CASES OF ACCIDENT NEAR THE RESIDENTIAL AREA.
As a chairperson in this Taman Murni committee, I would like to inform you about the
incidents that happened last week.
2. The incident involved a couple in this neighbourhood and both of the victims were
riding on a motorcycle during the incident. The victim is a soldier and his pregnant wife
were pinned in between two school buses in this horrific accident.
3. Recently, there are many accidents near our neighbourhood and as the
residents, we are not happy with this situation because it becomes worst since there
are many vehicles on the road especially in the morning and in the evening.
4. I would like to give a suggestion to control the situation and my suggestion is to
give a heavy penalty to those who cross speed limits especially near the neighbourhood
because accidents only can be avoided by strict enforcement of speed limits.
I hope my suggestion will be given due consideration and I thank you for your attention.

Section C: Reflection
Alhamdulilah, I have done my task before the dateline. I have to submit this task
on 8th September 2012. I have been given this task on 4 th August. The next day I started
to surf the internet to get the articles about the topic that I have chosen. There are many
articles about accidents. I read the articles so many times to get it clear. It is not easy for
me, but the best part is I get some benefits through this coursework. As a teacher it is

good for me to learn a new thing. Although English is not my mother tongue but it is
important for me to improve my grammar. I would like to thank to my colleagues,
especially the English teachers for giving me a brief explanation about the articles.
I faced a few problems during the coursework. The biggest problem is to manage
my time. I have to look after my kids and at the same time do the revision. I have to look
after them first before I can start my work because my children are my priority. I have
three kids and all of them need my attention. As a housewife, I have to do all the house
chores and sometimes those works make me feel very tired. It is very challenging to
further my study at this age. Luckily my husband helps me a lot. He helps me to take
care of the children while I am busy doing my assignment. I am really appreciating him
for his kindness.
Another problem is to get the ideas to write the formal letter. It is not easy for me
to write the letter because I dont have any experience writing the formal letter in
English. I always get confuse about tenses. By surfing the internet, I got many samples
of formal letter and I use it as a guide. By doing this coursework, I think that I have
improve my vocabulary. As a teacher, we have to improve ourselves in English.
Teachers nowadays have to increase their knowledge especially in English Language
because it is our second language.
Finally the online exercise that I have done also help me to know my level. It
makes me feel very excited to get the result after I have done the exercises. Although I
am not fully mastered in this part of grammar but it still gives me a new experience.
Hopefully, I can improve myself to a higher level than before and become a good
language learner.
