Please note that this is needed because our custodial and I staff take thelr vacations in the summer. As a result we are short-handed as well. IF approved, we will attempt fo hire an internal candidate anc would recommend the position be named "Network Manager”. This is @ 260 day position, that will equce minimally a 8S degree. Please callif you have questions (office - 467-3128, home ~ 467-5202, of cell- 274-091) Minooks Community Consolidated School District 201, ‘Office of Special Education February 2015 Executive Summary Director of Special Education During the January Board Meeting, we discussed the need for an additional teacher for Minooka Primary Center's Farly Childhood Program. We currently have 40 students enrolled in the morning session and 32 students enrolled in the afternoon session. In compliance with ISBE Administrative Code, Section 226.730: Each class for children ages 3 through 5 shall have at least one qualified teacher for each 5 students in attendance during the class. However, the district may increase the class size to a maximum of 10 students when a paraprofessional (program assistant is provided for the entire class, Tis leaves fourteen evailable openings on the Early Childhood rosters, The preschool diagnostic eam will complete 8 additional evaluations between now and March 19°, Dependent on each child’ eligibility for services, our Farly Childhood Classrooms could hit their ‘maximum class size limit by March 19", We would like to request that a new teacher be added to the Early Childhood team to aliow for more students to be serviced in the program, This would allow us to service an additional five students with apart time teacher (Jen students with a part-time teacher and aide).
