Highlights of Audio 50 APS
Audio 50 APS consists in the standard version of
the operating unit (HU) and the Audio gateway
(AGW).
The Audio gateway is housed in the trunk and is
available in 2 versions, with and without Sound
System (base version = without Sound System).
The Audio gateway combines the following
funtions:
AM/FM reception (diversity-compatible)
Audio amplifier
interface between MOST and CAN-B
central diagnostic interface for MOST
components
with Sound System version:
- digital signal processing (DSP)
- microphone input for tone balance
AGW Audio gateway

Highlights of COMAND
As on the Audio 50 APS system, the COMAND
consists, as standard, of the operating unit (HU)
and the Audio gateway (AGW).
In the ECE version, COMAND also comprises as
standard the DVD navigation processor.
The Audio gateway is housed in the trunk and is
available in 2 versions, with and without Sound
System (base version = without Sound System).

Highlights of MOST:
In comparison to D2B, MOST offers an increased
gross data rate of approx. 22Mbits/s (D2B approx
5.6 MBits/s).
In comparison to D2B, MOST now offers15
stereo channels in place of 3, or the distribution of
MPEG-coded video signals.
In the future, it will even be conceivable to boost
the transfer rate of MOST to 50 Mbits/s.
