Pakistan: Impact of Balochistan Earthquakes - as of 4 October 2013

Following two powerful earthquakes experienced in Balochistan


Province on 24 and 28 September 2013, 11 non-governmental
organizations conducted an assessment through 296 key informant
interviews in 296 villages from 30 September to 4 October to determine
humanitarian needs in the affected areas.

Gujjar UC:
More than 80% of the houses
have been destroyed.
100% of the public health facilities
are not functional.

Nokjo UC:
More than 30 assessed villages have been demolished.

-based livelihoods.
More than 82% of villages do not have access to health
