Mining Truck
The MT5300D AC 291 tonnes (320 tons) truck utilizes a
Catengine and Cat AC drive system, developed and
supported by Caterpillar. The MT5300D AC is designed
todeliver high productivity and the lowest cost per unit
ofproduction.

Reduces downtime by providing simple hydraulic systems,
modular components, hydraulic gauge cabinet, grouped
service locations, engine bay service walkways andmore
ground accessible maintenance points.
Frame Durability
Straight-rail, box-section frame design eliminates sources of
stress concentration such as bends and breaks, and as a result
provides an increase in frame fatigue life. Continuous frame
rail beams with deep sections in critical area and ROPS
supports also reduce stress delivering a rugged and
dependable frame.

Wheel Motor
Power Ratings apply at 1,800 rpm when tested under the specified
conditions for the specified standard.
Ratings based on SAE J1995 standard air conditions of 25 C
(77 F) and 99 kPa (29.61 Hg) dry barometer. Power based on
fuel having API gravity of 35 at 16 C (60 F) and an LHV of
42780 kJ/kg (18,390 BTU/lb) when engine used at 30 C (86 F).
No engine derating required up to 2743 m (9,000 ft) altitude.

Production capabilities of the MT5300D AC truck are such that,
under certain job conditions, TKPH (TMPH) capabilities could
be exceeded and, therefore, limit production.
Caterpillar recommends the customer evaluate all job conditions
and consult tire manufacturer for proper tire selection.
