Pastors Notes:
WE HEARD FROM THE
LORD!!!! I can say without
question that we heard from
the Lord in every service. They were powerful
words, challenging words and words with which we must now do something. I still hear
the questions that Pastor Shealy asked on Sunday morning. Does God still speak? If He
does, then how do we respond? Sunday night, we ended the service by singing Ill say
yes Lord, Ill say yes. To your will Lord, Ill say yes! I hope and pray that is our answer
to the Lord. We must say yes to the simple things He asks or requires, but we also must
answer yes to the hard and difficult things He asks.
Sunday morning, we have planned a very special service. It is going to be different than
anything we have done.at least that I can remember. It is our way of trying to show our
desire to keep the momentum that we gained through the last 2 weekends and call the body
to commit to moving forward. PLEASE..be here. I am begging you, put everything else
aside and be here. As part of the service, you will be coming forward to receive something
as a memento of your commitment. You will also be coming forward to bring your tithes
and offerings. Remember, your offering Sunday will be a special offering for the Honduras
Mission Project. Please prayerfully consider what the Lord would have you give and know
that whatever you do to the least of these His children, you have done it unto the Lord.
Thank you in advance for your generous gift!

WORSHIP WEDNESDAYS!!!!!!!! Join us for our 4th worship Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
What a wonderful time we had this past week. The presence of the Lord was so strong among
us. Please come prepared to worship Him so that our spirits will be prepared for our Revival
Services.

I know its hard to believe, but EASTER is less than 2 weeks away. I hope that you and I will be
intentional in inviting our lost family, friends and neighbors to be in the church that day. What a
wonderful evangelistic opportunity we have on this day. Many people will go to church on
Easter that will not go any other day of the year. So be intentional in inviting people to be in
church with you. The choir and myself will again this year collaborate and work together to
present the Easter message in Word and Song. I am believing that we will see a great harvest of
souls.

Sister2Sister Talk with Lisa Terry
Soon after we moved into the parsonage, the doorbell stopped working. My husband went to one
of the home improvement stores and bought a doorbell kit. This particular doorbell kit required
little electrical wiring. The doorbell button had to be wired on the porch where the other button
had been. The rest of the kit, which contained the bell was simply a small unit that was
plugged into an outlet inside the house. For a short while, it worked fine but then we noticed a
problem with this doorbell. When we plugged the vacuum in and turned it on ---the doorbell
rang. When we turned the microwave oven on ---the doorbell rang. When the icemaker ran and
dropped ice ---the doorbell rang. Now the normal thing to do when a doorbell rings is to go to the
door and see who is there. At first, we went to the door every time we heard the bell ring. Time

after time, we found no one at the door. So after a while, we just ignored it. The doorbell would
ring and we wouldnt even bother going to look to see if someone was there. We assumed that
the doorbell was just playing its tricks on us and we didnt even respond. However, on a few
occasions, we were surprised to find that there was actually someone at the door.
I wonder how many people have done what we did when it comes to Jesus knocking at their
door.
Revelation 3:19-20 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come
in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Jesus said Im at the door knocking. If you hear me and open the door, Ill come in and
fellowship with you. Fellowship with Jesus Christ requires some effort. We have to let him
change us, make us, and mold us. Today, the problem is not that people dont hear Christ. No, I
believe they hear him. The problem is that they do what my family did. They hear and they
ignore. Maybe they dont open the door because they dont think there is anything of importance
on the other side. In reality, Jesus is all they need. Jesus is the answer to all of their problems.
Jesus is the peace and comfort they seek after. Having fellowship with Jesus Christ is worth the
effort.
Help me pray that people will open the door and let Jesus in. Help me pray that people of
Woodruff will stop ignoring him. Help me pray that backsliders and lost people will open up the
doors of their heart and allow Jesus to change them.
