Pastors Notes:
The 1st weekend of Rekindle
services is finished and what
a time we had! Evangelist
Lairsey preached pertinent words and
challenged our hearts. Many were in the altars and I am believing that lives were touched
and souls set on fire for Him. From being encouraged to get in the secret place, to seeing
that even in terrible situations, God has grace, and finally knowing about the
breakthroughs these can certainly propel us forward as we seek to burn bright in
the Lord.
Our 2nd weekend of services begins this Saturday night. PLEASE.do not let anything
keep you from attending. Pastor Neal Nolan will be with us Saturday at 7:00 PM and then
again Sunday night at 6:00 PM. Our Pastor Emeritus & Senior Adult Pastor, James H.
Shealy, will be bring the Word on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM. Invite, invite, INVITE
our friends and family to come be part of these services. It could absolutely be life
changing for them and YOU!

WORSHIP WEDNESDAYS!!!!!!!! Join us for our 3rd worship Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
What a wonderful time we had this past week. The presence of the Lord was so strong among
us. Please come prepared to worship Him so that our spirits will be prepared for our Revival
Services.
Please make plans now to be at the March 29th AM service. We are planning a very special
service. In making plans for this service, the Holy Ghost showed up in the room and
verified that we were on the right track. You do not want to miss this! Invite your lost
family and friends to be here!

Would you be prepared on Sunday morning, March 28th, to give a special Missions offering
to help the Honduras team that will be leaving the Monday after Easter? With our
mission bag money going to our building fund this year, we need some help with our
project funding. We will be ministering to children, women, doing medical checks, putting
an additional side roof to a church, delivering beds to some extremely poor pastors as well
as a month supply of rice & beans to them. Your giving will help insure that all of this is
covered prior to our going. None of your giving will cover the cost of the trip. All money
given in the offering will go to the project costs. Thank you in advance.
I know its hard to believe, but EASTER is less than 1 month away. I hope that you and I will be
intentional in inviting our lost family, friends and neighbors to be in the church that day. What a
wonderful evangelistic opportunity we have on this day. Many people will go to church on
Easter that will not go any other day of the year. So be intentional in inviting people to be in
church with you. The choir and myself will again this year collaborate and work together to
present the Easter message in Word and Song. I am believing that we will see a great harvest of
souls.

OUR ARM N ARM PROGRAM IS STILL GOING TO MEET NEEDS.-- $2 STILL

FEEDS THE YOUNG MEN IN HONDURAS.
If you can place $2 per week in your tithe envelop and mark it Arm or Arm n Arm, we can send
$150 each month to feed the 10-12 young men in Honduras. These young men have a workshop
at the church and are making beds, tables, chairs, and now hutches and dressers. These young
men have little or no food unless we help them. These young men live at the church because they
have no other place to live. While living there, they clean, repair, set up for programs, and they
guard the church from thieves. They have literally devoted themselves to the church and now
WE have the privilege of BLESSING them with a BASIC necessityfood. Until we started this
program, they went days with no food, however, they still gave themselves as servants to the
Lord and to the church there.
$2 goes a long way in Honduras.
HONDURAS ITEMS.
Thanks to everyone who has brought items. We have all we need except we need a few more
trial size lotions, shampoos and conditioners.
I need USED NECKTIES to bless the young men who minister with us. They like to dress up for
church and this would bless them.

A few weeks ago as I was making a new batch of my homemade Salt Scrub for the Ladies
Ministries Office, I was thinking of how this one product can do two things. A salt scrub
exfoliates the skin and then leaves it moisturized. The roughness of the salt works to scrub away
the aged, dry and rough skin on hands and feet. Then the coconut oil and the mineral oil softens
and moisturizes the skin and leaves it feeling wonderful.
For some reason, this reminded me of some verses about the process of refining gold or silver.
Job 23:10 Yet He knows the way I take, when He has tested me, I will come out like gold.
Malachi 3:2-3 .For He will be like a refiners fire, like the soap makers eye, He will sit,
testing and purifying
Proverbs 25:4 Remove the dross (impurities) from the silver. Take away the dross from the
silver and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
The process of refining precious metals does two things. As metals are heated to extremely high
temperatures, the heat separates the dirt and debris from the gold or silver and then the purest

form of the precious metal is left. When gold or silver are in their purest form, they bring the
highest price.
In life we experience times when things heat up or there is friction. The friction isnt
necessarily a problem with someone else and it isnt always from the enemy. It can be those
things but sometimes it is just a time of testing. Testing isnt fun but if we handle this testing
correctly, it builds character and faith. If we let the process do what needs to be done, a purifying
can take place and stuff that we dont need in our lives can be removed. That process will bring
forth the best possible form or us.
Testing is like the rubbing of the salt scrub on the skin. It creates a friction that will remove
old, dry and unsightly particles. The oils in the salt scrub bring something new and fresh and
pure just like the refining does to the gold and silver.

What an awesome time we had in the Lord last Thursday. The Holy Ghost met with us in the
Mancave and if you guys were not in attendance with us....well, you just plain out missed it.
After a great devotion done by Pastor Phil Weathers, he issued a challenge to us, then our
brothers begin to share their perspective and encourage one another in the Lord. Amazing stuff
fellas....God is well pleased. Our food was prepared by brother Steve Collins and let me
say....that chicken stew was great!!! We have such a great group of brothers who are very
talented. Teachers, cooks, builders, workers, singers, leaders... you can't find a better group
anywhere. I am very proud to be a part of "us". I love yall guys! Our next meeting will be April
2nd and our Band Of Brothers counsel is planning for a great event that you will not want to
miss. Make plans now to attend cause it is gonna be good.

FALL SENIOR ADULT REVIVAL:
I know it is early but I wanted you to know that we have secured our Evangelist for this
meeting. Rev. V. R. Le Buhn will be our guest again this year. He did an outstanding job for us
last year and I'm sure he will do so again. He will also be speaking on Sunday morning for our
Senior Adult Sunday. The dates are Oct. 15.16 and 18.

In March on Saturday the 28th we will be having a 70's night at our gameroom that will include
mirror ball, strobe lights, fog machine, decorations, and 70's music. Everyone should dress in
attire from the 70's as we will be voting for prizes on several categories such as most original,
best dresses, etc. Each person is asked to bring some finger foods. This should be lots of FUN!
There will be sign-up sheet is on our bulletin board in the hallway at church. Please invite others
that don't usually participate as people hesitate until someone extends a personal invitation and
shows an interest in getting them involved so they can get to know others in the church.
