Theme : World of Stories
Topic : The Greedy Lion
Learning Std : 1.1.2 , 1.1.4
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to answer questions orally
based on the story.
Activities
1. Teacher plays the sound of animals to the pupils and pupils says out the names of
animal.
2. Teacher puts up a series of pictures and question pupils base on the pictures.
3. Teacher tells the story and pupils listen.
4. Predict the ending of the story.
5. Question and answer session based on the story.
6. Teacher asks the pupils to talk about the moral value of the story
heard.

Day 2
Theme : World of Stories

Learning Std : 2.2.1 (a), 2.3.1
Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :

Activities
1. Teacher puts up the chart of the story.
2. Teacher guides the pupils to read the story.
3. Pupils read the story aloud.
4. Teacher shows the word cards and pupils read after the teacher.
5. Pair the pupils.
6. One pupil will be given a set of picture cards and the other will be given a set of word
cards.
7. Teacher says out a word. The pupil has the correct picture and correct word card have
to come out.

Day 3

1. Teacher shows picture cards and asks question about the pictures.
2. Teacher writes out the words that pupils response.
3. Teacher guides pupils to make simple sentences orally according to the words.
4. Teacher writes out the sentences on the board.
5. Pupils copy the sentences into their exercise book.
