be numerous biological effects, none of them good. In humans these
might include psychological/cultural effects as well.
A local build-up in your region might give the impressions you reported without
necessarily being global in extent. But if the build-up really is of global extent, there
are several possible reasons. One is some nuclear accident such as a reactor
meltdown. Another is a nuclear bomb explosion. Another possible cause might be
the burn-up in the atmosphere of a plutonium-powered payload from a failed
space launch.
The placing of a large number of nuclear warheads on combat-ready alert status
could also cause a world-wide increase in oranur. When a bomb is made ready for
launch, the initiator or trigger assembly is placed in the center of it. This trigger
consists of polonium, which is 4,000 times more radioactive than the plutonium or
enriched uranium in the outer parts of the bomb.
Since the bomb is constructed in a series of concentric shells of different materials
like an orgone accumulator, placing the polonium in the center is like placing it
inside an orgone accumulator. An oranur reaction is triggered. This is why an atomic
bomb test can be detected hours before the bomb actually goes off.
That may be why the American stockpile of combat-ready bombs at the Navy base
on Diego Garcia Island in the Indian Ocean is causing the drought in Australia by
breaking up and deflecting oncoming weather fronts before they get to Australia.
Regardless of cause, the effects are the same. More oranur and DOR added to the
already too-great burden of this planet. And that works out as more weather
convulsions and more biological breakdowns.

Additional evidence for orgone energy is the effect of the Reich weather control
apparatus, the "cloud buster" as he called it. This apparatus is a kind of antenna,
which, upon being grounded into water, is said to be capable of withdrawing
orgone energy from the sky in the direction it, is pointed. It was claimed by Reich
that it could dissipate clouds by withdrawing energy from them. It was also claimed
that the device could be used to trigger rainfall when none was expected and even
to break droughts.
If these claims are true, Reich's apparatus is surely one of the remarkable inventions
of all time. Are they true? I believe that I am in an especially good position to
evaluate these claims, because I was for nearly three years a weather forecaster in
the Air Force and because I have worked experimentally with the Reich apparatus
for many years.
The results of my experiments are perfectly clear; the Reich weather control
apparatus does exactly what Reich claims it does. Clouds at which the antenna is
pointed shrink and disappear from the sky, while comparable clouds selected as
controls do not. Figures 1 & 2 are representative of results that I have obtained again
and again.

More difficult than cloud destruction are rainmaking experiments. These require
careful preparation, observation of conditions, and skilled use of the 1 antenna. Let
me quote the results of my experimental rain-making operations:
In the five experimental rain-making operations I carried out, unpredicted
precipitation occurred within 36 hours in every case. These are my only rain-making
operations, so the results cannot be attributed to the omission of negative instances.
The operations were each timed to begin when rain was unexpected and unlikely. A
conservative estimate of the average probability of rain within 36 hours in the five
cases is .25. This is to say that with the conditions that prevailed at the start of these
operations, the chances against rain within 36 hours are estimated to be, on the
average, three to one, had these operations not taken place or had the apparatus
been ineffective. From this estimate it can be further calculated that if the
apparatus were ineffective, the odds against rain occurring within 36 hours on all of
the five operations are more than a thousand to one. (p = .255 < . 001) It is extremely
unlikely that unpredicted rain would have occurred on these five occasions unless
the apparatus did work.
There are additional effects brought about by the weather control apparatus of
equal value as evidence but more difficult to describe briefly. The sum total of the
results is fairly described, I believe, as a powerful confirmation of Reich's description
of the effects of the apparatus, and its explanation in terms of orgone energy
concepts. The weather control results are utterly incomprehensible in terms of
orthodox science.
Visual Observations. Reich described many conditions under which orgone energy
phenomena could be directly observed. Darkroom observations are especially
important, both of the energy field of the body (the "aura") and of the effects of
orgone energy devices. These take on special significance in the light of the
extensive closely related darkroom observations reported more than 100 years ago
by Baron Charles von Reichenbach, which formed much of the basis for his
discovery of the "odyle" or "odic force." The "odyle" is identical in major respects to
orgone energy, of course. These observations of Reichenbach and of Reich have

In 1971 I went to Queensland with a home-made cloud buster. I set it up at a farm
near Toowoomba, about 80 miles inland from Brisbane. From experience in eastern
North America, I expected rain in two days, so I told the news media four days to
give me two shots at it. It ended up taking me six weeks to get rain. The conditions in
Australia during a major long-term drought were not the same as in New England.
The atmospheric energy field over the whole continent was very much more
stagnant. There was a DOR barrier near Dubbo, on the border of Queensland and
New South Wales that was blocking the normal path of the rains. I tried to drill
through that barrier. I could clearly see the changes in color of the sky where I
pointed the cloud buster pipes, but it would fill in black again as soon as I moved to
draw from somewhere else. I needed more than one cloud buster. I kept drawing
from the barrier to the south of me. For days nothing happened. Then things started
to move far to the south.
Way down around Melbourne the atmosphere started northward. Melbourne had
its' coldest day on record. The next day Sydney had its' coldest day ever. The

following day, Brisbane had the coldest day it had ever had. The next day the cold
air mass collided with the warm moist tropical air over Townsville and the heaviest
rains on record resulted, destroying half the sugar cane harvest. I then turned the
cloud buster around and drew from the North. For three days nothing happened.
Then a warm tropical air mass started to move south. The next day Brisbane had the
warmest day on record. The day after that Sydney had the warmest day it had ever
had. The next day Melbourne had the warmest day ever. It takes much longer in
Australia to get things started, but when they do start, the whole continent is
affected, much more so than in North.
Trevors Cloud busting operation
It is assumed that Robert McCullough, the former employee of Reich may be one of
the individuals that Constable learned from. The corporation AEREO of Singapore
operated as a government agent in Malaysia and was therefore granted
governmental immunity. Malaysia had been suffering drought for many months
from the El Nino phenomenon in the mid 1990's and the situation had grown dire.
AEREO was invited by officials in the Malaysian government to end the drought.
AEREO did break the drought to the gratitude of the people and they did not "skip"
out of the country.
The regional governmental officials had promised One Million dollars on top of
regular pay, if AEREO could fill up the Selangor Dam. What they governmental
officials did not tell Trevor and Mr. Wuu, was the Selangor Dam at that time had a
pressure leak and could not be filled up, as any water above a certain level would
immediately drain out! Although more than enough water entered the drainage
system, they never got those million dollars due to this fraud. Later Malaysian
governments admitted to the fraud and disciplined the officials.
Orgone Accumulator
Experiments demonstrated that organic or non metallic materials such as cotton
wool or plastic attract absorb and hold the energy.
Where Metallic materials like steal or iron attract the energy and quickly reflect it in
both directions
On the basis of these experiments Reich constructed small boxes with alternating
layers of organic and metallic materials.
With the inner walls lined with metal the organic layers attract the atmospheric
orgone energy is then directed inwards by the metal layers any energy reflected
back from the metal layers is re absorbed by the outer organic layers which is then
attracted back to the metal and attracted back to the metal and directed to the
inside of the box or orgone accumulator.
An Orgone accumulator

The result was a higher concentration of orgone energy in the box, the more layers
the higher the concentration this accumulation of energy can be verified in a
variety of ways, for example a constant temperature difference exists between the
air [inside] above the box and in the surrounding air contradicting the second law of
thermo dynamics.

The following comes from Dr Peter Lindemann. One of the best documented
examples of this is the spontaneous temperature rise observed in the "orgone
accumulator", invented by Dr. Wilhelm Reich in 1940. Here, a simple enclosure made
of alternating layers of organic and inorganic material, allows the ambient density of
the Etheric Energy Field to become more concentrated in the local area, without
the application of work. This new and higher energy concentration is then reflected
as a spontaneous rise in temperature. This situation does not break the "Second Law"
in the narrow case, because we admit that new energy is entering the system. It
does break the "Second Law" in the general case because this energy is entering

without the application of external work. Reich's accumulator was designed as an

attempt to shield and isolate this energy from its presence in the environment. His
data clearly showed, however, that he was not able to isolate the energy effects
inside the accumulator because the Etheric Energy Field easily penetrated the walls
of the enclosure. He eventually realized that with regard to Etheric Energy Fields, it
was impossible to "close the system" in the local sense. This is important to understand
because it directly refutes the assumption that the universe consists only of closed
systems at all levels of activity.
The scientific approach to life energy: Karl von Reichenbach, Korschelt
Baron Karl von Reichenbach explored the functions of life energy a couple of
decades after Mesmer. He did not develop accumulators of life energy and, in
fact, he rejected Mesmers invention without ever testing it. Von Reichenbach, who
created the name od for life energy, had it observed in double-blind experimental
arrangements. Consequently he was capable of describing many functions of life
energy. Von Reichenbach became quite famous as a result of inventing new
methods of steel manufacturing. In addition to that, his chemical inventions such as
creosote and formaldehyde were widely accepted. Naturally he was not this lucky
with his innovative approach to life energy, even though he used modern methods
of experimentation and observation when working with his well over 120 test persons.
An interesting accumulator of life energy was built by Korschelt about 100 years
later, in 1897. He called it a Solar ether radiation apparatus. Its effects were similar
to orgone accumulators. These devices have a very low presence of organic
materials and they are rather large, which apparently is making up for this lack of
organic materials. Considering their typical pipe-like shape, these devices
apparently as an antenna of life energy, from which a person can pull the energy
from the surroundings.

Observing weather operations
One way is to watch the weather satellite pictures (with IR) to see how effective an
operation is working. You can use (CRWS Jet Stream Map Menu) site. A passive
observer has noticed that there is a round a seven day oscillation cycle with the jet
stream in the northern hemispheres. So turning the system on and off to match the
planetary jet stream wave can add great effect to the weather modification.

ETHERIC RAIN ENGINEERING GETS AIRBORNE

Effective airborne etheric translators were designed in 1994, initiating a
revolutionary advance in etheric rain engineering. "Bull" translators are under
four feet long, with small cross-section and light weight. Skilled pilots reported
no change in flight characteristics from wing strut installations, but the ability
of these powerful translators to evoke violent weather very rapidly in tropical
locales, necessitated in-flight deactivation of the translators. Safety required

Wilhelm Reich (March 24, 1897 November 3, 1957) was an Austrian-American psychiatrist and
psychoanalyst, known as one of the most radical figures in the history of psychiatry.[1] He was the author
of several notable textbooks, including The Mass Psychology of Fascism and Character Analysis, both
published in 1933.
Reich worked with Sigmund Freud in the 1920s and was a respected analyst for much of his life, focusing on
character structure rather than on individual neurotic symptoms.[2] He tried to reconcile Marxism and
psychoanalysis, arguing that neurosis is rooted in the physical, sexual, economic, and social conditions of
the patient, and promoted adolescent sexuality, open relationships outside marriage, the availability of
contraceptives, abortion, and divorce, and the importance for women of economic independence. His work
influenced a generation of intellectuals, including Saul Bellow, William Burroughs, Paul Edwards, Norman
Mailer, and A. S. Neill, and shaped innovations such as Fritz Perls's Gestalt therapy, Alexander Lowen's
bioenergetic analysis, and Arthur Janov's primal therapy.[3]
Later in life, he became a controversial figure who was both adored and condemned. He began to violate
some of the key taboos of psychoanalysis, using touch during sessions, and treating patients in their
underwear to improve their "orgastic potency." He said he had discovered a primordial cosmic energy,
which he said others called God, and which he called "orgone." He built "orgone energy accumulators" that
his patients sat inside to harness the reputed health benefits, leading to newspaper stories about "sex
boxes" that cured cancer.[4]
Reich was living in Germany when Hitler came to power in January 1933. On March 2, the Nazi newspaper
Vlkischer Beobachter published an attack on one of Reich's pamphlets, The Sexual Struggle of Youth.[5] He
left immediately for Vienna, then Scandinavia, moving to the United States in 1939. In 1947, following a
series of articles about orgone in The New Republic and Harper's,[6] the Food and Drug Administration
(FDA) obtained an injunction against the interstate sale of orgone accumulators. Charged with contempt for
violating it, Reich conducted his own defense, which involved sending the judge all his books to read and
arguing that a court was no place to decide matters of science. He was sentenced to two years in prison,
and in August 1956, several tons of his publications were burned by the FDA,[7] arguably one of the worst
examples of censorship in U.S. history.[2] He died in jail of heart failure just over a year later, days before
he was due to apply for parole.[8]...
Vegetotherapy and the orgasm
Reich's home in Drammensveien near Olaf Kyrres plass at Frogner, Oslo. A blue plaque reads: "The
physician and psychoanalyst WILHELM REICH (1897-1957) lived and worked here 193539. Developed
character analysis and the body-oriented therapy."
Reich stayed in Norway for five years, working under the auspices of Professor Schjelderup of the
Psychological Institute at the University of Oslo.
He first presented the principles of his vegetotherapy in a paper called "Psychic contact and vegetative
current" in August 1934 at the 13th International Congress of Psychoanalysis at Lucerne, Switzerland, and

went on to develop the technique between 1935 and 1940. Vegetotherapy involves the patient physically
simulating the effects of certain emotions, in the hope of triggering them. Reich argued that the ability to
feel sexual love depended on a physical ability to make love with what he called "orgastic potency." He
tried to measure the male orgasm, noting that four distinct phases occurred physiologically: first, the
psychosexual build-up or tension; second, the tumescence of the penis, with an accompanying charge,
which Reich measured electrically; third, an electrical discharge at the moment of orgasm; and fourth, the
relaxation of the penis. He believed the force that he measured was a distinct type of energy present in all
life forms.[25]
He was a prolific writer for psychoanalytic journals in Europe. Originally, psychoanalysis was focused on the
treatment of neurotic symptoms. Reich's Character Analysis was a major step in the development of what
today would be called ego psychology. In Reich's view, a person's entire character, not only individual
symptoms, could be looked at and treated as a neurotic phenomenon. The book also introduced Reich's
theory of body armoring. He argued that unreleased psychosexual energy could produce actual physical
blocks within muscles and organs, and that these act as a "body armor" preventing the release of the
energy. An orgasm was one way to break through the armor. These ideas developed into a general theory
of the importance of a healthy sex life to overall well-being, a theory compatible with Freud's views.
His idea was that the orgasm was not simply a device to aid recreation, but was the body's emotional
energy regulator. The better the orgasm, the more energy was released, meaning that less was available to
create neurotic states. Reich called the ability to release sufficient energy during orgasm "orgastic
potency," something that very few individuals could achieve, he argued, because of society's sexual
oppression. A man or woman without orgastic potency was in a constant state of tension, developing a
body armor to keep it in. The outer rigidity and inner anxiety is the state of neurosis, leading to hate,
sadism, greed, and at a political level, fascism and antisemitism.[24]
He agreed with Freud that sexual development was the origin of mental illness. They both believed that
most psychological states were dictated by unconscious processes; that infant sexuality develops early but
is repressed, and that this has important consequences for mental health. At that time a Marxist (see
Freudo-Marxism), Reich argued that the source of sexual repression was bourgeois morality and the socioeconomic structures that produced it. As sexual repression was the cause of the neuroses, the best cure
would be to have an active, guilt-free sex life. He argued that such a liberation could come about only
through a morality not imposed by a repressive economic structure.[26] In 1928, he joined the Austrian
Communist Party and founded the Socialist Association for Sexual Counseling and Research, which
organized counseling centers for workers.
The bion experiments
From 1934-39, Reich conducted experiments looking at vegetative energy in the body, especially the
Galvanic skin response, which became research into the origins of life. These he called the "Bion
Experiments."
He examined protozoa, single-celled creatures with nuclei. He grew cultured vesicles using grass, sand, iron,
and animal tissue, boiling them, and adding potassium and gelatin. Having heated the materials to
incandescence with a heat-torch, he noted bright, glowing, blue vesicles, which, he said, could be cultured,
and which gave off an observable radiant energy. He named the vesicles "bions" and believed they were a

rudimentary form of life, halfway between life and non-life. When he poured the cooled mixture onto
growth media, bacteria were born, he said, dismissing the idea that the bacteria were already present in
the air or on other materials.[27]
T-bacilli
In 1936, Reich wrote that "[s]ince everything is antithetically arranged, there must be two different types of
single-celled organisms: (a) life-destroying organisms or organisms that form through organic decay, (b)
life-promoting organisms that form from inorganic material that comes to life."[28] This idea of
spontaneous generation led him to believe he had found the cause of cancer. He called the life-destroying
organisms "T-bacilli," with the T standing for Tod, German for death. He described in The Cancer Biopathy
how he had found them in a culture of rotting cancerous tissue obtained from a local hospital. He wrote
that T-bacilli were formed from the disintegration of protein; they were 0.2 to 0.5 micrometer in length,
shaped like lancets, and when injected into mice, they caused inflammation and cancer. He concluded that,
when orgone energy diminishes in cells through aging or injury, the cells undergo "bionous degeneration,"
or death. At some point, the deadly T-bacilli start to form in the cells. Death from cancer, he believed, was
caused by an overwhelming growth of the T-bacilli.
Opposition to his ideas
Scientists in Oslo reacted strongly to his work on bions, deriding it as nonsense. Tidens Tegn, a leading
liberal newspaper, launched a campaign against him in 1937, supported by scientists and other
newspapers.[24] Between September 1937 and the fall of 1938, over 100 articles denouncing him appeared
in the main Oslo newspapers.[33]
In 1937, Leiv Kreyberg, the country's top cancer specialist, was allowed to examine one of Reich's bion
preparations under the microscope. Kreyberg wrote that the broth Reich had used as his culture medium
was indeed sterile, but that the bacteria were ordinary staphylococci. He concluded that Reich's control
measures to prevent infection from airborne bacteria were not as foolproof as Reich believed. Kreyberg
accused Reich of being ignorant of basic bacteriological and anatomical facts, while Reich accused Kreyberg
of having failed to recognize living cancer cells under magnification. Thus, Sharaf writes, an opportunity for
scientific exchange degenerated into name-calling.[27]
Reich sent a sample of the bacteria to another Norwegian biologist, Professor Thjtta of the Oslo
Bacteriological Institute, who also said they resulted from air infection. Kreyberg and Thjtta had their
views published in Aftenposten on April 19 and 21, 1938, Krayberg referring to him as "Mr. Reich," alleging
that Reich knew less about bacteria and anatomy than a first-year medical student. When Reich requested
a detailed control study, Kreyberg responded that his work did not merit it.[27]
Reich's The Bion Experiments on the Origin of Life was published in 1938, leading to attacks by the scientific
and lay press that he was a "Jew pornographer," who was daring to meddle with the origins of life. Alan
Cantwell writes that Reich's detractors focused on one paragraph in which Reich wrote that his research
had "proved particularly fruitful for an understanding of cancer," which led to the claim that he was
promoting a quack cancer cure.[25]
By February 1938, his visa had expired. Several Norwegian scientists argued against an extension, Kreyberg

saying, "If it is a question of handing Dr. Reich over to the Gestapo, then I will fight that, but if one could get
rid of him in a decent manner, that would be the best." The writer Sigurd Hoel wondered when it had
become a crime to perform amateurish biological experiments. "When did it become a reason for
deportation that one looked in a microscope when one was not a trained biologist?" Reich received
influential support from overseas, first from Bronislaw Malinowski, who wrote to the Norwegian press in
March 1938 that Reich's sociological work was a "distinct and valuable contribution to science," and from
A.S. Neill, founder of Summerhill in England, a progressive school known throughout the world. Neill also
wrote to the Norwegian press, arguing that "the campaign against Reich seems largely ignorant and
uncivilized, more like fascism than democracy ..." Norway was proud of its intellectual tolerance, so the
"Reich affair" put the government on the spot. A compromise was therefore found. Reich was given his
visa, but a royal decree was issued stipulating that anyone wanting to practice psychoanalysis needed a
licence, and it was widely understood that Reich would not be given one.[33]
Throughout the affair, Reich had issued just one public statement, when he asked for a commission to
replicate his bion experiments. Sharaf writes that the scientific opposition to his work affected his
personality and relationships. He was angered and humiliated by the notoriety he had inadvertently
achieved. His self-confidence undermined, he felt like a marked man, hunted and tormented, no longer
comfortable in public, and seething with bitterness against the researchers who had denounced him.[34]
Orgonomy
Freud had argued that there was a sexual energy called libido, which he initially described as "something
which is capable of increase, decrease, displacement and discharge, and which extends itself over the
memory traces of an idea like an electric charge over the surface of the body," but by 1925 he had rejected
the idea that it was a physical energy.[20] Reich took the idea further, arguing that he had discovered a
primordial cosmic energy. He called it "orgone," and the study of it "orgonomy."
Orgone is blue in color, he wrote, omnipresent, can be seen with the naked eye, and is responsible for such
things as weather, the color of the sky, gravity, the formation of galaxies, and the biological expressions of
emotion and sexuality. He argued that St. Elmo's Fire is a manifestation of it, as is the blue color of sexually
excited frogs. Red corpuscles, plant chlorophyll, gonadal cells, protozoa, and cancer cells are all charged
with orgone, he said.[24]
He argued that humankind had previously split its knowledge of orgone in two: "ether" for its mechanistic,
physical aspects, and God for the spiritual, the subjective.[45] He wrote that, "God-Father is the basic
cosmic energy from which all being stems, and which streams through (the) body as through anything else
in existence."[46]
Orgone accumulators
In 1940, he built boxes called "orgone accumulators" to concentrate atmospheric orgone. Some of the
boxes were for lab animals, and some were large enough for a human being to sit inside. Composed of
alternating layers of ferrous metals and organic insulators with a high dielectric constant, the accumulators
had the appearance of a large, hollow capacitor. Based on experiments with them, he argued that orgone
energy was a negatively-entropic force in nature responsible for concentrating and organizing matter. The
construction of the boxes caught the attention of the press, leading to wild rumors that they were "sex

boxes" that caused uncontrollable erections.[25]

According to Reich's theory, illness was primarily caused by depletion or blockages of the orgone energy
within the body. He conducted clinical tests of the orgone accumulator on people suffering from a variety
of illnesses. The patient would sit within the accumulator and absorb the "concentrated orgone energy." He
built smaller, more portable accumulator-blankets of the same layered construction for application to parts
of the body. The effects observed were said to boost the immune system, even to the point of destroying
certain types of tumors, though Reich was hesitant to claim this constituted a cure. The orgone
accumulator was also tested on mice with cancer, and on plant-growth, the results convincing Reich that
the benefits of orgone therapy could not be attributed to a placebo effect.[citation needed] He had, he
believed, developed a grand unified theory of physical and mental health, a claim regarded by the
psychoanalytic community as quackery.[47]
Experiment XX
In December 1944, Reich began the 20th (Roman numeral XX) in his series of bion experiments.[48] He
filtered all the earth out of an earth bion preparation so that all that remained was clear yellow water, then
buried the test tube outdoors in the frozen ground. When he retrieved it three weeks later and examined it
under a microscope, he saw pulsating plasmatic flakes. Since the yellow water had not contained visible
particulates before it had been frozen, Reich concluded that free orgone energy had condensed out to form
the lifelike flakes. This experiment formed the basis for Reich's later theory that all matter in the universe
had derived from orgone energy via cosmic superimposition.[49]
Cloudbusters
Reich with one of his cloudbusters, which he said could manipulate streams of orgone to produce rain.
Reich posited a conjugate, life-annulling energy in opposition to orgone, which he dubbed Deadly Orgone
or DOR. He wrote that accumulations of DOR played a role in desertification, and he designed a
"cloudbuster" with which he said he could manipulate streams of orgone energy in the atmosphere to
induce rain by forcing clouds to form and disperse. It was a set of hollow metal pipes and cables inserted
into water, which Reich argued created a stronger orgone energy field than was in the atmosphere, the
water drawing the atmospheric orgone through the pipes.[20]
Reich conducted dozens of experiments with the cloudbuster[citation needed], calling the research "Cosmic
Orgone Engineering." In 1953, a drought threatened Maine's blueberry crop, and several farmers offered to
pay Reich if he could make it rain. The weather bureau had reportedly forecast no rain for several days
when Reich began the experiment on at 10 a.m. on July 6, 1953. The Bangor Daily News reported on July
24:
Dr. Reich and three assistants set up their "rain-making" device off the shore of Grand Lake, near the
Bangor hydro-electric dam ... The device, a set of hollow tubes, suspended over a small cylinder, connected
by a cable, conducted a "drawing" operation for about an hour and ten minutes ...
According to a reliable source in Ellsworth the following climactic changes took place in that city on the
night of July 6 and the early morning of July 7: "Rain began to fall shortly after ten o'clock Monday evening,

first as a drizzle and then by midnight as a gentle, steady rain. Rain continued throughout the night, and a
rainfall of 0.24 inches was recorded in Ellsworth the following morning."
A puzzled witness to the "rain-making" process said: "The queerest looking clouds you ever saw began to
form soon after they got the thing rolling." And later the same witness said the scientists were able to
change the course of the wind by manipulation of the device.[50]
The blueberry crop survived, the farmers declared themselves satisfied, and Reich received his fee.[20]
Orgone experiment with Einstein
Reich discussed orgone accumulators with Albert Einstein in 1941.
On December 30, 1940, Reich wrote to Albert Einstein saying he had a scientific discovery he wanted to
discuss, and on January 13, 1941 went to visit Einstein in Princeton. They talked for five hours, and Einstein
agreed to test an orgone accumulator, which Reich had constructed out of a Faraday cage made of
galvanized steel and insulated by wood and paper on the outside.[51] Einstein agreed that if, as Reich
suggested, an object's temperature could be raised without an apparent heating source, it would be a
"bombshell" in physics.[52]
Reich supplied Einstein with a small accumulator during their second meeting, and Einstein performed the
experiment in his basement, which involved taking the temperature atop, inside, and near the device. He
also stripped the device down to its Faraday cage to compare temperatures. In his attempt to replicate
Reich's findings, Einstein observed a rise in temperature,[53] which Reich argued was caused by the orgone
energy that had accumulated inside the Faraday cage.[54] However, one of Einstein's assistants pointed out
that the temperature was lower on the floor than on the ceiling.[55] Following that remark, Einstein
modified the experiment and, as a result, concluded that the effect was simply due to the temperature
gradient inside the room.[56] He wrote back to Reich, describing his experiments and expressing the hope
that Reich would develop a more skeptical approach.[57]
Reich responded with a 25-page letter to Einstein, expressing concern that "convection from the ceiling"
would join "air germs" and "Brownian movement" to explain away new findings.[54] The correspondence
between Reich and Einstein was published by Reich's press as The Einstein Affair in 1953, possibly without
Einstein's permission....[58]

A Brief History of Orgone Research

In the 1930's and 1940's, Dr. Wilhelm Reich was able to detect and measure the existence of etheric energy
(life energy, chi, etc.), which he called orgone, using a modified geiger counter.
Dr. Reich determined that stacking alternating layers of fiberglass (an organic substance) and steel wool (an
inorganic substance) would actually attract and collect orgone/etheric energy of both the life-beneficial
positive form (which Reich called "OR" or "POR") and harmful negative etheric energy ("deadly orgone" or
"DOR").
Orgone Accumulator Diagram He constructed large boxes called orgone accumulators or "oracs" using this
simple layering principle and was able to successfully heal his patients of various ailments, including various
forms of cancer, by having them sit inside the box for periods of time.
In 1986, scientists at the University of Marburg, Germany published the results of a blind study1 which
showed that 30-minute orgone accumulator treatments caused consistent, positive psycho-physiological
effects not seen with the all-fiberglass box used for a control, stating "the results received in our
investigation furnish evidence for the assumption that the physical properties of the orgone accumulator
and its psychophysiological efficacy on human organisms, postulated by Reich and his associates, factually
exist."
Reich's work was continued in earnest in the 1960's by more open-minded Russian scientists such as Dr.
Nikolai Kozyrev (1908-1983), who also scientifically proved that such unseen energies indeed exist all
around us, and who's Reich-inspired work led to the unfortunate development of practical Soviet military
defense applications which utilized principles of so-called "torsion fields" (e.g., etheric energy). Kozyrev's
work, which indeed confirms both Reich's research and our empirical experiences with orgonite, was
classified until the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.

Following in their footsteps, thousands of Ph.D.-level researchers from both sides of the Iron Curtain
spanning multiple generations have continued Kozyrev and Reich's pioneering work, slowly forcing
mainstream Western science to finally, "officially recognize" the concept of a universal, unseen energy
medium they call "dark matter," "vacuum flux" or "zero-point energy," depending on who you ask. It is
commonly understood among orgonite enthusiasts that these are all essentially describing the same thing,
which Reich called "orgone".

The Etheric Rain Engineering ( E.R.E. ) rain engineering company in Singapore connects directly to the
earliest rain engineering pioneering of Dr. Wilhelm Reich. All current ERE technology is descended from Dr.
Reich's pioneering.
Cloudbuster operator here is the late biologist, Robert McCullough. He was Dr. Reich's personal assistant in
weather engineering, and a longtime friend and technical associate of Trevor J Constable. This cloudbuster,
Magnum 144, used a spiral-wound, 12 feet long 12 inch diameter single tube, and was water-powered.
Scene is the Banning Bench, adjacent to the Mojave Desert in Southern California.

The Flying H at Hatfield Flat

Rotating geometric components and correct orientation of the assembly, were the key operating principles
of the "Flying H" weather engineering unit seen here in 1986. Art is to ENTRAIN the etheric flows via the
"H" device, for regional weather engineering. This unit, with four other bases in July 1986, produced the
wettest Los Angeles July in 100 years. Government fax maps and satellite picturesshowed anomalous
diversion of moisture from the Gulf of California, over 200 miles to the northwest into Los Angeles, which is
statistically rainless in July. TJC pre-filed the operation with NOAA in Rockville, Maryland, with an
engineering drawing showing what was intended. It happened.

Over a developmental period exceeding 30 years, etheric rain engineering has been utilized in numerous
successful operations. Beginning with ponderous, fixed-base operations employing arrays of up to 150
water-grounded tubes, this art and science has continuously evolved. Advances have been both technical
and theoretical. By the year 2002, the huge, static, water-grounded arrays have been replaced by a single,
hollow tube of sensitive construction. These tubes are carried aboard helicopters or light aircraft, and do
not employ chemicals, electric power, or electromagnetic radiation in any form. From inception until today,
action has depended on tapping the latent, native power of the etheric continuum.
Effective airborne etheric translators were designed in 1994, initiating a revolutionary advance in etheric
rain engineering. "Bull" translators are under four feet long, with small cross-section and light weight.
Skilled pilots reported no change in flight characteristics from wing strut installations, but the ability of
these powerful translators to evoke violent weather very rapidly in tropical locales, necessitated in-flight
deactivation of the translators. Safety required no less. Modified devices were moved INSIDE the aircraft
cabin, and a simple procedure permitted in-flight deactivation.
Airborne tests in Hawaii and Malaysia, proved that mobile rain engineering techniques developed in 14
years of high seas rain engineering experiments are far more effective in the airborne mode. The higher
velocity of aircraft, the longer horizon from the air, and infinite heading control, produced visible weather
reactions and rainfall with unprecedented rapidity. Targeting of the rainfall drop area also became feasible.
1998 Malaysian experience confirmed this.
NO CHEMICALS, ELECTRIC POWER OR ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION IN ANY FORM ARE UTILIZED. THESE
NATURAL TECHNIQUES ARE ENVIRONMENTALLY PURE.
Etheric rain engineering now has a powerful new dimension. Vast droughted territories in equatoria may
now be accessed by aircraft equipped for etheric rain engineering. Existing clouds are not required. These
techniques generate their own clouds, from zero if need be. New technical resources exist to deal with
tropical droughts in the here-now, together with the unique operating acumen and experience to apply
these resources effectively.

Throughout 1997-98, practical research continued with etheric rain engineering in the airborne mode.
Successful airborne tests in Malaysia in October of 1997 proved that techniques pioneered in Hawaii were
even more effective in equatoria. Rapid engineering of rainy weather, sometimes violent, made in-flight
deactivation of the quarter-wave Bull units absolutely essential. These translators were originally designed
for attachment to wing struts. Successful test flights in Malaysia and Hawaii proved the feasibility of moving
the translators INSIDE a light aircraft, the etheric P-Gun functioned flawlessly, as though no aircraft were
present. A rain engineering pilot flying solo can now deactivate the P-Gun in the event of heavy weather,
enhancing safety.

A helicopter fitted with a P-Gun is the ultimate rain engineering modality, as proven in Malaysia in April and
May of 1998. Nothing in the history of etheric rain engineering development can compare with a helicopter
for RESULTS. A helicopter permits infinite adjustment of speed from the hover to more than 100 knots.
Experience has proved that the greatest effects in etheric rain engineering usually develop at around 50-60
knots. Helicopters are also unmatched observation platfroms. Their ability to set down almost anywhere is
ideal protection against violent weather. Combined operation of a helicopter and a light aircraft, both
equipped with P-Guns, allows thousands of droughted equatorial acres to be readily accessed and rained,
almost like crop-dusting with water.
OPERATION PINCER II, July 1986. An engineering drawing was filed in advance of this project with the U.S.
Federal authorities (NOAA), detailing the procedure that would engineer rain into Los Angeles in July 1986.
Los Angeles is 'STATISTICALLY RAINLESS' in July. Etheric rain engineering was being pitted against a century
of weather records. PINCER II demonstrated the anomalous diversion - 240 miles out of its normal path into
Arizona - of rain that made July 86 the wettest July in 100 years. The attendant, anomalous thunder and
lightning storm left 300,000 Los Angeles residents without electric power. Entire operation was
documented by US government radar fax maps and storm video.
OPERATION CLINCHER - Smog Dispersal, May-November 1990. Federally-filed in advance with NOAA,
Clincher had as its announced target, a twenty percent SEASONAL REDUCTION of smog. This was to be
across-the-board, for the huge four-county Air Quality Management District, the largest, filthiest smog
region in America. This six month operation utilized 14 etheric vortex generators that had been technically
developed aboard SS Maui. No chemicals, no electromagnetic radiation. Smog took the worst knock, in
every category, since smog began. Reductions of over 60 percent in some of the worst areas. Zero smog in
several. Overall seasonal smog reduction: 24 PERCENT. Comprehensively documented with AQMD
statistical releases.
OPERATION TANGO, Singapore, July 1988. Dry season rain engineering. TANGO, like CLINCHER against Los
Angeles smog, was sponsored and financed by a young Singapore entrepreneur, Mr. George K.C.Wuu - now
the President and Chief Executive Officer of Etheric Rain Engineering Pte. Ltd. TANGO utilized a 46-foot
Hatteras cabin cruiser offshore, coordinated with an Apache etheric vortex generator at Loyang, on
Singapore Island. TANGO raised 30,000 square kilometers of rain over Singapore, Malaysia and northern
Indonesia. TANGO was documented with Singapore government radar maps and mobile video.

In addition to TANGO during this Singapore visit, Mr. Wuu and Mr. Constable carried out operational
experiments with a speedboat and a rotating Termite device. These operations were extremely
enlightening as to the special etheric properties of tropical weather.
OPERATION PIONEER - Melaka, Malaysia, 1991 Dry Season. Fixed base operations, with ancillary gun car
operations on regional roads. PIONEER brought in 38 measurable rains in 57 dry season days, for a total of
327 mm. This is 75 percent of an entire year's normal Melaka rainfall. Melaka is the driest state in mainland
Malaysia. Government radar nevertheless documents unerringly that Melaka was FREQUENTLY THE ONLY
STATE IN MALAYSIA GETTING RAIN during the entire period of PIONEER.
OPERATION RED BARON, Hawaii, 1994-96. - This was the initiating, pioneer series of airborne etheric rain
engineering operations. Rain was successfully engineered from the air, using specially-designed Bull
translators, right from the first flight made for this purpose. Conclusively established the power and
efficiency of airborne rain engineering, as superior to any previous modality. Methods developed in 14
years of maritime mobile work aboard the SS Maui proved much more effective from an aircraft.
Documented by video and via third party media reports. Incorporated in special demonstration video for
government ministers and senior officials.
OPERATION SEGAMAT, Malaysia, October 1997. AEREO -Airborne Etheric Rain Engineering Operations proves effective in a series of exploratory operations in rural Malaysia. These rain flights exploited the
advantages of isolated airstrips without traffic control. The program culminated in Segamat, in central
Malaysia, where a lengthy dry spell had droughted the region. The Segamat Country Club had its own
airstrip. On 14 October 1997, two short, successive rain engineering flights were scheduled, right off the
runway directly to the east. Each flight was to be for no more than 20 minutes at minimum safe speed. The
second flight had to be curtailed to 9 minutes because of imminent heavy weather. Eight hours of rain into
droughted Segamat ensued, which extended some 60 km to the north and west. Documented with radar
fax maps, video and photography. (See the 16-exposure photo recording of this operation at the head of
this section)
OPERATION K.L., Malaysia, April 1998. The Kuala Lumpur region was in a four and a half months period of
drought. Water rationing was in force. 28 hours after Mr. Constable set foot in Malaysia and made an
immediate AEREO flight, the region was deluged. In the subsequent week, a helicopter was used for the
first time in AEREO. Slower, controlled flights in the 40-60mph speed range, proved super-effective.
Coordination of fixed-wing and helo AEREO flights successfully pioneered,. revealing a rich potential.
Nocturnal rains were also engineered into Kuala Lumpur by means of a fixed-base P-gun installation on the
hotel roof. These rains were accompanied by massive thunder and lightning, on the scale of a bombing
attack. Entrenched drought in Kuala Lumpur was countered by natural means, without chemicals or
radiation.
People's Republic of China. September 1999. Sponsored by a HongKong charitable foundation. Supervised
by Mr. Chen Feng, President and CEO of Hainan Airlines, this was a demonstration operation. A single, 20
minute helicopter flight to the east, equipped with a single P-gun, produces rain over Hainan Island, contraforecast and as promised, within 12 hours. Extensive rain resulted in the cancellation of the second
demonstration flight, scheduled for the following day. It was still raining from the first pass. This was the
first airborne etheric rain engineering operation ever conducted in the People's Republic of China.

Orgone Chembuster / CloudBuster
This is based on the Don Croft model of Wilhelm Reichs cloudbuster. The difference between the Croft
model and Reichs essentially lies with the addition of Quartz crystals into the Orgone mix. Dr. Reichs
original cloudbuster needed a running source of water to clear the unit. I make my Chembuster /
CloudBusters a little different from Don Croft, I do use the crystals, Quartz, amethyst, tourmaline, jade and
turquoise. I do not however use aluminum, I follow Reichs warning not to use Aluminum. Most
Chembusters use Aluminum as the main metal. I use steel shavings Reichs traditional metal; as well as

The Problem of Operator Character Structure

...Cloudbusting requires more of the people who engage in it than the mere "desire" to "get involved", or to
"make rain", or the mere mechanical ability to assemble a few pipes and wave them about in the air. For
safe and effective operations to occur, the operator must firstly have a high degree of personal health, and
secondly to know exactly what they are doing, and why. They must have a good working knowledge of the
cloudbusting techniques and methods which have been worked out over the last 35 years. They must be
educated in basic climatology and atmospheric dynamics. Additionally, and most importantly, the
cloudbuster operator must not possess any significant degree of biophysical, emotional armoring. They
must be emotionally fluid, with a capacity for full bioenergetic contact with the natural environment. They
must possess the capability of perceptively understanding the unspoken language of the living, which is
energetically expressed in the atmosphere and landscape.
It must always be kept in mind that the cloudbuster is a tool by which the atmosphere is restored to a state

of self-regulated functioning. It is not a "weather modification" apparatus, like cloudseeding, where the
atmosphere is forced to do this or that, or is "pushed about" to do something it normally would not do.
Anyone wishing to work with a cloudbuster must therefore have an intuitive, gut-level grasp of the concept
of atmospheric self-regulation. For this, they must be self-regulated people, free from significant
biophysical emotional armoring. They must, as much as is possible, be what Reich called unarmored, genital
characters, that is, individuals who have maintained, or regained through therapy, the capacity for making
full contact with their deeper emotions, and who are orgastically potent as defined by Reich. They must not
be openly or secretly cruel, sadistic, or domineering towards the opposite sex, nor be timid or fearful. This
question of how the individual relates to the opposite sex is, aside from other characterological
considerations, a give-away as to their deeper emotional self, and a clear predictor of the attitude and
behavior towards the natural environment...
Negative Biophysical Effects on Cloudbuster Operators
There are other reasons to insist upon good training and therapy for cloudbuster operators. The biophysical
effects of the cloudbuster upon the operator's own organism can potentially be mildly sickening
(headaches, nausea, sinusitus, etc.) or even life-threatening. This real danger has often been dismissed by
various armored persons who were incapable of feeling the movement of the life energy within their own
body, and who could not feel or see it move in the atmosphere. As a result, many people have been made
sick. However, accidents can also occur even when the cloudbuster operator is skilled, and precautions are
taken. For the reasons given here, cloudbuster operators must learn about the mechanisms governing
atmospheric charge, and also techniques for dissipating an overcharge within their own organism, and for
protecting themselves. For example:
1) Several of Reich's assistants were immobilized and greatly sickened by the field effects surrounding his
laboratory during the oranur experiment. Later on, similar reactions occurred in the surroundings of
operating cloudbusters, particularly during desert and drought operations.
2) A man using a cloudbuster in a California desert touched the pipes with his bare hands. He was paralyzed
on one side of his body, and never completely recovered.
3) A cloudbuster operator developed a walnut-sized tumor one day after handling a cloudbuster during a
drought. The tumor was eventually eliminated through orgonomic first-aid, involving therapy, use of the
accumulator, dor-buster, and detoxification techniques.
4) A medical doctor in Germany used a medical dor-buster on his patients for many years. The apparatus
resembles a minature cloudbuster, and functions similarly. He developed a paralysis in the arm he used to
work the apparatus, which later spread to his shoulder and the side of his face, after which he died.
5) A man who used a manually operated cloudbuster for many years in droughty situations became quite
ill, in spite of many precautions. He eventually developed scleroderma and cancer, which killed him.
6) A man with a history of high blood pressure and a stroke had another debilitating stroke a few days after
working as an informal helper on a cloudbuster operation, where his exposure was limited to no more than
15 minutes per day over three days. All the usual precautions had been taken.

7) Other cloudbuster operators have been made very ill from standing too close to the instrument. The
biological effects of overcharge, and of what Reich called dor-sickness, have included high fever, muscle
cramps, nausea, and diarrhea. Severe skin rashes, hives, and "flu" symptoms have also been observed.
Reich noted, the effects of the toxic field around the cloudbuster tends to hit a person at their weakest
spot, causing old health problems to flare-up.

How to Build A Cloudbuster to Disperse Chemtrails and Improve the Weather

Definition of a contrail: A contrail occurs when a plane travels at a high altitude (about 30,000 ft. or more)
and compresses the air into a water vapor or ice crystals through jet engines or the wing tips pushing
through the air. This trail disappears after anywhere from a few seconds to 15 minutes, as the water vapor
evaporates.
Definition of a chemtrail: The term "chemtrail" is a relatively new word, which appeared in the last few
years along with the appearance of chemtrails. A chemtrail is very different from a contrail. At first a
chemtrail might look a bit like a contrail. However, instead of disappearing like a contrail does, a chemtrail
just keeps spreading out and forming a hazy cloud bank. These trails traverse the whole sky and stay for up
to around five or even eight hours. They have been known to turn what was originally a clear blue sky into a
grey haze. (Note: As of Nov 2001 there are already several dozen cloudbusters in seven countries, so if you
see chemtrails that don't last anywhere near this long, there may already be a cloudbuster in the area).
It is believed chemtrails are composed at least in part by an oil based substance of unknown content that is
actually being sprayed from jets on populated areas. It has also been found that some chemtrails contain
red blood cells, aluminum, mycoplasma, viruses and other unknown biological components. There are
many reports of increased diseases, especially respiratory ailments, in areas where there are chemtrails.
Chemtrails are often seen to be sprayed by white planes with no markings. Sometimes you will see these
planes give off no contrail at all, and immediately after the same kind of plane in the same area will start to
leave a thick chemtrail. At other times, distinct short gaps in chemtrails have been photographed, as
though the plane ran out of chemicals and then had to start spraying with a new supply.

History of the Cloudbuster
The Wilhelm Reich cloudbuster (CB) was well known for its ability to create rain. But a problem existed with
its continued use, in that the deadly orgone energy that it absorbed could in fact hurt the operator if it was
not correctly "drained off". This "draining off" of deadly orgone energy was accomplished by 1. Connecting
the cloudbuster to a body of running water (difficult) or 2. Connecting the cloudbuster output to an orgone
accumulator. However, the orgone accumulator would soon become saturated with the deadly orgone

energy which in turn caused more problems for the operator. So the cloudbuster, as good a technology as it
is, has lain dormant for many years.
The Cloudbuster Re-Invented
By utilizing the research of Wilhelm Reich, we have created a cheap, portable and easy to build device that
consistently destroys Chemtrails and heals the atmosphere. The chembuster is the answer to these
ongoing attacks. Unlike the original cloudbuster, the CB changes the deadly orgone energy to good orgone
energy and does NOT become saturated or dangerous to the operator. You can build one for about $150.
A properly constructed CB unit should be able to greatly reduce the effects of chemtrails for about 45 miles
in all directions (90 mile diameter) from the unit. If used with Slim Spurlings environmental tools, and a
few extra crystals, the diameter can be increased to about 120 miles in all directions.
With this device a mere few hundred concerned citizens can SHUT DOWN the multi-billion dollar chemtrail
program. The chembuster cannot do any damage. It can only help and heal. Its up to you to join the fight to
save America.
Chembuster Construction Details
BUCKET: Base: 9" in dia., 9" deep. I use two-gallon plastic buckets from the Home Depot paint department,
but two-gallon food buckets, available from restaurants, or two-gallon spackle buckets from drywall
contractors are fine. Leave the buckets on, as the handles make it easier to move the finished cloudbuster.
COPPER PIPES: Six standard Type M, 1" copper pipes, 6' long, open at one end, the capped ends submerged
to within an inch or so of the bottom of the bucket before casting. For portability and shipping, you can use
12 sections of pipe in the base, adding five-foot lengths by putting couplers between the 12 and five-foot
pieces. You wont need to buy as much copper pipe this way, too.
CRYSTALS: I glued a double-terminated (two pointed ends) quartz crystal, about 2" long, into a .75 section
of garden hose, (or use electrical tape) then, glue to the inside of each of the six copper end caps, pointing
in the same direction as the pipe will be after the cap is glued on. I use 'Goop' glue. Tape, or solder around
the cap where it joins the pipe to prevent resin from leaking into the cap during casting. (Note) Another
option is to add one citrine gemstone to each pipe before adding the crystal, this smoothes the CBs energy
and helps to transmute negative energies. However, citrine does not seem to make the CB any more
effective at eliminating chemtrails.
METAL PARTICLES: Get some metal particles from a machine shop, recycling yard or a place where they saw
a lot of aluminum (sign shops and aluminum fabrication shops are good places to look). I use aluminum for
weight considerations, but ANY metal will do. Very fine particles (such as filings from a key-making
machine) arent quite as good as ones that will easily go through a screen are okay. There really is a
wide margin of suitability! .
PLYWOOD: Template 1 - 3/4 exterior plywood is used to make the base for the copper endcaps/pipes. I
arrange the six pipes evenly around a 2 1/2 radius circle, which makes the pipes 2 1/2 apart on centers. A
flat, 1 1/4 auger bit drills a suitable hole for each end cap.

Template 2 - Make another piece to fit inside the rim of the bucket. Remember to cut a section away so
you can fit your fingers under it to remove it from the bucket. This piece is not part of the finished CB, just
used to get the spacing for the pipes right during construction. Cut the holes in this with a 1 1/8 flat bit so
that it will fit well over the six pipes. This piece will hold the pipes in position while the second batch of
resin hardens.
Template 3 - I make a circular plywood spacer for the top ends of the pipes, 4 radius with 1 1/8 holes on
the same 2 1/2 radius circles for the pipe ends. This keeps the pipes parallel with each other and fairly
rigid.

RESIN: I use polyester resin (used to build fiberglass boats) but epoxy also works, as does envirotech resin
from www.eti-usa.com (this sets up very quickly, so you need to be proficient with it). (If you are going to
construct many of these units, try to purchase your resin in 5 gallon buckets over the internet, possibly
from a surfboard or boat manufacturing supply company. Home depot gets $24 per gallon for resin )
On a level surface, pour an inch or so of catalyzed resin into the bottom of the bucket and stir in metal
particles until the surface is uniform and flat. CAUTION: Resin fumes are flammable; use in a warm, but
well ventilated area.
The ratio that seems to work is approx. one part resin to one part metal particles.
Put the base Template 1 onto that before it hardens, so that it just touches the surface and doesn't sink in
much. Pour a half gallon of catalyzed resin into the bucket after the six pipes are set into the holes in the
base template. Use the dowel to stir in handfuls of metal particles in the same ratio as before. Note that
the wood Template 1 should not be pushed down to the bottom of the bucket with the resin squishing over
the top.
Carefully move the Template 2 down on to the six pipes until it is snugly within the rim of the bucket. Put
the top Template 3 onto the top of the pipes and move them until the pipes are parallel. After the resin has
hardened, remove the second template and set it aside. This is only used during construction, as I
mentioned.
You can finish off putting the resin/metal mixture in now in two stages if you want, up to within a half inch
of the rim of the bucket. Now its finished (wait until it hardens before you move it. You will actually use
about one gallon of metal shavings and 1 gal. Of resin.
A MONEY SAVING SUGGESTION, ALSO FOR BETTER PORTABILITY:
Cut six pipes, 12" long, and put the crystals/endcaps on them for the base. Buy six coupler joints which
allow a pipe to come into them from both directions and stop at the middle. This allows you to make the
rest of the pipe assembly from three pipes, 10' long, cut in half. The finished product leaves you with only
one piece of pipe, four feet long leftover.
When positioning the 12" pipes for pouring the second layer of mix, temporarily tape the top ends of the

12" pipes so no metal particles are dropped in them by mistake.

After the mix is made, take off the tape and push the rim plywood piece down onto the pipes so that it fits
into the rim of the bucket.
Put the spacers (soldered if desired), then the 5' pipes onto the 12" base pipes, then put the third (top)
plywood piece onto the 5 copper pipes.
The pipes will look skewed, most likely, so just twist the top plywood piece around until the pipes line up
parallel. As you do that, the rim plywood piece will move around. You need to do this expeditiously, though
not in a hurry, so that the resin doesn't harden before you're done.
We experimented with 5' extensions to the pipes to increase the range. It had a strong effect on the moon
and on the upper atmosphere of the planet for hundreds of miles. We also apparently shut down the
weather warfare facility under Homestead Air Force Base by leaving the extended cloudbuster pointing at
the dead orgone field above it for a week.
We found that we don't need to point it in any particular direction in order to clear the atmosphere of bad
orgone, and the longer it's left standing, the nicer it feels for a longer distance from the cloudbuster (many
miles). We just stand it on its bottom, pointing straight up. We did once eliminate a belt of smog which was
just off the coast by aiming at it for a few minutes, so direction can be a factor.
Cloudbusters destroy chemtrails consistently. It may take a few days for your cloudbuster to activate the
environment enough to do this, but after that point the spew will disappear within seconds of leaving the
UN jets and dissipated trails that drift within range of the cloudbuster will also disperse, but more slowly.
The ones that are made up of solids take longer to dissipate, but weve found that these only make up
about 10% or so of the spewing episodes.
Dr. Reichs cloudbusters were extremely dangerous when in operation since he had no orgone generator
attached to them. Bad orgone does carry a charge which can quickly drain ones life force away when its
concentrated in one spot. It's similar to a strong positively charges static electrical field. When cloudcover is
unproductive or unbalanced (too much lightning, for instance, or too much rain) the cloudbuster busts it
up.
It also may help stop drought. Overall, it just balances the weather, I think it sort of mediates between the
ground and the atmosphere somehow. The one in Namibia, Africa finally brought heavy rain to the desert
there. It happened 9/5/01, and continued for several days. Gert, the fellow who made the cloudbuster and
reported the occurrence, told me that this had simply never happened in the Namib desert before to the
best of anyone's knowledge. It's arguably the driest region on the planet.
WARNING: If you touch the pipes when theyre drawing in strong unbalanced or dead orgone and dont put
your hand on the base after that, you may experience headaches, even into the next day, as a friend of ours
did recently.
Mind you that our efforts, though somewhat pioneering, should be seen mainly as a springboard for further
developments rather than the last word.

SUGGESTION: If you want even more rain, try putting water on top of the material in the bucket and/or
hosing down the whole apparatus daily. In freezing climates, cover the top of the six pipes so water cant
freeze and shatter the crystals. The CB appears to effect chemtrails equally well whether its placed
indoors or out. Up to seven crystals can be placed in each pipe to improve performance.

Wilhelm Reich's Contact With Space

On January 28, 1954, Wilhelm Reich "happened accidentally to observe two bright yellow-orange lights
moving in front of a mountain range toward a lake." The encounter was the opening salvo of a "war" with
UFOs that would occupy the final phases of Reich's troubled medical and scientific career.
At the time, Reich, a trained psychoanalyst who had once belonged to Sigmund Freud's inner Vienna circle,
was already facing what he called "emotional and physical misery" caused by his more terrestrial battle
with the U.S. Food & Drug Administration over the use of "orgone," a controversial form of ambient "life
energy" he claimed to have discovered.
Reich found an inexhaustible range of uses for his discovery, touting orgone as everything from the secret
of antigravity to a tool for weather control, especially rainmaking. Most importantly, he found that he could
use orgone to "interfere" with UFOs.
But to the FDA, orgone simply did not exist, rendering Reich's orgone-based therapies prosecutable under
quackery statutes. Even today, four decades after the controversy, Reichian therapists claim to be able to
manipulate the energy for a wide variety of healing effects, including the cure for cancer, without resorting
to drugs, radiation or chemicals. Instead, Reichians work to build up a current of orgone within the patient's
vicinity in order to strengthen and heal the underlying life force itself.
Nevertheless, Reich's legal fight with the FDA ended with his death in prison after defying a federal
injunction against the use of orgone for medical purposes.
Whatever the official status of his medical theories, Reich expected a response when he wrote to the U.S.
Air Force about his UFO sighting. He reasoned that "the U.S. Air Force is the natural organization in the
Western world responsible" for dealing with such phenomena because "it operates in the atmosphere and
watches the frontier upward toward outer space." When the military didn't deal with his report to his
satisfaction, Reich took matters into his own hands.
In his letter to the Air Force, reproduced in his last book, Contact With Space, Reich described his sighting
as "a brightly shining light" moving from west to east through the forest outside Rangeley, Maine. A
second, similar phenomenon soon joined the first, both moving steadily in front of Spotted Mountain. He
concluded that the objects were not stars due to their course and the mountain intervening between their
apparent motion and the sky, but the possibility that they were military vehicles or other objects of a
terrestrial type did not seem to occur to him.
At around the same time, Reich's secretary, Ilse Ollendorff, also reported seeing "a similar, but brighter and

bigger, because closer, object." Like the aerial phenomena observed by Reich, Ollendorff's sighting hovered
in front of a mountain, but then "was seen rising once vertically upward, settling down again and then
disappearing."
The Air Force, for its part, was either unaware of Reich's running battle with the FDA, or was intrigued
enough by his encounter to overlook the controversy. Lt. Steven J. Hebert, stationed at the Presque Isle Air
Force Base, wrote back telling Reich that the "subject officer notified this organization to take whatever
action necessary, since this unit is interested in investigating unidentified aerial phenomena."
Hebert enclosed a copy of Technical Information Sheet Form A, the Air Force's UFO reporting
questionnaire, for Reich and Ollendorff to fill out and return. As Contact With Space ruefully notes, Reich
received the letter only five days before the FDA obtained the injunction forbidding the distribution of
orgone equipment as medical devices.
Reich returned the questionnaire along with a copy of a short essay, "Survey on Ea," providing background
on other unusual occurrences around the Orgonon research facility, including the revelation that friends
had told Reich "of saucers having been seen over Orgonon in 1951." However, he had taken little personal
interest in the reports until 1953, when his discovery of Keyhoe's book made him wonder whether UFOs
or, in his terminology, "Enigma Alpha" or "Ea" might be propelled by orgone.
The Air Force did not reply, perhaps put off by the impenetrable nature of the "basic orgonometric
equations" included as an appendix to "Survey on Ea." In the book, Reich includes a rather coyly selfimportant note saying "not all can be revealed" about his relationship with the Air Force, but there is no
evidence in Contact With Space that Reich was in communication with the military until October, a full six
months later.
Instead, during that time, Reich writes that he busied himself with appealing the FDA injunction and
preparing a research trip to Arizona, where he hoped to investigate the role played by orgone reactions in
the formation of deserts.
In looking toward space to explain his sighting, Reich showed himself to be anything but an
uncontaminated witness. Like most U.S. citizens in the 1950s, exposed to years of speculation that flying
saucers were not native to the Earth, Reich already believed that unknown aerial phenomena were, in his
words, most likely "contacts with visitors from outer space."
Reich was familiar with Donald Keyhoe's groundbreaking 1953 book Flying Saucers from Outer Space,
leaving him predisposed to look for extraterrestrial explanations for the unknown lights weaving across the
sky near his Maine research facility. Moreover, the fact that he had seen 'War of the Worlds' only three
weeks before reporting his sighting was also likely a contributing factor as Reich called the film "a rather
realistic approach to the planetary emergency," it evidently made quite an impression.
Furthermore, the cultural climate of the 1950s not only predisposed Reich to look beyond the Earth, but to
look for evidence that his UFOs were engaged in "warlike" behavior.
The threat of war was in the air, both in Reich's embattled personal life and in the broader political
framework. The Keyhoe book popularized several apparently hostile encounters between Air Force pilots

and unidentified aerial phenomena, while no less a personage than General Douglas MacArthur would
warn only a year after Reich's sighting that "all countries on Earth will have to unite to ... make a common
front against attack by people on other planets."
With that in mind, the Austrian refugee, who had fled to the United States from the Nazis, considered it not
only a scientific but a patriotic duty to alert Air Force Intelligence to the encounter at once.
This policy of full disclosure was typical to Reich, who had taken care to keep the White House informed
about developments in orgone research since 1951. While his critics point to this as another symptom of
what long-time skeptic Martin Gardner called Reich's "paranoid egoism," Reich himself seems to have
considered the matter a "major responsibility" and seems to have downplayed the potential uses of his
encounter as a self-promotional vehicle.
In May, however, Reich made an accidental discovery that a few Air Force officers, including General Harold
Watson, chief of intelligence at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, would find very interesting.
As Reich was scanning the sky with a "cloudbuster," a device he had designed to draw orgone out of the sky
in order to induce rain, he saw a star "fade out" in the presence of three other witnesses. He pointed the
cloudbuster pipes at a second blinking light, which also faded in brightness. Meanwhile, the first star
reasserted itself once the cloudbuster was pointed away from it.
Reich repeated the experiment three more times in quick succession, reporting identical effects each time.
As it was scientifically impossible that his device could have interacted with actual stars even in orthodox
Reichian literature, the cloudbuster's range was measured in kilometers, not lightyears he concluded that
his device had interfered with two UFOs.
Having concluded that his cloudbuster could also function as a "spacegun," Wilhelm Reich began to outfit
his Arizona expedition as though preparing for a war with outer space.
In October 1954, Wilhelm Reich was under siege. Not only had the Food and Drug Administration stripped
him of his livelihood, but almost daily UFO sightings were leaving his friends and family exhausted and
frightened.
"There is no doubt that I am at war" with the UFOs, Reich wrote hours after four bright pulsating lights
hovered for hours over Orgonon, his research facility in rural Maine. "What seemed only a possibility one
year ago is certainty now."
The UFOs had been menacing Orgonon since Reich began experiments with super-charging his
"cloudbuster" weather-control device with small amounts of radioactive material. Reich had learned in May
that the cloudbuster not only apparently pulled rain out of clouds, but also drained energy from lights in
the sky, making it, in his words, a "spacegun" effective against UFOs.
Like the cloudbuster, the Austrian psychiatrist turned "natural scientist" was convinced, UFOs operated on
orgone, an ambient energy source that interacts with life and organic matter. Reich's claims to the
contrary, the FDA had determined that orgone did not exist, and so had obtained an injunction against any
medical treatment purporting to effect cures through orgone manipulation.

However, Reich stayed devoted to the reality of his discovery. He trained the "spacegun" on two aerial
objects as they hovered ominously over Orgonon, causing both to retreat. One "disappeared after
weakening, waning and blinking, leading Reich to conclude triumphantly that "tonight, for the first time in
the history of man, the war waged for ages by living beings from outer space upon this Earth . . . was
reciprocated."
As above, so below. On that same day, Reich informed the authorities in Portland that he would resume his
orgone-oriented publishing efforts. This defiance would lead to his death in prison less than three years
later.
Reich, convinced that the aliens were waging their "war" against Earth by poisoning its orgone, creating
deserts, decided to test his spacegun in the drought-wracked wastes north of Tucson, AZ. According to his
final book, Contact With Space, it had not rained in Tucson for 5 years, making the desert a perfect proving
ground for both the cloudbuster's rainmaking and UFO-weakening abilities.
Meanwhile, in order to share his findings with the Air Force, Reich sent his assistant William Moise ahead to
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio. As Reich bitterly noted, Orgonon "had received no direct
help from the Air Force, financial or otherwise," but he remained eager to keep the military posted on the
extraterrestrial-combat uses of orgone.
Moise, however, got a guarded reception at Wright-Patterson. General Harold Watson, chief of Air Force
Intelligence, had initially seemed eager to speak with Moise about Reich's claim to have "disabled" two
UFOs, even insisting that Moise could arrive late in the day and the two men could "continue the
conference after supper."
Travelling cross-country, Moise was concerned that accidental factors could get in the way of the meeting
and confirmed his appointment with Watson twice. Still, by the time he got to Dayton, Watson was
unavailable due to "unexpected important business."
Instead, a "Dr. W. H. Byers" and Harry Haberer greeted Moise at the base. Moise hated Byers on first sight,
calling him "a man with a flabby handshake and eyes that don't look at you." As Watson had expressed
concern that a group from the CIA would be visiting that week, it is a tantalizing possibility that Byers was a
member of that delegation. Haberer, meanwhile, is known to UFO research as "a crack Air Force public
relations man."
Moise refused to talk to the two men and instead waited until the next day, when he briefed the base's
deputy commander, who reportedly became "excited" by the revelation of a weapon against UFOs.
Haberer and Byers were apparently less impressed, but took notes.
According to Reich, the Air Force continued its tacit interest in his work, sending numerous jets to fly by his
cloudbusting experiments but making no overt gestures because the spacegun was "hot because it wasn't
official, and the reason it wasn't official was because it was so hot."
When his group arrived in Tucson from heavily-wooded Maine on October 19, they were shocked by the
Arizona desert, which was apparently much more severe than it is today. "We were impressed by the bare

ground, giving a general impression of whiteness, hardness," Reich wrote. "The river beds had all been dry
for about 50 years . . . no prairie grass was to be seen anywhere."
Over the next few weeks, the party composed of Reich, his daughter Eva and son Peter, Moise and
another assistant suffered almost immediately from dehydration, exhaustion and general discomfort, all
of which they attributed to poisonous "deadly orgone radiation." However, harassment from UFOs was
sporadic but persistent, leading Reich to theorize that the "thirsty" aerial phenomena were actively fighting
his rainmaking efforts.
The researchers fought back throughout November, apparently encouraging a rich growth of winter prairie
grass but no rain. Transportation difficulties had forced Reich to leave his supply of radioactive material
behind at Orgonon, leaving the cloudbusters at a sharp disadvantage against the UFOs. Without the
radioactive charge, Reich's team could only annoy the lights in the sky but not hinder their inscrutable
activity in any real sense.
Meanwhile, the UFOs kept making the researchers miserable. One of Reich's assistants suffered a
"breakdown" while training his cloudbuster on the sky, forcing him to return to his family for a month of
recuperation. In his absence, Reich speculated that the man had drawn too much poisonous orgone from a
lurking alien object.
By December 7, Reich decided it was time to strengthen his hand by sending for his radioactive hole card,
two radium needles charged with orgone. After a plane trip marked by misadventure and bad weather, the
needles arrived a week later.
Once Reich had his radium, he was ready to retake the offensive against the UFOs and the desert
simultaneously.
"On December 14, about 16:30 hours, a full-scale interplanetary battle came off," he wrote. "A battle which
would have appeared incredible as well as incomprehensible to anyone who knew nothing about the (UFO)
problems or who adhered to the illusion" that neither UFOs nor orgone existed.
First, the Orgonon team had to shake off "a special kind of deadly orgone attack" that left them "in very
bad shape . . . sick . . . dulled, somehow out of balance." A "tremendous black cloud, looking like smoke
from a huge fire" grew over Tucson, eventually taking on an angry reddish-purple coloration and triggering
readings of 100,000 counts per minute on Reich's geiger counter. All of the researchers "suffered from
nausea, quivering, pain in the upper abdomen and discoloration of movements," while "about a dozen Air
Force planes of various kinds" flew over the team's camp.
Matters of orgone, beneficial or poisonous, aside, Reich's description of the event is reminiscent of a
nuclear bomb test: a strong military presence, radiation, smoke, queasiness. However, it is unlikely that the
government would set off a bomb apparently targeted directly on Tucson, a thriving regional center of
commerce.
Reich brought his radium needles into contact with the cloudbusters and started firing away at the cloud to
dissipate its power. The operation took about 20 minutes, at which time the cloud had broken up and the
geiger count returned to normal.
It rained three weeks later. In the meantime, Reich's journal is filled with dozens of UFO sightings "red-

white-blue pulsations," "yellow pulsations," "silvery disks," "green-yellow steady" on which to train his
spacegun sights. Most "grew fainter," were "extinguished" or "blinked out." The grass covering the desert
grew to a height of "several inches to a foot deep," encouraging local ranchers to drive cattle into the
region in herds.
After a brief side trip to Jacumba, CA, the team headed home to Maine at the end of April, 1955. "Our job
in Arizona was done," Reich said.
He was dead 18 months later, and all available copies of his books were burned by court order. Only a few
copies survived, forcing his scattered disciples to rely on private printings of his works including Contact in
Space for direction.

The Acoustic Function of a Reich Cloudbuster

For more than twenty-five years I have studied and researched the work and legacy of Dr. Wilhelm Reich.
While most who are familiar with his work tend to utilize his discoveries in the fields of either mental or
physical health, I have chosen to study the applications of Reich's discoveries in the area of physics, or what
Reich termed as: "Orgone Bio-Physics".
Whether you call it Orgone Energy, as Reich did, or Aether, Odic Force, Chi (Ki), etc., the fact remains that
this primordial life energy does exist. It can be and has been measured, captured, manipulated,
concentrated, and redirected by Reich as well as many others over the years.
With the invention of the Cloudbuster, Reich had a tool that would enable him to massage a stagnant, what
he termed "DORish" atmosphere (DOR = Destructive ORgone), into a vibrant, healthy atmosphere by
reinstating the normal rain cycle in areas that were suffering from drought conditions.
The question that constantly plagued me was, HOW? How did this very simple device induce an energetic
flow without some sort of complex mechanism?
I must admit that, for a while, my research seemed to have hit a deadend. I needed a new, more
unconventional approach to help me find the missing pieces of the puzzle. In the early 1980's, with the
advent of Vanguard Sciences and then KeelyNet, I began finding several of those missing pieces as what
some would call "synchronicity" came into play.
My exposure to the works of Keely, Tesla, Rife, and many others helped me to look at my questions from
other points of view. While it should not come as a complete surprise, this will not be an article detailing all
of the construction or operating techniques for Reich's Cloudbuster. Some detail is necessary in order to lay

the foundation for my theory, through which, I feel that I can finally answer the "How" question with some
clarity.
After receiving independent confirmation of what I had long suspected, I feel that it is time to put forward
my theory that Dr. Wilhelm Reich's Cloudbuster is an acoustic device operating within a range of
frequencies well below human hearing, operating in the Infrasonic or ELF (Extra Low Frequency) range.
In the numerous writings of Reich, there are many indicators pointing to this possibility, beginning with the
observations that lead to the development of the Cloudbuster. Due to a DOR (Deadly Orgone Energy)
emergency at Orgonon (Reich's research facility at Rangeley, Maine) in March of 1952, which quickly
worsened in April, Reich was forced to recall some nearly forgotten observations which enabled him to
disperse the oppressive DOR concentrations that were smothering his facility and the surrounding area.
Reich writes:
"Far back in 1940, when the atmospheric OR energy had been seen for the first time at Mooselookmeguntic
Lake in the Rangeley region through long metal pipes, casual pointing of some pipes at the surface of the
lake seemed to affect the movement of the waves.
This appeared quite incredible at that early period of OR research; the matter was abandoned and soon
forgotten. However, the incredible effect of the metal pipes upon the energy motion such as waves,
seemed to have lingered on in my mind over all these dozen years" - (1)
The length of pipe picks up a specific acoustic wavelength or frequency, determined by the overall length
and inside diameter of the pipe, and then by filtering out other frequencies, boosts or amplifies the
pressure of the acoustic wave emanating from the opposite end of the pipe. Reich continues:
"When the suffering from the DOR became unbearable at Orgonon late in April, a few metal pipes, 9 to 12
feet long and 1 1/2 inch in diameter, were directed toward the black DOR concentrations overhead, and
connected through BX cables to a deep well." - (2)
This is a key bit of information as it provides us with the ability to calculate the Base frequencies that Reich
used to develop and operate his Cloudbuster. Let's say he started with four pipes:
9 ft X 1 1/4 in. I.D. (1 1/2 in. O.D.) = ___?___ Hz
10 ft X 1 1/4 in. I.D. (1 1/2 in. O.D.) = ___?___ Hz
11 ft X 1 1/4 in. I.D. (1 1/2 in. O.D.) = ___?___ Hz
12 ft X 1 1/4 in. I.D. (1 1/2 in. O.D.) = ___?___ Hz
By using the formulas that are used in calculating the sounds generated by the individual pipes of a pipe
organ, it is possible to calculate the corresponding frequency for each length of pipe that Reich used in his
initial experiment.

This also provides the basis for the calculation of the frequencies and harmonics involved in the operation
of a full-blown Cloudbuster as developed by Reich in the fall of 1952. Again, Reich continues:
"The effect was instantaneous: The black DOR-clouds began to shrink. And when the pipes were pointed
against the OR energy flow, i.e., toward the west, a breeze west to east would set in after a few minutes
"DRAW," as we came to call this operation; fresh blue-gray OR energy moved in where the nauseating DORclouds had been a short while before.
Soon we learned that rain clouds, too, could be influenced, increased and diminished as well as moved, by
operating these pipes in certain well-defined ways." - (3)
The existing photos that I have seen show that the tubes were staggered in length when extended for an
OROP (ORgone OPeration utilizinng a Cloudbuster).
This leads me to the conclusion that the Cloudbuster is a tunable acoustic antenna.
Tunable to achieve the desired results, taking into account the specific characteristics of the atmosphere at
a given location, also taking into consideration the dynamics of the atmosphere as it interacts with the
surrounding terrain. (see Appendix A)
You may be asking yourself, what has caused me to draw these conclusions from Reich's writings as sited
above?
Well, my initial suspicions were caused by the recollection of a simple science project that I undertook as a
teen in the 1960's. Using the plans that I had found in an issue of either "Popular Mechanics" or "Popular
Science" magazine, I built a very simple (by today's standards) parabolic microphone.
As I recall, this scratch-built parabolic microphone was made from several varying lengths of copper tubing,
a small metal salad bowl, a small (crystal?) microphone like those used for the small reel to reel type
portable tape recorders, and a 6" piece of wooden broom handle.
The copper tubing was cut in lengths ranging from approximately 18" to 2' 6" in length. Each specific length
corresponded to a specific frequency. The microphone was mounted with some stiff wire approximately 1"
below the lip of the metal bowl (at the focal point of the reflected sound) and the piece of broom handle
was attached to the outside of the bowl with a screw to serve as a handle.
With the numerous pieces of tubing bundled together, one end of the bundle having all ends of the tubing
flush or even, the even end was then covered with the bowl and the bowl fastened into place. (see
appendix A)
Here as you can see by my rough illustration, the parabolic microphone that I built was very simple. The
crystal microphone that I used in it's construction was relatively insensitive when compared to the
miniaturized, omni-directional microphones we have available today. But, due to the frequency limitations
established by the specific lengths of the tubing used, effectively filtering out the background noise, and
the focusing effect of the metal bowl, the microphone was good for a range of 200+ yards.

Now, as to the independent confirmation that I mentioned earlier, this came in the form of a national news
story that I was compelled to follow-up on. It seems that in 1995, Professor Al Bedard of N.O.A.A.'s
Environmental Research Lab discovered that tornadoes have an acoustic signature.
A signature that can consist of several separate frequencies as well as their related harmonics, all in the
sub-audible range below 20 Hz. There is a direct link to the size and intensity of a tornado and the sounds it
emits.
It has also been discovered that that a powerful tornado may contain within it, as many as six smaller
tornadoes. Professor Bedard and his associates are working on a system to detect tornadoes that would
provide up to 30 minutes warning to all those who find themselves in a tornado's path.
Professor Bedard is no stranger to the inner workings of tornadoes. He created "TOTO" (the "TOtable
Tornado Observatory"), in 1982 to study live tornadoes. TOTO is able to measure the temperature, velocity,
atmospheric pressure, and electricity of a tornado. The device called "Dorothy" in the movie "Twister"
bears a striking resemblance to Bedard's TOTO.
In the movie, the fictional Dorothy releases hundreds of little sensor-filled spheres, whereas Bedard's
instrument package - TOTO, stays on the ground.
I believe that Bedard's discovery of an acoustic signature for any given tornado, combined with a
Cloudbuster functioning as a tunable acoustic antenna, ties directly into Reich's second rule of his "Rules to
Follow in Cloud Engineering" where Reich states:
"Never play around with rain making or cloudbusting. The OR envelope which you tackle while "drawing"
energy from the atmosphere is an energetic continuum of high power. You may cause twisters.".....(4)
Even as I write this I have to ponder: WHY?!
There is no physical mechanism to induce an energetic flow other than acoustic. What aspect of a
Cloudbuster allows it to attract and concentrate OR (ORgone energy) more than say, a body of water, given
that water attracts and holds OR?
Again, I must say acoustics - tunable acoustics.
For a moment, let us look at Trevor Constable's "Weather Guns". Constable developed these devices after
years of experimentation with Reich's Cloudbuster design. Constable's "Weather Guns" do not require
grounding in water as Reich's Cloudbuster does, but it is required that they be in motion and in pairs to
operate optimally (Please do not confuse his "Weather Guns" with his "Spiders").
Constable's Weather Guns must be paired to achieve the desired harmonic to create the desired effect.
Individually, a single Weather Gun produces only 1/2 the wavelength (or 1/2 an Octave) and must be paired
to produce the full wavelength (or full Octave) that a single tube from a Reich Cloudbuster can produce.
(Again, see Appendix A)

It should also be noted that while both appear to be acoustic devices, both function in different ways.
Constable's Weather Guns operate somewhat like a snowplow moving down a road. They concentrate the
atmosphere's OR and moisture into a rolling waveform moving along ahead of the moving devices until it
reaches a sufficient concentration to precipitate out of the atmosphere in the form of rain.
Then the concentration process will begin again, if the devices remain in motion. Constable's video
(available through Borderland Sciences Research Foundation ) showing his ocean-going Weather Gun
