MSc Program in eHealth Internship Report

Format and Content

The internship report is designed for several audiences:
For you, the student, it provides:

a chance to improve your writing skills

a summary of your internship experience
an opportunity for reflection on your preparation before the internship, your learning during
the internship, and plans to complete your degree.

For the program, the final report helps us evaluate your progress through the program. We
also review your reports to determine if modifications should be made to improve the courses
and seminars the program provides to prepare you for your internship or to address
educational needs after the internship.
The report is due by the end of January after returning from your internship. Copies should be
sent to the eHealth Program Director. You will receive feedback from the Program Director by
February 20th. The report will be graded as pass or fail.
Your degree requires a successful internship experience. To accomplish this requirement you
need to complete the following tasks.
1. Satisfactory performance indications from the employer during and at the end of the
internship
2. Final report as specified in this document that is given a grade of satisfactory.
The report should be approximately 1,500 words, double-spaced with 1-inch margins. The
format is similar to technical reports you may need to produce during your career.
